Dylan was excellent in bringing out some linguistic confidence from my son with very similar age to him, preparing for Alevels language. Recommend!

Michelle has been absolutely amazing over the last few weeks. We originally asked for maths support, but as SATs got closer, she also helped with English and SPAG. His confidence has skyrocketed in such a short space of time, and we are all extremely grateful. We cannot recommend Shropshire Tutor highly enough — worth every penny.

The little treats after each session were such a lovely gesture and something our son really looked forward to collecting!

Our daughter has been tutored in GCSE English by Evie for a couple of months now and has already improved by 2 grades in her recent mock exams. We would definitely recommend Shropshire Tutor!

Our daughter started her journey with Adele and Shropshire Tutor in 2023, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far she’s come. She has just passed her 11 Plus, and the transformation over the past two years has been incredible. Two years ago, we took in a quiet little girl, and this September she walked into her exam calm, confident, and ready- taking the whole process in her stride.

Being part of Shropshire Tutor truly feels like being part of a family. Adele’s dedication goes far beyond the two hour sessions each week, she genuinely cares, supports, and inspires her students. We’re so grateful for the role she’s played in our daughter’s success.

Jen has been tutoring my daughter in maths. She has really boosted her confidence and we have noticed a great improvement. My daughter likes that Jen plans sessions based on what she will next be doing in school which allows her a head start and has helped her keep up in class better .she is very patient and explains things in a clear way. My son started with Shropshire Tutor in Year 4 in preparation for the 11+ test. He met with Adele every half term in a group and was set work to do in between these sessions. In Year 5, he attended weekly sessions which covered all areas of the 11+ test (including non-verbal reasoning which I was particularly thankful for!). My son went in to his 11+ test feeling prepared and confident. This was a result of Adele's teaching and her nurturing approach in helping children to see what they CAN do! My son received his results yesterday and we are over the moon! Thank you for all of your hard work, Adele and your team. I am so glad you have been a huge part of my son's journey.

My daughter joined classroom based weekly group sessions for 11+ prep a few months into year 5. She flourished under the guidance of Adele, learning concepts quickly and in a fun way. Her excitement for learning grew and grew enabling her to pass the 11+ confidently. After the exam I asked my daughter what the most important thing she took away from the sessions were that helped her and she stated it was how to sit an exam, how to move on if she got stuck and remain focused and finish each section on time. She also had a couple of 121 sessions on areas she was struggling with and mastered them. Having just had a parents evening at school, they've reported back how brilliantly she is doing and how they believe she'll do well in Y6 SATs. I couldn't recommend Shropshire Tutor high enough, thank you for preparing Leah for the 11+ and for any future exams and for the confidence she now has in her abilities and herself.

My son has started tutoring sessions with Dylan, covering both Maths and Science. I am really impressed with how it's going so far. Dylan is professional, calm and friendly. The sessions are well planned out and Dylan is excellent at breaking down and explaining exam style questions.

My son is due to sit his GCSE's later this year and since starting these sessions he seems much more confident in his ability.

We have just started tutoring with Evie, my son really enjoys the session and she has certainly motivated him and got him thinking about what he is aiming for with his results. He is feeling more confident, and understands where he needs to do more learning to succeed.

Jen is a great tutor, very calm and patient. My daughter really enjoyed her maths lessons with Jen and never felt pressured. Would definitely recommend Jen to anyone wanting help with Maths.

My 9 year old son attended the FCN football course. He absolutely loved it! He particularly enjoyed the variety of football training games and found Finn to be friendly, very professional and a fantastic teacher. He enjoyed the structure of the day and of course the extra activities arranged by Adele. He can’t wait to take part in the next one.

My son recently attended FCN Football. He really enjoyed himself here and came home asking to go back again. He was so excited to show me that he had got a certificate for being a good team player.

Mixing football and tutoring together - epic idea! My 9 year old went apprehensive and came away saying he had the best day! The team were great, highly recommend!

Adele is an excellent teacher and my kids academic level has improved significantly after attending her classes.
Also, the FCN football sessions run by Finn was very fun and combined football with arts. My son really enjoyed.

My son attended FCN Football coaching session in October half-term. He absolutely loved it! He doesn’t usually have much enthusiasm for playing football as his interests/hobbies lie elsewhere so I was surprised when he said he wanted to go! He obviously REALLY enjoyed it as he came out talking about new friends he has made, skills he had learnt, earning himself a certificate and asking us to book him on to the next one! Thank you to all at FCN for giving him confidence and encouraging him so positively. He already can’t wait for January!

Adele is so amazing with her teaching skills. She’s been wonderful with my daughter preparing for her 11 plus. It’s just a month and I can see that confidence already. Fun learning technique is the USP. The best part is she’s always reachable for any query or information needed. Highly recommend!

As a family we sit here with four out of four of our children comfortably passing their 11+ after being tutored by Adele. The schools will warn you about having a tutor but don’t forget they want naturally intelligent kids and fear tutoring will just focus on passing the exam. Given how many kids take and then fail the exam, I’d say having a tutor is vital whether your child is naturally intelligent or not.

Knowing Adele (and Markus) for so many years I know how much care and commitment they have for this business and it comes through with every lesson.

Using a tutor does not guarantee success but not using one makes the task of passing so much more difficult. If you want your kids to go to a good local grammar school then give them the best chance in passing by signing up. Sept 2025 is not that far away!!!
