Great learning environment, safe and with a good community vibe. Sensei Olgun goes out of his way to make sure students are happy and took the time to talk through the training options. Now a regular attendee! Enjoyed my session yesterday and learning lots every week

Inclusive and friendly classes. I love that I can train alongside my children. Amazing, encouraging and knowledgeable instructors.

The instructor is good with the children. Disciplined class environment. My child looks forward to her weekly lessons.

The class was enjoyable and fun,
Due to my work the times suit me finishing eariler in the evening, enabling me to go to class then to work.
The maidenhead venue has parking,.also clean and tidy, all in all very good.

My son enjoys his martial arts class and it had such a positive influence on him. Recommend it 100%

Then spends time giving individual help . All based on defending yourself without any nonsense. Really enjoyed it .

My daughter has been attending the Shuhari Dojo in Maidenhead for nearly 3 years after having a taster session at school. She loves going and the family friendly classes have really helped her confidence and balance. The instructors have always been kind and motivating inspiring her to be her best self and learning important life skills along the way.

The first moment me and my son walked into the Shuhari Jitsu dojo we were instantly made to feel welcome. Excellent child to adult ratio. Mutual respect, discipline and fun central tenants of all the Dojo’s. It’s been just over a year and a half now and I’ve not looked back since.

Shuhari is excellent and I could tell my child has loved her experience so far in Shuhari, the teachers pay close attention to all the children and train all the techniques very well

The time spent with my daughter for her to gain confidence. She enjoys her sessions and is getting a lot better.

Great for begginers and kids of all ages, they are extremely patient and our son loves it. Multiple lessons a week to choose from, and adult classes to.

From day 1 we were looking for our son to gain confidence and to defend himself.

What we have seen are dedicated instructors who give full support to achieve his aim.

Our son thoroughly enjoys his weekly session and looks forward to his next lesson.

I started training at Shuhari's Bracknell dojo just over a year ago when my confidence was at an all-time low.

Having struggled with social anxiety for many years, I had reached a point where I was almost too frightened to step out of the front door.

Having the chance to work with the instructors - who are not only brilliant at what they do but also very patient - has given my self-confidence a huge boost.

In a short space of time I've learned several basic self defence techniques and I'm continuing to learn each week.

As well as confidence, the classes are great for fitness and give you a chance to meet some great people along the way.

Everyone pushes each other with a competitive spirit but they're a super friendly bunch who are also incredibly supportive.

Can't recommend enough!

I have joined Shuhari at the age of 9 and now being a 21 year old, I can honestly say I have learnt so much about martial-arts and more importantly it has shaped me as a person. Shuhari self defence school has not only taught me the beauty of martial-arts and self defence but also taught me key skills such as etiquette and how to deal with things under pressure. I truly believe I have learnt so much from Shuhari, things I didn't even know I could apply to life in general such as determination, motivation and pushing myself past my limits. My respect for my Senseis, Senpais, assistant instructors and fellow students will always continue to grow as I see each individual grow each time I see them. One thing I truly love about coming back to the dojo is that the smiles and the friendships never change and everyone pushes each other to achieve their best.

I started going to Shuhari self defence classes to try something new, very quickly got into it and with the help of the instructors learnt a lot about technique’s and how to execute them perfectly.
The family environment at Shuhari is fantastic and with the flexible times they offer makes it very easy to do at least 1 class a week.

So glad I came across Shuhari self defence classes. One of the few martial art and self defence clubs that focus heavily on physical training as well as the spiritual side to boost your general wellbeing in every aspect, happy to be part of the Shuhari family, couldn't recommend them more highly!

Techniques taught are practical, effective and realistic. I learned a lot of values. Grit and timing are most important in anything you do if you want to succeed. Shuhari had given me better confidence. Tuition rates are most reasonable in this dojo. The students and instructors are most friendly though there had been intense practice at times. It is still a happy place.

Sensei Olgun is a fantastic mentor to both children and adults alike.
We orginally signed our 7 year old son up to Shuhari as a confidence and discipline boost.
The classes were so inspirational we all ended up joining 2x adults and 2x children. It is a wonderful class for the whole family who want to keep their fitness levels and flexibility.
