Ordering is easy and user friendly - difficult to get through on the telephone but correspondence via email was pretty rapid and rescheduling of delivery was a little late but that was down to circumstances at the local hub/delivery driver’s schedule, rather than outgoing.

I ordered vegetarian package for friend of mine and his wife (both vegan) as they expect their first child.
They were really surprised by Persian vegetarian food and enjoyed. Taste amazing! It was delivered in time and in a lovely package, it is lovely to be able to return the cartoon free of charge too. Excellent!

Throughout the pandemic I have been in strict isolation. Even though we have a grocery delivery none of the ready meals we tried were tasty in any way. The meat especially was tough. Then my daughter in law in California read about Shuro Shirin and recommended it to me. My husband and I were both amazed at how tasty and tender the food was. And portions were more than adequate, Shuro Shirin soars above all the other ready meals we have tried and has been a life saver for both of us!

We were impressed with the quality of the food which is a great option when I can’t be bothered to cook at home, and healthier than a take away.

So impressed with our experience - I’m a veggie and my husband is not, so it’s great that there’s so many choices for us both (and not having to order separately from different companies). Everything we tried was amazing, but my favourite has to be the Aubergine & Split Pea Stew. Great for days when you don’t have time to cook a healthy meal from scratch.

Delicious home cooked food without spending hours in the kitchen! We have enjoyed every dish we have tried so far and the convenience is fantastic, especially when working late. I don't feel guilty like I usually would with a ready meal, as they are calorie friendly and well balanced. If you haven't tried them I would highly recommend. There is a good range of dishes to choose from and they have been bringing out more which is great, I can't wait for my next order to try the new products. The delivery packaging is also fantastic, including the reusable ice packs which I have found to be of much better quality than other frozen food deliveries we have tried.

We had really high hopes for this box we ordered for 4 people but unfortunately the only thing we even found edible was the rice and the flatbreads - we had to throw it away :(

I have eaten two stews now ghormeh sabzi and fesanjan plus rice with broad beans and the saffron rice. They were all delicious and tasted home made . I would strongly recommend them.

I tasted a variety of dishes. Most are great and tasty with beautiful packages, but the quality of lamb neck (too salty), herb frittata (didn't taste like kookoo sabzi!), and loobia polo (was more like a plain rice with not much flavour, also preferred mince meat) were low to my opinion and I didn't enjoy them.

I'm so happy with the food quality, the taste, the packaging, everything! As an Iranian who grew up enjoying homemade Persian cuisine, Shuro Shirin is one of the best tasting Persian food I've had in the UK.
