**EDIT - in response to this review Andrew visited and fixed the issue with the shutter so thank you to Andrew for that. I still think an after-fitting courtesy call would be a good idea to address anything like this. But still, I can’t fault the response so I have raised the star rating too**

Quick reply and appointment for the measurements etc. Long wait for the shutters - over 3 months.
Fitting was efficient, clean and tidy.
One of the shutters doesn’t close completely flat like the others so it does let more light in on that one.
I was surprised there was no follow up call to check all was well or I would have mentioned it. The shutters were quite expensive - close to £1000 per window so I would have expected something.
But overall no major complaints and I’d recommend generally.

Shutters were installed and there was a series of marks and dents in the newly decorated paintwork underneath the windowsill. When I emailed in to complain, I received a phone call basically telling me that I was wrong and that it couldn’t possibly have been the shutter installation that caused the dents because the paintwork would have been chipped. I’m pretty sure paintwork can be dented without being chipped. I received no apology, no offer of any compensation, I was just told that I must be mistaken and that the dents must have been there before. I can guarantee they weren’t there before the installation- it’s a newly plastered and decorated wall. Most disappointing.

Highly recommend Shuttercraft! Andrew is very knowledgable about the full range of products and came with samples of everything so making a decision on what to order was simple and the ordering process was straightforward. He measured and considered everything.
Steve is a fantastic fitter. He had the shutters installed in no time, his work is meticulous and he was very tidy.
All the staff I encountered (Andrew, Sarah and Steve) are incredibly polite and helpful. Pleasure doing business with them!

After doing lots of research, I came across ShutterCraft, Birmingham. Andrew and his team provided an exceptional service from start to finish. professional, efficient and genuine. Prices were also reasonable and competitive. We are thrilled with our new shutters, they have surpassed our expectations, absolutely stunning. I would not hesitate to order from them again! Had the amazing Andrew come out to measure all the windows, talked us thru all the styles colours ect, gave a time frame of 14-16 weeks, Andrew was one of the best people we have had in our house, no pressure, so knowledgable, order was then Placed, we had regular updates from Sarah to how order was progressing! Had 5 shutters installed yesterday by Steve and Jake, these guys are just perfectionists, clean and so friendly! Even cleaned up after and talked us thru each shutter as each one was different size and opened differently, from start to finish this company has been one of the best I have ever dealt with! I would recommend Andrew and his team to anyone , the long lead time was so worth the wait. My shutters fit perfectly and are exactly what I asked for . Overall a joyous experience.

Excellent. It’s been a trying time with covid but these boys never ever used it as an excuse. They were always on time, always cleaned up after them , were polite professional and the shutters are very well made and expertly fitted. The customer service is excellent and we were contacted every step of the way. Highly recommend.
