A very comfortable, well equipped house so well situated with a beautiful view of Cefalu. Easy access to Cefalu and to the hinterland, Castelbuono being very much worth a visit. Simple and easy access to the local sandy beach Mazzaforno with fantastic swimming and not overcrowded. Cefalu is a wonderful small town with good shopping and good restaurants. The Gourmet Decò supermarket just as one enters Cefalu is brilliant, and for superb pasta dishes and good takeaways to eat at home the Pasta e Pasti shop in Via Roma was absolutely amazing but be prepared to wait if you want to sit down, it is THAT good. We had eight glorious days here. A special compliment to the keyholder Ratan who was a great help and always available

The house we rented, Acquamarina, was a dream. One of the most fantastic properties we have stayed in - and we travel often. We enjoyed a private pool, a nearly private beach and every amenity you could wish for, including fresh water, great beds and a welcome basket we lived on for days. The drive is easy and rugged, we were glad for our sturdy car. Menfi and selinunte were in easy distance, Sotuated in a mature nature reserve meant every shot was framed by beautiful greenery, and every one of the many patios has a breathtaking vista. The coffee was strong, the WiFi was strong, the sun was strong: we loved every minute. Thanks to Francesca for sharing her gem with us. We will be back.

We stayed at Villa Provenza in Cefalù for 10 days last summer and honestly had a brilliant time.

The villa was beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. Spacious, comfortable and perfect if you want to relax properly and enjoy a bit of luxury at the same time.

What really stood out though was the service from Sandra. She was excellent from the start. She made the booking process really easy, was always helpful and checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well and that we were enjoying ourselves. It felt personal rather than just another booking, which was appreciated.

Cefalù is somewhere very special to me and my girls. We’ve been coming here for years and keep going back because we love it so much. The old town, beaches, restaurants and evening walks by the sea never get old.

Villa Provenza was the perfect place to stay and made the whole trip even better.

If you’re looking for somewhere for a proper relaxing holiday in Sicily and want a bit of luxury, I would highly recommend it. We would happily stay again.

A precious and expensive week away with our family has become an unpleasant memory. The villa Canto del Mare near Palermo was not suitable for the advertised fourteen people and some of the facilities listed were not supplied, with examples of poor maintenance which amounted to being unsafe.
We told Sicily4u while we were there and sent a detailed account of the problems, with videos and photographs as evidence afterwards. Their consistent response has been that their only responsibility is to pass messages between the owner and customer. They are not accountable to any UK regulatory bodies, belonging to a Swiss company.

Amazing 2nd visit to Villa Adriana - this villa is super luxurious and you feel straight away at home. The property and pool are in fact even larger than it looks in the photos.

We've been before and can't imagine anything better.

You are walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants in beautiful Mondello and an easy taxi or bus ride into Palermo itself. There's no need for a car as Uber now works there and they also have Lime bikes and escooters.

Erminia the owner lives next door is always on hand if you need advice or help, and speaks great English.

We LOVED Villa La Favorita! It MADE our family vacation as the space was perfect. The outdoor space was simply amazing for cooking, dining, and spending time by the pool. You can go out the back gate and swim in the ocean. The inside of the house was beautiful. And it was a quick walk into town.

Booked the Villa Adriana a couple of months in advance…it was easy and no hassle.
A 15-20 minute drive from PMO airport.
Arrived at the Villa to find a beautiful and well maintained place that was very comfortable and had all the amenities.
The pool and tropical grounds surrounding the property were very well cared for and maintained
Checking in and out and access to the property and host were made very easy and clear.
My wife and I booked this place 12 nights for ourselves only. But as big it was, it was such a comfortable and cozy home. We knew it could easily accommodate 4-5 couples but we chose this Villa because we don’t like being crowded in small hotel rooms…and we had the pool to ourselves.
Our host (owner of the property) was terrific!

We liked Mondello Beach and it’s one of the nicest beaches in Sicily, however it’s a bit of a walk from the Villa…a minute or two by car but we didn’t mind this.
From our Villa we drove to many of the other cities in Sicily and had a wonderful time.
Palermo is minutes away and there’s so much to see and do.
We would definitely recommend this place as a rental in Sicily.

The house is amazing. We stayed a week with 7 adults and found that the house offers lots of space, extremely well appointed bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas, everything decorated with great taste and attention to detail. The garden and swimming pool were also fantastic. The location is perfect, very near the beach, with shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Erminia is a lovely hostess, ready to help and give advice.

We are three families with small kids traveling together already more than 10 years. We always rent villa and enjoy privacy and comfort of indoor and outdoor spaces, so we could spend time together and each member could have private time for himself.

Working with Sicily4U, and with Christina Baechle, specifically, was, from start to finish, an exemplary experience in being wisely guided and genuinely helped. Her seasoned network, thoughtful listening and sure-handedness gave us great confidence that her help was genuinely about realizing our desires in Sicily. While we worked openly with other agencies in the beginning, whose villas in Sicily were different and offered different options, we naturally stopped working with anyone else: it was the combination of our strong rapport with Christina, and her abilities (to be timely, detailed and whittle down our list to express only a couple of options that had everything we were looking for) that cemented our working relationship. She's a gem. Sicily4U, therefore, is a gem, and we chose a villa we just loved. Before we arrived. Once we arrived. And every day afterward through to our departure. Our villa was exactly what we hoped it would be. No place, of course, is a panacea, experienced travelers know; every environment has its strengths and weaknesses, and what we're aware of is that Christina made sure, as we did in conversations with her, that we knew what those aspects were going into the choice we made. So, the villa fit us essentially marvelously: we loved exactly what we knew we'd love, and accepted graciously those smaller aspects of the villa, neighborhood and proximity to the city (Cefalù in our case) we knew we'd simply accept as fine and to which we happily adapted. The point is, we knew the full picture beforehand, and that's great credit to Christina's sharp, able listening and her articulate, thoughtful communications and execution.

We want to add, for discerning travelers like us, as well as for anyone new to travel in Sicily, that the process of searching for and learning what we truly wanted in a villa and, more broadly, from our experiences in Sicily, included intellectual, emotional, financial and spirited dimensions of interest and culture --and our talks with Christina showed she was a great partner in every area of consideration. As we got closer and closer to knowing what would make OUR experience very personally memorable, successful and, well, a thrilling adventure, Christina and her company made all the difference, and we're deeply grateful her kind, considerate, professional leadership. She's the real deal and we recommend Sicily4U in every way.

Excellent, calm, spacious villa. Well kept and beautiful property. All amenities were there, kitchen well-equipped. Children loved the sandy beach nearby and the big yard. Views unbelievable.

We have booked with Sicily4u two years in a row now and can highly recommend them. Their headoffice is Swiss based, but they also have an office in the UK (useful for us) and one in Sicily. We found that the team were really responsive and took their time to answer all our questions. We also thoroughly enjoyed our stay in both locations we ended up renting, one in Cefalu and Modica the following year. When we go back to Sicily we will definitely use them again.

When you love gorgeous (sometimes breathtaking) nature, millenia-old and very complex history, eclectic culture, warm people, good weather, real fresh food, fine natural wines and… some great golf, the southeastern part of Sicily might be one of the best if not the best destination currently available in Europe.
I wanted to share my deep love for the Baroque part of Sicily with some Flemish friends, exploring everything on offer in this part of Sicily from a location not too far away from the two excellent golf courses of the Donnafugata Resort.
Surfing the net we found “Sicily4U” and then “Baglio Campofranco”, on offer for a weekly rental price in the higher regions, but… shared by four couples the daily price per room became rather affordable.
It’s a shame RyanAir only serves Trapani in Sicily from Belgium. It will take you roughly fours hours to drive from Trapani to “Baglio Campofranco”. RyanAir flies to Comiso – just 20km away from the property – from Roma, Pisa and Frankfurt.
“Baglio Campofranco” is a rather big “traditional” farmhouse, some 4km away from the sea at Plaja Grande and Donnalucata. The property looks traditional in shape and style, but has been build from scratch some ten years ago, by the noble owners, on the ruins of an old farmhouse. The property offers some 50 hectares of olive and apricot trees and a panoramic view on the Mediterranean Sea (and the lights of Malta during the night). The property comes with two personnel : young Indian Mitu protects the property, takes care of the grounds and all technical issues. Local Sabina cooks dinner the first night, brings fresh bread every morning and cleans the rooms.
“Baglio Campofranco” is not easy to find when you’ll arrive, but… you’ll meet Mitu at the Shell petrol station of Plaja Grande.
“Baglio Campofranco” offers a huge living area, a rather well equipped kitchen and 5/6 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms remains reserved to the owners of the property and their stuff and thus won’t be available to guests. When renting this lovely house you’ll get 12 sleeping options : three double (or twin) rooms plus a family suite of 2 + 4. When sharing the property with four couples, the room next to the living area might feel being worth a little less than the three other rooms… !
We stayed at “Baglio Campofranco” around mid-October. We did experience two heavy thunderstorms, but during the night. During the day the temperatures varied from 23 to 26 degrees, just perfect. We had lunch on the patio with view on the swimming pool. We had dinner on the inner court, outside, but under a roof, conveniently situated next to the kitchen.
Apart from playing some golf, we did visit the lovely Baroque cities of Ragusa, Modica and Scicli, went as far as Siracusa and Caltagirone. We had dinner at the amazingly simply but great “Sakalleo” restaurant in Scoglitti and in the more refined “Accursio Ristorante” in Modica. Most of the nights we cooked dinner ourselves, buying fresher than fresh seafood at the little port of Donnalucata, vegetables and fruit in a small shop nearby and all the rest in the supermercato in Marina di Ragusa. Obviously we tasted all the great Sicilian wines, COS, Arianna Occhipinti and Tenuta del Nanfro from the local “Cerasuolo di Vittoria” DOCG and Vino di Anna, Graci, Terre Nere and Ciro Biondi from the elegant Burgundy-style Etna DOC. We never paid more than 40 Euro for a great bottle of wine in any of the excellent restaurants… !
I love Sicily, the Province of Ragusa and “Baglio Campofranco”.
My travel companions could only come up with some minor comments : the quality of mattresses and cushions could be slightly better (= in line with the overall quality of the property), the wifi/internet is a bit slow and the smell from a nearby chicken manure plant sometimes reaches the property…
