Lack of Accessibility Awareness and Poor Customer Service
I paid for next-day delivery, which was not provided. The parcel did not arrive on the agreed day, breaching the service promised.
The following day, APC marked the delivery as “failed” despite the door being answered immediately on multiple occasions, with no driver present. This raises serious concerns about the accuracy of their delivery records.
Communication from the company was poor and inconsistent. I was repeatedly assured the parcel would be delivered that afternoon, yet it never arrived. APC later stated the driver was two roads away with only two deliveries remaining, then became completely unreachable.
As a disabled and neurodivergent customer, I experienced significant physical and emotional distress. I was forced to travel to and remain at the delivery address for hours due to the uncertainty. Despite clearly communicating my distress, no reasonable adjustments, safeguarding response, or appropriate escalation were offered.
I was also advised to visit a depot that no longer exists, resulting in additional cost, and received a casual sales email while my complaint was ongoing, demonstrating a lack of awareness and sensitivity.
Overall, this was an extremely distressing experience marked by poor communication, unreliable delivery, and a lack of care.
