I worked in a Renault Garage when I first left school for 3 years 1986-89 when the phase 1 Renault 5 GT Turbo was first realised so the 5GTT was you might say my first love

Id like to say a special thanks to Harry even unwell he still did what I asked more pics and a video of the car running which gave me the confidence to outbid everyone else

Promised me a telephone bid, fully registered , the call never came despite me double checking the day before - dont rely on them . Always best bid live - shame as I was prepared to bid more than the car went for ,hey ho

Put three bikes in at Old Warden. Talked to Mark and then Maria came round to photograph the bikes and put a value against each one. I delivered to site myself and that was straightforward, auction went fine and a couple of weeks later the funds dropped into my account. It's a process that worked perfectly for me, just get the vehicle(s) in early doors and be patient.

Very happy with the service provided by Maria and colleagues at Iconic Auctions in selling my 1953 AJS at auction. It achieved their recommended reserve price and the money was in my account 10 days later as promised. A professional, friendly and smooth process throughout.

As always (have used Iconic before under the name of Classic Car Auctions) Gary and the team perform an excellent job of taking care of the customer, from initial contact, through to the auction itself and subsequent paperwork, all handled with efficiency.

We recently entrusted the sale of our four classic cars to Iconic, and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish.

From the outset, their advice was clear, realistic, and clearly based on strong market knowledge. A special mention must go to Stacey, who was outstanding throughout the entire process. She guided us every step of the way, offering reassurance, practical recommendations, and seamlessly arranging anything that needed to be done. We genuinely felt supported and in very capable hands.

Communication was excellent, particularly during the auction itself. We were kept fully informed at key moments, which gave us confidence that everything possible was being done to achieve the best outcome.

We went into the process with a figure in mind, and thanks to their expert guidance, we achieved that, after all costs and fees, which speaks volumes about the accuracy of their advice and their professionalism.

We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering selling vehicles at auction.

Trustworthy, and transparent

Charles had great communication though out the time before, during and after the sale

Service was very good with the sale and collection very smooth. Problems that I have is that the details in the logbook do not match the vehicle.
The chassis plate does not match the logbook, an S should be a 5
And the engine swap hasn't been changed in the logbook. The engine identification plate is missing from the replacement engine.
I would have expected this sort of detail to have been checked so overall a bit disappointing

The car I bought wasn't registered on the DVLA site and the old log book was the only record of the car, the person I dealt with wanted to send this to the DVLA but I wanted to keep it as part of the vehicle history, a friend new a member of staff who arranged it for me to keep and copies were taken for your records, so all worked out fine

Easy to deal with and very good promotion and presentation of the cars overall.

I had an excellent experience buying a car via the online auction.

Jack was prompt in responding to my queries pre and post auction.

It was the first time that I had sold a classic car at auction and therefore I was unsure of what to expect.

I had previously contacted one of the other major classic car auctioneers, but the terms of sale seemed to be heavily loaded in their favour and they showed no flexibility or interest to work with me or to consider my requirments and expectations with regards to the sale.

With this in mind I was feeling cautious at the prospect of contacting another auction house.

However, after an initial email to Iconic Auctions I was contacted by Alex Lucocq, one of their Car Specialist's.

Alex was very pleasant and professional to deal with and he worked with me to arrive at a position that both parties were happy with.

He kept me constantly informed about the whole process and always called me back when he said he would.

He was also there on the day of the auction and advised me right up until the hammer dropped, concluding a successful sale.

I would certianly recommend anyone to contact Iconic Auctioneers and I may in fact be using them again later on in the year to selll my other classic car.

A really smooth, professional transaction - cannot recommend highly enough. The service I received from Gary Dunne and the team was exceptional - I will definitely use again!

A great experience all round, made better than you could ever imagine from such a big organisation, by one employee in particular Charles Smalley who listened to all my concerns putting my mind at rest, his Classic Car knowledge was second to none, I think gleaned from 35 years as a professional in this trade.
At one point in our telephone conversation he offered a saw it through to contact the vendor so time after my winning bid and funds had been paid.
Thank you Iconic Auctions for finding and employing Charles a great ambassador for the company, it’s my opinion he’d be very hard to replace.
