Silverstone fitted solar panels for us in 2013 and did quite a good job. Since then, I believe the company went through changes. One or two warrenty issues have arisen, and their approach is to be as unhelpful as possible. On ringing, the standard reply is that the person you need has just left their desk but will ring back as soon as possible. The return call never comes. If you ring again, they do the same thing. I did eventually manage to get them to send an engineer who had no idea what was wrong, but thought the Solic might be misfunctioning. He took it away for testing, but I discovered four months later it had not been tested or returned to the manufacturer. The manufacturer disowned them. Eventually I bought a new unit and got another comnpany to fit it. The same thing happened again when the inverter malfunctioned - they promised return calls that never came. I have now abandoned any warrenties still in place and would not waste my time ringing them.

I have been contacting Silverstone every week for for 5 weeks in order to book an appointment to take a look at my solar panels. They promise a call back but this never occurs. The only reason I persevered was that they were recommended. Gone elsewhere appointment book in 5 minutes. Would not touch this lot.
