Without having to self promote, one can get to the opinions and ideas of others, without being caught up in image or issues of rank or pecking order..SW is my sole platform..

My experience with this app and website is good. I have chatted with people on here. Some are good and some are different which is good too.

I got harrased by an user who goes by the rubysoo, something like that, I reported this 5 times, his or her account is still up, despite he/shes behaviour. I have screenshots to prove it !

Found it to be insightful and very well run. The best around. Sign up you will not be sorry🙂

Great place to browse on find like minded people on a wide array of forums to choose from. Like any other type social media, not everyone is perfect but overall the people are friendly & supportive

Not a good app at all as there is no support from moderators. I have asked for assistance numerous times and never recieved it. They are very biased, racist and prejudice. The content is highly sexual which isn't suitable for teens. Also, a lot of spam and hackers I've had to block atleast 30 from the start of my account. I have since deactivated my account and moved to quora instead. Better engagement and moderation

It's not the company that needs improvement as much as the user base. I developed a hate towards those people so I have to keep taking leaves instead of spewing on them.
So many pretentious, hypocritical, judgmental prima donna's. Then you have the fake over positive and those who use "kindness" like a strategy to be liked. You can tell it's manipulative using flattery to be thought well of. Then the middle age and older who behave like they are 15, what is wrong with them, mental illness? The most boring bunch I've ever encountered. The site has a mega amount of potential but what is it with these people I want to know....... ETA: I can't directly reply to the SW response. But I wish to THANK YOU for the honest and nice reply! Appreciate that. Guess I'll have to start reporting more.

Since I've been on such worlds for a few months, the other websites I used to visit have been totally supplanted. The fact that it promotes genuine interactions is what I value most. Making real connections here is simple; you don't feel like a random number in a huge throng. The community is lively and encourages sharing, learning, and enjoyment in addition to posting.

Zero technical support for issues on the site even when you approach the admin team with evidence. All tickets are closed arbitrarily without even the slightest attempt at investigation. Rude and unhelpful.

Edit: due to the fact the admin responded. Thank you for taking the time to respond. However I would please suggest that if you cannot be truthful then the best option is to say nothing.

I was told about this Similarworlds site by a friend I found on Reddit last years, we were both on EP before it stopped. I don't join straight away but watched him use the sites a few time when I was over at his place. Looked OK is I tried it, 9 months later I stopped logging in. It's like a gang land attack every time you reply to a question. It doesn't take long to work out there are packs or groups of which target users that are different or want to disagree. The Moderators will not do much to control these users as they bring drama to a very dull site. I did make a very friends but most have left SW now or as I found out last week, were suspended, for what I don't know. They were the funniest & most friendly I had interacted with but didn't take crap from the gangs & never backed down to the gangs harrassment

Ya know, this web site could be fantastic! But it's such a major disappointment due to the members behavior. Admins are helpful fo sho though.

But you want to talk about extreme militant mental illness, look no further than the threads that continue on for days and fercking days vilifying and shaming other members who have left and are now accused of being pretenders or catfish. On and on about how and what those other members did. Virtue signaling and self righteous pri*ks. Those members that bad mouth playing judge and jury are the ones who need serious counseling. They need get a life! The biggest drama queen to live with the tattooed eyebrows, is an instigator on every thread concerning this. I want the site to do better but it is only as good as it's members and in that department it is a 1 rating. Admin get a 3.

Who goes by the name Emiliya, who I am convinced is actually a male and a p**o, so if anyone joins SW, beware of this user because they are very disturbing. SW admins suspended a bunch of their alt accounts, and he or she was issued a warning on the Emiliya account. SW needs to limit how many accounts someone can have, and they also need to take stalking and harassment cases more seriously. Update: They were rated 1 star at first, but I've now raised it to 3 stars as they did make an effort to assist.

I reported bugs 24/7 to admin, they made a new member into a website helper.

• fearures a few games, gift sharing, they mentioned paying us for posts, create groups, import profiles.

• The community will ignore you, be indifferent and say "yea... BUT"

• New content is slow

• No replies to about just anything posted except one or two (I have seen members had no commenters or likes on almost every post.)

• Others have also said Admins act like what you said never happened

I had a rough ride in SW. I was on there since 2016 after leaving Ep. Let’s say that on Ep it was much easier finding friends, and people were more open to communicate with me. I’ve met some kind people, and I’ve met some cruel people. I do admit, I wasn’t perfect but no one is. Holding grudges against other people, and pretending to be a friend only to block and be hateful is not me, but others on that site thrive on playing mind games. My friends there are wonderful, and I appreciate them forever. I actually feel like they deserved more attention from me. I left months ago because I felt it was time to leave. Anyway, I wasn’t really liked on the site, but that’s fine. I don’t need to be liked on SW. Let the other stars shine there 🙄😂. Now, I’m on Reddit and enjoying the intelligent discussions with others on there. The only downside about Reddit is the chatting platform isn’t any good. I do not like to add people on my other social media. But, I’ve made great friends as well on that site.I do wish people there the best, and I realize having a good heart is the key to being a better person. Many there belittled and made fun of me, but that’s ok. I wasn’t white enough and they dislike my religion. Many preferred the goons over me. Social media isn’t the best place to be. It’s healthier doing things offline. I don’t need that clutter of online strangers in my mind. Many of my dear Ep friends left that site the first month or never joined. Many of the Sw users blocked me for no reason. Females get jealous of one another, and I was one of the victims. It’s a competition that I never could win. I never needed to win because it was all a joke. I know, I contributed to that site and my posts were interesting and fun, yet many didn’t appreciate me. Many of the boring, lame, fake or pervy posters got complimented and appreciated. I wasn’t fake and silly enough. Many pretended to like me, but I found out that was all a lie. That is the mindset of many people there. Narcissists, fakes, liars, immature middle aged simps, wicked ladies, and so on. I was attacked by the worst of the members. I stayed strong even though I was emotionally abused by the cruelest of the bunch. Anyway, that’s life when you join a site with follow the leader mentality. On Ep, I was way appreciated more and it was wonderful. I loved being in Ep. There was more mature and kind members. There wasn’t any teenage mean girl cliques with their bodyguard simps. I only had an issue with one lady on Ep that bullied me. Anyway, you cannot go on a website filled with strangers with issues, and expect to be treated fairly. Now, I don’t miss being there. I never really belonged on that site. It was my fault for staying there for soo long. 🫥🫥🫥

I always wanted to have more quality friends any way I could find them. But this place is heartbreaking when you see what happens instead. Nobody understands anything above grade school mentality and moreover nobody thinks real communication is something people require to stay human. If I wrote this post on SW I would get savaged for expecting too much. If you want to demonstrate your cynicism and negative view on the world in general you are more than welcome. People will love you. There's not a leftie administration as some have complained here, in fact they permit too much inhuman debasement which ends up looking normal. Social responsibility is marginalized. Caring for what society is really doing to people and the earth...is treated like a strange habit. Human solidarity is not a word understood there. The world is screaming out for it but not on SW. Its all toxic individuality and bad examples at that. No one can see the real news of the world, its treated as egghead irrelevant stuff. Farts and grunts are the usual fare. Very very LOW average IQ. The crudity and general brokenness is painfully palpable. Parents who want to raise responsible and ethical children should shield their high schoolers from this sorry and dangerous place. The other reviews here are as clueless as the site itself.

Similar Worlds is the successor to the Experience Project (if you don't know what that is, look it up). It's not run by the same people, but has the same vibe of freewheeling discussion on any topic under the sun. It's similar to Reddit in that way, but is smaller and less overwhelming. The entire site feels more like a community. It's also anonymous, making it easier to share things that may not be appropriate for people you know personally, as it would be on a site like Facebook.

It's also user-friendly, allowing you to block people or topics you don't want to engage with, and filter posts to weed out fetish or sensitive content if that's important to you. You can also choose to not engage with people above or below a certain age, depending on your own age.

Similar Worlds is unlike any other social network and is worth a look. The only drawback is that it doesn't have an OSX app; all you can do is add a dedicated web link.

Similar worlds would be a good site if it wasn’t for the narcissists and bullies on the site. Many people block you for just having feelings and posting about anything with meaning. I have been blocked by half the site for being real and posting about life issues that have value. They just want me to ask lamé questions like pizza verses hamburgers preference. The members are getting younger and more immature. The older folk aren’t any better with their simping and bitter attitude. A good friend can turn on you anytime without warning. People pretend to be nice just to back stab you after a while. You are called paranoid if you say that you are being cautious about trust. Then if you trust someone and they harass you then no one gives a damn except for a rare few. There are beautiful people on the site as well,but, the snobs and cruel ones outweigh the rest. Admin is fine and helpful but they have no control over the people that are just plain heartless. Many people on that site are plain toxic and should be avoided at all costs. They caused me severe mental distress. I wish I never knew they existed.
