SW is safe, secure and excellent! There are always some idiotic and nasty people on social media platforms but on SW the vast majority are decent, respectful and intelligent. It's a simple and enjoyable, and in some respects therapeutic, excellent way to connect anonymously with others who share your interests. Like its predecessor, Experience Project, SW excels at bringing together people who understand each other through their shared experiences.

The go to site for people who think the way you do. Where it is easy to find friends. forget your user details easy just enter what you know and a link is sent to your e-mail address, so easy, sit down and read what you want.

Similar Worlds is a very good website, I had positive experiences during my time there. The staff is quite friendly, and I had great interactions with other users.

The website is an open forum where you can post experiences and views and join groups with likeminded people. The Admin are active in taking steps to improve the site and to deal with people who breach rules.

The problem is not the site, but what people choose to use it for. This it has been home to political trolling from both sides of American politics, people using Covid stats like an Olympics medal table and celebrating deaths in areas they don’t like. On the whole the content is provocative and spiteful. No site rules are being broken, but the activity is pretty bad for you. If debate and conflict is your thing you will enjoy it, but others will find the posts distasteful.

Horrible, nasty site. Full of sanctimonious and uninteresting people addicted to big noting themselves. They make the site too unpleasant to enjoy the nicer people.

Compared to most social media websites, this place is friendly and often feels like home. It is well-monitored, users are listened to , it doesn't feel like decisions are taken by mere algorithms.

It's actually a really lovely website. It feels like family. And very easy to use. And sadly some sad people use it but the organizers are on hand and quickly sort out problems. They listen to complaints and sort them out quickly. It makes me feel safe.

Love that I be myself on here and talk to people about things that I couldn't talk to my friends and family about

its a decent social app. Not like Experience project. Well in the terms of certain things. It is certainly not as popular as EP but it brought over a bunch of the things that you could do on the former site. Its not a complete copy but its good enough. Overall its a good site that i like coming back too.

I enjoy being on SW a lot of my old friends from EP are there and I`ve made some new friends on SW. There are days when the dingbats take over but that`s no different than any other social media site.

I missed the experience proected but am getting used to this site.

It is good that there are numerous groups to join.

I love SW it's the only site I spend much of my time. I can be burnt out sometimes, but go back after few days. There's no sight that comes closer to SW, but SW itself.

I was with Experience Project I'm not sure what the reason was for them closing but they told me about this place I've met some from EP here on Similar Worlds. Is not a dating site but you could find someone here I bet. I love it. The people for the most part are accepting of all others you can tell your darkest secret here and there's a chance someone knows the feeling. I'm 67 and sometimes if discussing politics for example the youngest will tell me I got dementia for my views but that's about as tough as it gets here. Besides the child was barely in the adult arena talking politics. Meaning I didn't give her 18 year old self much credit since she was really repeating her parents or someone a little older. But that's the fun of it. Some are way serious then you have comedians like me with one fourth of Rodney Dangerfield one liners and one thousandth of his delivery.
It's understandable. Stop by get you an account they ask for an email address then sex age location that's about it you can leave most stuff blank. Anyway enter and watch the parts from your home page and I guarantee something will pop up that you can't help but comment or ask about our age disagree a lot of funny stuff and shoulders to cry on and experiences shared it has people from all over the globe tuning in telling their stories and life in their village. Tired of your phone games just click on and play human games lol.

SW is much better than any other social media platforms.

I absolutely love Similar Worlds. You have freedom to express yourself and I have met some really great and interesting people. They have a couple of great features too. As with anything tere will be some people who offend or annoy you. Similar Worlds has a block feature which allows you not to have to deal with them. It also allows you to post nude photos if you so choose but they have to be marked as nudity and anyone who is offended by that knows ahead of time and can only see it voluntarily.

So i love similar worlds. I use it as a place to anonymously express my emotions and document my writings where they can also be read...
Its a solid, decent wedsite. My only issue isn't a fault of the actual website, but rather people who use it. Sometimes im left wishing that other members wouldn't post such boring posts and writings.

Similarworlds has done good at replacing experience project.
