Absolutely impressive
My family and I visited the Azienda Simonini in the spring of 2022. We booked the "I nostri salumi" tour, which ended with a tasting of products such as prosciutto, coppa, salame felino, which were all fantastic. We found that the prosciutto, at the very least, was much better than any other we have eaten. Booking was very easy, emails were answered very quickly and we were supplied with all the necessary/requested information. We joined other visitors to form a small group of 9 people, which was the perfect group size for the tour and were taken through the entire production process of prosciutto di Parma by the founder's granddaughter, Signorina Lucrezia. She was a great host and guide, did the tour in both Italian and perfect English, knows everything there is to know about the prosciutto di Parma and the family factory she practically grew up in and she took time to answer all questions in detail. Everybody we met, from members of the Simonini family to the employees, was welcoming and friendly. We were absolutely delighted with our visit, left much more knowledgeable than we had arrived and were deeply impressed by the Simonini family and their factory. One can really see, hear, feel and at the end actually taste the passion and care this family and their employees put in their work and the pride they take in it. It was an experience we will never forget.
