As described in my original review posted around 20-07-2025, I had a very negative experience that has led me to warn everyone to avoid this service at all costs. I still have not received my money, or any info about when I might. As you can see from the review, a representative of the service replied very quickly to my review (that clearly described the process I had gone through already) and offered assistance. I contacted support again, did what the reply told me to do, and was told that actually there was nothing else they could do right now. If that was the case, why reply to my review offering more help? I clearly described in it what I had done already, so there is no argument for confusion on their part regarding what had occurred. With that in mind, it is clear the review replies on this website are simply made to make customers feel better, fraudulently trying to convince people that the company "cares." Clearly that is not the case at all, as the reply to mine led to absolutely nothing.
I stand by my original statement - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Submitted an swap from BTC (0.28) to ETH at 8am in the morning and the money coins went missing !! Kept contacting customer support and kept pushing back response time. Requested to cancel swap and not successful. 16 hours have passed and my BTC coins are gone. Highly suspect a scam.
DO NOT USE.

Update (Time in GMT+8):
7/17/2025, 11:50PM: After 10 hours of back and forth and letting me know their "Liquidity partner" has freezed their ETH wallet, they said they will transfer from another wallet to me. As a customer who has over 30,000 USD worth of asset frozen in your wallet, your response sounds very suspicous to me as a scam.
7/18/2025, 00:30AM: They have not transferred the token manaully and asks me to be patient but should be done in couple hours as it's a manual process.
It took you 2 seconds to accept tokens from me but takes hours to transfer me back ? SCAM.
7/18/2025, 06:30AM: They have not transferred and I asked again and they said "They have a lot of requests." Asks me to be patient.
So - all the positive reviews I see on Trust Pilot are FAKE ? You have a lot of requests that are bad and idle ??
You are a SCAM.
7/18/2025, 08:50AM: Again I have not yet seen my coins so I asked for update - now they're telling me ETA 5 hours.
This continued waiting game is a typical SCAM Operation.
DO NOT USE SIMPLESWAP
7/18/2025, 12:10 PM: Still no sign of transfer and no update from Support.
Upon inquiry, I got the following:
"we are still waiting for an update from our senior colleagues."
So your management is unable to do anything or I need to officially file a report with police ?
Your continual scamming is impressive.
Update - I did eventually get my coins exchanged at the rate when the issue was repaired by the vendor.
I did not choose to go back and complain about the rate difference / lost of opportunities. And have upped the start to two. I have no intention to pursue further with them.

Transfered 36 usd of eth to my btc wallet, only received 30 usd even though their homepage said i would receive 36.
And no, i covered the eth gas fees myself, it just showed an inflated rate on their homepage, their actual exchange rate is way lower.
Before sending large amounts, try with a small amount first and see for yourself

I just read the answer of the provider.
So basically what happens with this exchange provider is, instead of exchanging the amount of crypto you send, you have to specify the exact amount, which is hard to exactly predict because of gas frees.
If the arrived amount is not exactly like you specified before, they will take an exchange rate that is 20% lower. Note that I sent immediately after announcing this transfer so this was literally a 20%
Update:
Since simpleswap decides to publish the exact amount and infringe on my privacy, making my wallet publicly searchable I will also be more exact:
The fact is, Simpleswap turned
0.01051575 ETH ($37.66 USD on Jul 17)
To
0.00025952 BTC ($30.59 USD on Jul 17)
Taking a 20% on top of the market spot exchange rate at the time of transfer on the Jul 17.
(Actually rates today have not changed much so use google currency converter)
While falsely advertising a significantly better exchange rate (only ~2% worse of spot exchange rate) that was very close to the market spot rate.
Their reason was that i could not exactly announce the exact amount of eth I would transfer them, causing unexpectedness.
While i did transfer the exact amount, eth gas fees caused the arriving eth to deviate by -0.00009425 ETH (which is nothing) causing Simpleswap to promptly use a 20% worse exchange rate than advertized

I had a swap that got delayed, and at first I was a little worried, but SimpleSwap’s support team stayed in contact with me the whole time. They kept me updated, reassured me it was being handled, and sure enough , the swap went through. I appreciate the communication and the follow-through. Thanks for getting it done! Especially on the weekend.

I attempted to exchange Bitcoin to Solana, and after more than 12 hours, I had encountered only dawdling. They refuse to give you a specific, useful solution and instead either ignore your messages or as already stated resort to dawdling. I strongly advise anyone interested in exchanging their crypto to stay away from this service. Exchange ID: rm3UipCYpn
