Jacob really helped me for A levels by helping me get my grade in chemistry from a C to a high B , I could not have asked for a better tutor as he has helped me get to my desired course of optometry. Jacob's lesson structures really help by linking back content from all over the year and showing how to apply the knowledge really well to questions that sound confusing at first

Fantastic support and teaching. Always gave me a summary follow up on how lesson went. I just left his tutor to it and my son got a 6 at gcse I did no supporting… My son understood things that his school didn’t explain as clearly - it was so nice to leave it to his teacher… thank you!!!

Jacob is an excellent tutor who has helped our daughter to not only improve in Chemistry but increase her confidence in the subject. The lessons were engaging and tailored specifically to her examining board, AQA. Our daughter enjoyed her lessons and found Jacob to be extremely supportive. The lessons were tailored to her needs and planned for her accordingly. We can’t thank Jacob enough for all the encouragement and support he has shown our daughter. Jacob is an amazing teacher !! I went from a gcse grade of 5 to an 8 only in a few months , I’m now continuing to do chemistry for my a-levels and I couldn’t of got here without his help and support and truly effective tuition. From Grade 4 to Grade 9 in Chemistry — Thanks to Jacob!

As a parent, I tried a few tutors for my son last October because he was struggling with chemistry, at a Grade 4. The calculations and concepts felt overwhelming to him, and his confidence was fading.

Then I came across Jacob’s advert and decided to give him a try. After the very first lesson, my son knew Jacob was the tutor he needed.

Jacob’s teaching methods, encouragement, and friendly approach made a huge difference. The interactive online software he uses is engaging and highly effective—a unique, well-thought-out system that helped my son understand how everything fits together. The recorded lessons were invaluable for revision, allowing him to revisit tricky topics at his own pace.

I’m proud to say that my son has now achieved a Grade 9 in chemistry, and I credit this success to Jacob’s dedication and expertise. I wholeheartedly recommend him—worth minute and every penny!

Thanks to Jacob’s resources, I was able to build a strong foundation in A-level Chemistry and then improve even further. His resources are of very high quality, and it is clear he spends a lot of time perfecting them. I only wish I had found Simplified Tuition much earlier. Jacob’s teaching style was tailored to the AQA mark scheme. Everything he taught in lessons came with resources and model answers full of the key words and phrases that examiners expect. The small group setting was new to me, but it turned out to be incredibly helpful.
Jacob’s feedback during lessons was always detailed and specific, which really helped close the gaps in our understanding. Another great benefit was that every session was recorded. If I missed a lesson, I could watch it back and if I had any questions afterwards, I could simply message him.
The platform itself is excellent. It provides both annotated and blank PDF notes as well as recorded sessions covering exam techniques or content, and everything can be searched easily. The A-level Chemistry roadmap covered every single point in the specification, which made revision extremely efficient.

Simplified tutition is an empathetic experience designed to help tailor students personal needs through live lessons, videos and 24/7 chat in case of questions. They even record lessons so that students can retrace their steps and better understand the lesson a second time in case they forgot. Alongside this, simplified tuition is always ten steps ahead and always there for its students. I’d highly recommend students who are struggling with their chemistry to give simplified tuition a try.

Jacob is an excellent tutor and has been a lifesaver for the first year of A Level Chemistry! The step up from GCSE to A level chemistry was quite overwhelming at first, particularly due to the amount of content there is to learn. Jacob did an amazing job at focusing lessons on the most important topics, whilst also ensuring that every corner of the course was covered. I also think that the feedback both in lesson and out was really useful as he was quick to correct mistakes when doing regular exam practice sessions before they became a bigger issue, as well as always giving help for any problems outside of lesson as well. Thanks to the tuition, I have been achieving consistent A's. Overall, I think he has a brilliant teaching method and I would 100% recommend to anyone considering tuition for chemistry! :)

Jacob was recommended to us by another parent, and he definitely delivered beyond our expectations.
We held an informal chat with him at the beginning where he explained what how he conducts his tuitions. He had a chat with my daughter to establish where she was with her Chemistry studies, the exam board and what support she would need.
He spoke professionally and it was easy to tell that he knows his job.
His methods of teaching, including the video lessons and access to his support outside the lesson slots helped my daughter in a massive way. I saw her confidence and interest in Chemistry grow.
She even rated her Chemistry exam as one of the best ones she had written, which surprised me a bit as Chemistry was not one of her best subjects to start with.
Jacob was also sending regular progress updates to me, also asking if I had any concerns that he could address. I valued the feedback a lot as it showed that he was completely committed to making
a difference, supporting my child according to her tailored needs.

Jacob was amazing. My daughter was finding GCSE hard as missed a lot of school due to Covid and she achieved a grade 8 - 2 grade improvement on where ahead was. Great communication, class plan, focused learning and very easy to learn with. Highly professional and organised, he has been the best tutor I have engaged for my children.

Having joined the tuition course quite late, I was shocked on how the lessons deepened my understanding of chemistry- in particular organic chemistry, and how much I picked up in a few lessons
Initially, I used to rely on memorising the difficult parts of the course, but the lessons delivered allowed me to have a thorough understanding ,which allowed me to answer and understand complex questions.

I truly recommend taking part in this tuition course, it’s a small investment for a great return!

Our experience with Simplified Tuition was of the highest standard all round. From initial communication in the beginning and throughout the tutoring. My daughter was not enjoying Chemistry and found it very difficult, at least until she met Jacob. He is an excellent tutor. My daughters confidence was quite low but Jacob put her at complete ease from the outset and she soon started to believe in herself more and to really look forward to their session - looking forward to Chemistry was not something I ever expected to say regarding my daughter! The way Jacob explained things in his clear approach made the subject much easier to understand and quite quickly! The online portal was very easy to use. Everything about Simplified Tuition was a 100% positive experience for us. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Simplified Tuition.

Before finding Simplified Tuition, I felt overwhelmed by a lot of the GCSE chemistry content, but now I feel a lot more confident and less stressed about it. Jacob’s explanations are very simple and always stick in my head so I end up having to do less revision.

Regardless of what you struggle with, he caters specifically to you and gives any revision or exam practice resources I may need which is also really helpful!

Having now miraculously jumped from a grade 5 to 9 by my results day, I’m glad I don’t have to think about how my grade would have ended had I not discovered Simplified Tuition just when I needed it (only a year before sitting my GCSEs!).

I was quite concerned when, during parents’ evening at the beginning of year 11, my daughter’s science teacher claimed that "if she tried extra hard, she may achieve a grade 5 at most”. My child aimed to be accepted into the top grammar sixth form in our county, which would be impossible without a substantially higher grade in chemistry. Then I found Simplified Tuition.

Even though we had already spent some time searching for a particular tutor that would be "just right" for her, Jacob was extremely friendly and supportive with her specific needs allowing them to click from the very beginning. Even within the first few sessions, his individual approach and level of understanding completely changed her attitude to the subject and reignited a genuine enjoyment for chemistry. I honestly don’t know what kind of magic he worked on her, but to her entire school’s surprise she ended up with a grade 9 and got accepted into her dream sixth form. I cannot thank Jacob enough and we would be completely lost without Simplified Tuition.

To anyone who is looking for Chemistry teacher, I have to say Jacob is amazing. I don’t usually write review for anyone unless they are really really good. Jacob was teaching chemistry to my daughter for GCSE this year. She usually criticises teachers of being boring but Jacob managed to get her full attention and make the lessons interesting. She even told me she couldn’t understand a subject and her school teacher couldn’t explain well but the minute Jacob explained she understood. I can’t thank you enough for teaching Chloe.

Simplified Tuition has really helped me with my chemistry a level so much, Jacob was my tutor and he was always very professional and prepared for lessons, while taking input from us the students on our weak areas and always available if I needed to ask a question. Jacob has been tutoring my son for his Chemistry A Level. Over the years we have used different tutors and we both have been very impressed with Jacob:
He takes pride in his work. Has gone over and above in each lesson. Jacob takes time
to plan the lessons towards my son’s need.
All lessons start on time, he is flexible when we have needed to change a time. Has changed this around to meet our requirements.
We have not know of a tutor who has provides so many resources and planning for each lesson. when ever my son has had questions outside of the lesson Jacob has gone out of his way to help . With his support my son felt more confident in his prep for his exams.
We both highly recommend Jacob to support anyone, he takes his time to make sure your child is prepared for their exams. We couldn’t have asked for any more.Will use him again for my youngest child. With Jacob’s support my son went on and achieved an ‘A’ in chemistry which is 3 grades above where he was at the beginning. Which helped him get into his first choice university
