Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I’ve joined GB BJJ club.
I’ve bought gi for £160 and set up direct debit with SimplyCollect, payed for first month. After 4 or five trainings I’ve injured my spine. When I wanted to resign SimplyCollect wants me to pay for thee more months (£150) even I am not able to attend training.
I will not join another business that uses this company. Avoid if possible.

Really enjoying the business, lots of time saved the team is really helpful and pointing me and my business in the right direction. big thumbs up :)

Been using the system for over a year now. The time I'm saving is massive allowing me to spend more time with my clients and getting new ones.

The person on the phone was helpful and helped me get my membership back on track.

I even happy to give below one, if there is a way to provide that rating. This is like you are trapped and they thretten you that you need to pay the amount even if you dont use the service from the company that you sign up. I really fed up. Please think multiple time when you sign up anything that use this company.

£50 to set up the direct debit in the first place, and then when you cancel, they require one month's notice, so they can rob you of an extra months fees.

I will not join another gym that uses this company after I finish with my current gym. Avoid if possible.

Very poor customer service by Leah over the phone. There was certainly a lack of willingness to help. Def will avoid this company at any cost!

People who work them do a great Job and help out so much more than where we were before.

The team have helped me and my business more than i thought they would. I would recommend them not just for the cost saving but the time.

I can only echo the frustrations of previous reviewers.
We cancelled a membership with a martial arts organisation that my daughter went to for several years. We were considering returning to this organisation when my son is a little older as the actual martial arts club was ace. However, having to deal with ‘Simply Collect’ are putting me off as I don’t want them to have my details again.
We cancelled months ago and they continue to keep hounding my wife to ‘contact them urgently’ - I have contacted them twice already!
Don’t know who this company are, or under what law they operate however they are terrible.
If you are having issues with Simply Collect - please rest assured, you’re not alone.

I was in a situation where I needed to spend some time with my family abroad, I emailed them and a kind person rang me to discuss my issues and arranged for the account to be put on hold until I can go back to training.

Sadly, the company does very little to understand or try and comprehend customer situations. Their correspondence is not only poor but when asking genuine questions they fail to not only answer them but will just send generic e-Mails. I cancelled a membership verbally over the phone with a colleague of this company, at a gym I’d no longer be using. Yet they still hounded me for charges. When emailing a particular person they not only failed to answer, but another reminder was sent a month later while adding a charge. They perform their function to the T. Simply collect money - albeit with zero customer service or compassion.

Rip off merchants! Contract says minimum period is 5 direct debit payments. I have made 6 direct debit payments and they are trying make me pay at 7th direct debit payment before I can cancel. I was only cancelling contract because I'm struggling with the cost of living going up and now they are trying to rob me some more.

Disappointing experience my payment was late as they took it on a different date but they were very unhelpful and I asked for a manager and no one called back. My sons dad had just died but they refused to help. unprofessional

Yasmin is polite and professional, always at hand with support and extremely attentive in dealing with all customer service requests.

We've been using Simply Collect for a couple of years now and have been very happy with our experience, as a Club. Tamzin is always available to answer any of my queries and fix any issues that may have arisen. They have also shown a lot of flexibility and a quick turn around in options for club members during Covid to accommodate for our club members. Will definitely recommend them to other club owners!
