I am the main carer for my wife and SHS come in three times a day to assist us. They are all polite and caring. The office is always available and sort things out quickly. When I first started I was worried about costs but they talked me through different options and felt that they actually cared didn’t just want the money. There has recently been a lot of changes to the staff team which has made it more streamlined and the carers have commented it’s a nicer place to work. We could ask for better. We are very happy with the service.

We first started with this company in 2019. The company has been through many up and downs. In 2022, Aimee started at the company as I think a senior carer. She started building up trust with ourselves and our son and we have never trusted anyone more. Aimee has changed our lives for the better with the trust and care she has for our son. She is now managing director and the company has never been better. The trust we have for the whole team is amazing. Each one of them care for our son like there his family. We have not got a family but Aimee and Michelle definitly feel like second family to us. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They get cover for extra help at short notice and never make us feel like an inconvenience. Since they have took over there has been major changes to the staff team which is clearly for the better. I couldn't fault this company in anyway, they have changed our lives.

Always lovely people same carers all the time good for my wife and support me whilst she has dementia. The office is easily contactable and understanding. The girls say how much management support them. Would recommend highly

AVOID AT ALL COST. It is run by mother and daughter with no HR department or anywhere staff to go if you have any problems .
The mother is very toxic and plays staff off against each over .
They never go out to visit clients , they have their favorites clients who they prioritise over all other clients , client care plans are incorrect and most have not been updated in well over 12 months , problems with clients are dismissed which is proven as the company was put on by CQC from taken on any new clients due to not taking action when problems were raised by concerned staff . This company is not a care company it is just a means of making money for its GREEDY owners .

Underpaid and Poor Management

Having worked for Simply Helping Gippsland South & West for several years, I would strongly avoid at all costs. I was grossly underpaid from the start all overtime was paid at ordinary hours rates. This was brought to the attention of the Operations and business development manager where it was hand balled over to HR and after over; months of trying to get the issue resolved with The Simply team, Fair Work, the ATO and Simply's alleged Accountant I was paid a lump sum which is still incorrect and still ongoing with Fair Work. I felt unsupported by the operations and business development manager who l originally reported the discrepancy to. Bullied and intimidated by the Interim General Manager to the point l avoided all contact.
National head office was supportive at first but then I felt like it was put in the too hard basket and more or less let the interim General Manager take back over. All back pay was decided in house by there own team no outside independent Audit was preformed which was a major conflict of interest. I would advise anyone who worked for Simply Gippsland and South west to check that you were on the correct pay point and level and hours worked over 76 hours per fortnight were paid as overtime if not you have 6 years through Fair Work to make a claim for any back pay owing to you and can speak to them directly, everyone deserves to be paid correctly for the work they do. In the end I choose to leave for my own mental health and well being and seek employment where I will be paid correctly and legally.

ABSOLUTLY UNRELIABLE DONT SHOW UP RING U WHEN ITS TO LATE TO GET A REPLACEMENT IME GOING TO LOOK FOR A RELIABLE COMPANY THIS ONE IS USELESS AND CRAP

A lovely, very helpful company who strive to provide an attentive care service. In our case they took over care of my Mum following a stint in hospital and they have been invaluable in giving us peace of mind. The Carers are all friendly and the Care Coordinator is easily contactable and very responsive.

The team are great and I would recommend them.

Lovely, friendly, caring, efficient, people. Contacting the office is easy and uncomplicated.

SHS is very responsive to trying to meet their clients needs. The office is easy to contact and the carers we’ve had have all been very caring and efficient.
