While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Stressful harassment, unwanted companies and emails

This is the final email I sent. I think it says it all.
Please cancel this membership immediately.

I have lost count of the times I have contacted you because of harassment from neighbouring sites, constant emails when I have
unsubscribed etc. And I am STILL getting them. I wish to cancel, but going through your cancellation process is the most
long winded and convoluted process I have literally ever experienced. Who asks for the last 4 digits of a card before cancelling
a subscription? No one. And my cards have both changed since joining so I have no idea which number you need. How convenient
that you don’t recognise the ones I gave you.

I wouldn’t mind if it were a good site but it is beyond crap. No offence.

And I can only contact you through this email because of the complaints I’ve made before. Saying “contact us Monday to Friday” and
giving nowhere to contact you at - another way to try and keep memberships going desperately. Why not just make it a good site, and
then you wouldn’t have to try to hang on to people with gritted teeth. You could just let them go like they do at Match and all the proper sites.

Please confirm that my membership is cancelled and my details have been obliterated from yours and any other site you are connected to.
I confirm that I do not wish to receive a single marketing email from any of you again. This is my right within GDPR guidelines. Please
follow the law and respect my wishes.
