Absolutely horrific

Absolutely horrific!
In a space of an hour and half we only managed to get 2 drinks. Managers were awful to deal with, rude and aggressive. Tried to email asking for a refund and they was a nightmare to deal with and still waiting for our money back. It was suppose to be for a birthday, we got promised live music which didn’t happen. Food got taken away without asking. Just overall rubbish

Terrible experience at Fleets Sin Till Late

My recent visit to Sin Till Late at Fleet which was frankly unacceptable.

The booking process was great and MIA was very attentive, however when I came to handling a complaint they were no where to be seen!

The drinks served were clearly watered down to the point where we left sober. Charging full price for diluted drinks is dishonest and shows a lack of respect for customers.

To make matters worse, the food was of extremely poor quality. All 8 of us sent food back. The fish and chips were definitely oven prepared food and was badly cooked, lacked flavour, and should not have been served at all. It was nowhere near the standard expected from a venue that presents itself as a late-night brunch.

The manager of fleets was an absolute disgrace, his customer service was 0/10. They gave us the wrong bill and added extras on to it as if we wouldn’t notice!

I honestly wouldn’t waste your time going to a sin till late brunch especially at Fleets.

DONT GO HERE

I am writing to formally complain about my recent visit to Sin Till Late at Fleet Comprehensive, which was completely unacceptable from start to finish.

The drinks served were clearly watered down yet charged at full price, which is misleading and insulting to customers. The music was poor quality and badly selected, creating a disappointing atmosphere for what is supposed to be a late-night venue.

The food was equally unacceptable. The oven-prepared food was badly cooked, tasteless, and should not have been served. It was far below any reasonable standard.

What made the situation worse was the behaviour of the manager on duty. When these issues were raised, the manager was rude, dismissive, and openly laughed in our faces instead of addressing the concerns professionally. This level of behaviour is completely unacceptable in any customer-facing role and showed a total lack of respect.

Overall, the experience felt careless, unprofessional, and not worth the money spent. I will not be returning unless serious improvements are made, particularly regarding management conduct and overall standards.

I expect this complaint to be taken seriously and would like to know what actions will be taken to address these issues.

Extremely disappointed with our recent…

Extremely disappointed with our recent Sintillate night brunch experience.

The venue was changed last minute, the service was disorganised, drinks were heavily delayed, and food service was unacceptable. We waited over two hours for mains that never arrived and were then asked to leave when the brunch ended.

There was clear understaffing, acknowledged by the bartenders themselves, and poor coordination between Sintillate staff and venue management. One guest was even pressured into making a payment despite the service failures.

This was booked as a birthday celebration and completely missed the mark. Based on this experience, I would not book again.

Misleading

Misleading, Inflexible and Money-Grabbing – Avoid at All Costs

We didn’t even attend the brunch – and honestly, we’re glad we didn’t. This place showed one menu online when we booked, then quietly changed it afterwards after we questioned it and was advised this was incorrect. When we realised, we immediately got in touch because the updated options were completely unappealing and not what we signed up for.

Instead of taking accountability for their misleading advertising, they tried to charge us a £10 per person change fee – despite the fact they were the ones who changed the deal. They then offered to reduce it to £5, before going back on that as well and refusing to change or cancel anything. Zero consistency and even less customer care.

To top it off, my friend became unwell before the day, so neither of us could attend. We informed them, but they still refused to help or even offer a gesture of goodwill. No empathy, no flexibility, just a blatant attempt to keep our money regardless of the circumstances.

We wasted our time and money on a booking we couldn’t use, for a menu we didn’t agree to, all thanks to poor communication and terrible customer service. Absolutely would not recommend – this place cares more about squeezing money out of people than offering a decent experience. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Bottomless bruch at BSK Stratford

Had a great time as BSK Stratford at the weekend. Food was amazing and decent portion sizes too. Staff were all lovely and drinks were topped up regularly. After brunch we went to the roof top bar which was good fun. A great day out and a well spent £60. Thank you

Better places to go to

One of the worst experiences at such a “popular” brunch.
The staff were rude and unhelpful. We were shouted at for being in the way due to the poor placement of tables, also having a drink pulled out our hand in the dance area due to unclear instructions of not allowing glass in hand while dancing and needing plastic cups that we were only later provided when bottomless time was up, this was a couple of things that were an issue. The service was extremely slow and food was disgraceful for the money.

The brunch at £65 left us with small platters that had stale bread enough to feed one person for a starter (there were six of us) the pasta dish was 10 pieces of pasta that came semi warm.
They took the remaining £45 balance of each of us before we have received our mains. Definitely would not have paid this after once seeing the food.

You can get your moneys worth at a bottomless brunch but this was certainly not the case here or place to spend your money.
I will be making a compliant

Q-Shoreditch

Jack h - This was suppose to be a celebration for my friends birthday , but this brunch from hell , was far from that . It took us 30 minutes to receive our first drink and they had the cheek to ask for the rest of the outstanding balance before we received our first drink . With 45 minutes gone by and only 1 drink served we asked to speak to the manager , the one with the “ Ozzy accent “ was sent over . We complained to her about the slow service and she sent over a bottle of Prosecco as an apology for the wait . How generous of her . There was a looky looky man in the toilet asking for money every 2 minutes because he gave me some tissue to dry my hands . Do not expect this in a nice venue up london . Overall very bad experience and wouldn’t go back

Q Shoreditch - Abysmal

Q Shoreditch - Without a doubt the worst brunch I have attended. Service was abysmal, we had literally zero table service and had to get beers from the bar ourselves which was not allowed but the barman made an exception. They made us pay before our brunch which was a massive red flag, pure greed from the owners knowing that if payment came after they wouldn’t have received full payment. It took 30 minutes for our first drink to arrive, the manager had told us her tables had arrived at the same time hence why we had to wait so long. If a brunch starts at a certain time, of course everyone will arrive at the same time! Over the course of the brunch we had two bottles of Prosecco between 7 and two bottles of Stella each. Food was shocking which we expected, as we had been told this by other people prior. I raised a complaint at the end to the manager in which her response was “sorry I have been busy”. For £65 this was awful value and certainly will not be returning. I’d advise looking elsewhere.

Avoid.

Firstly, although the review is 1 star, there was one positive. Mia, the events manager, is superb. She went above and beyond to facilitate our booking and make sure everything was arranged.

That is the only positive.

If you’d like to spend £60 per person to receive the worst service I have ever experienced, then this is the place for you. The management staff at Brix, London are rude, obnoxious and frankly should not be working in hospitality.

Advice if you wish to use the toilet, don’t. 4 of my 11 guests used the restroom whilst we were eating. We all returned to find all of our food was gone. Baring in mind, we were away from the table for no longer than 5 minutes.

The staff encourage you to leave your seats, dance and enjoy yourselves during the 90 minute window. They probably do this so they can clear your table of all food, when you haven’t even finished.

I spoke to a member of staff regarding this, who to my surprise turned out to be the manager. This man spoke to myself and some of my other guests like dirt on the bottom of his shoe.

His resolution to their mistake was to provide our table with hideous shots and 3 pathetic bowls of chips. However, when you first walk into the venue, you’re given a token for a free shot per guest?

Don’t attempt to ask for money off of the bill, as they will threaten to kick you out and surround you with their security to try and intimidate you.

I would’ve happily walked out at this point without paying. Annoyingly my partner had already settled our part of the bill.

I hope someone senior at this establishment reads this review and realises what an absolute shambles occurred.

Finally I’ll add, this booking was for a birthday celebration. All we celebrated was enjoying a pizza on the way home. At least that wasn’t taken away from us.

Avoid.

Save your money! Go somewhere else

I had brunch at The Fable. From the beginning I said I was a vegan wasn’t drinking. I was told that was ok. The Pea & Shalott Tortellini was sooo tiny you would think it was a starter. When I spoke to the staff about the portion size they weren’t bothered at all. Asking for my mocktail was like they were doing me a special favour.

Do not bother! Shocking customer service

Do not bother. Myself and my friends booked Huckster brunch for my birthday, there was 10 of us in total. A week prior to the brunch I received a whats app message advising due to unforeseen circumstances Huckster have decided to no longer proceed with brunches, and then I was given 2 alternate options of venues. We went with The Fable. Our brunch started at 14:30 for 90 minutes of bottomless, our food we chased twice and was brought out at 16:00 (to add every other table had eaten by this point) - effectively when our bottomless duration ended. When I complained to the staff for the inconvenience caused to my friends and I, I got shouted at by a member of staff calling me rude and saying they will no longer deal with us… the customer service is absolutely appalling. They wouldn’t even bring us any more drinks for when we was finally eating. Then to add when the bill got brought out, it was for 10 people. There was advertisement online that the birthday individual receives a complimentary brunch, hence why we selected the sintillate option. Lastly, I reviewed the bill and they were trying to charge each individual £60, when all of my friends had already paid £20 deposit and only had £40 left to pay on the day. When I voiced this I was told I was lying and nobody has paid a deposit to sintillate and had to get up my email confirmation to be taken seriously. Staff were very rude and cannot take criticism and are not approachable in the slightest. Don’t waste your time girls.

Absolutely appalled by the customer…

Absolutely appalled by the customer care at Sintillate, London! They have completely ignored my emails & it’s impossible to talk to a human.. No response to my voicemails! For the amount paid for the experience you would expect decent customer care.. wouldn’t recommend!! First and last experience for me.

Do not waste your money!

Unfortunately my experience at Sintillate London was very poor. The staff were poorly trained and rather rude. The food was very bad for the price, I was given a cold steak and a very grainy cheesecake that frankly looked like it had just come out of a box. It was sad to see other people complaining and sending food back also. For the money paid, I a expect 5* experience, Sintillate is far from 5*, don’t waste your money!
