Long waits

The siphox portion of collecting thr blood, shipping and packing, and results were great. The fact that I waited nearly 3 weeks for results is terrible and because of that I won't use again.

Hi Madison, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. The extended turnaround you encountered is not reflective of our usual timelines. We did experience temporary lab processing delays during the holiday period, which affected a small number of customers. We’re glad to share that operations have since returned to normal. We appreciate your feedback and hope we’ll have the opportunity to earn back your confidence in the future.

Long wait times for testing materials

Long wait times for testing materials, long wait times for results. Partial results because of not enough sample but only give you $20 towards rest test materials.

Hi Venessa,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. During the holiday season, we experienced longer than usual wait times due to temporary limitations in fulfillment and lab operations that were outside of our direct control. That said, these delays are not reflective of our standard operations, and we have since returned to our usual turnaround timelines.

Regarding sample collection, when a sample volume is insufficient, the lab analyzes what it can from the submitted sample. In these cases, we always offer credit or complimentary replacement kit so you can complete a full retest if desired.

We appreciate your patience and hope everything goes smoothly for you moving forward. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything further we can help with.

I just did our annual blood work for…

I just did our annual blood work for the hospital group I work for and the results showed I was fine. But I have a half dozen symptoms telling me otherwise. Without telling SiPhox Health or Health Institute (Dr. Axe) what the symptoms were, after their blood test their consultation stated all the symptoms I should be feeling - and they were spot on. I highly recommend their program if within your budget.

Not worth the pain if you are Canadian

Really difficult to work with this company if you live in Canada. (They have since stopped business with Canada.) I believe I received three test kits in total, although it may have been four, since I just disposed of an unused one. Every possible mailing problem that could happen, happened. Mailing back with UPS was refused by Staples for the first kit, which consequently spoiled. Not Siphox's fault as Staples, including their manager, insisted it was a "biological sample" which they don't accept. Siphox then sent another kit and a FedEx label. Fedex accepted it, but it took too long to be returned within their system. After numerous messages back and forth, I received another box. I can't remember what happened with that one, only that I had another set-to with Staples after I had tested. I think I gave up at that point. I believe I am still out of pocket for the first box. The Staples is in Duncan, BC and should be avoided like the plague. No one was unpleasant at Siphox and my low rating pertains to the sheer amount of effort it took driving back and forth, messaging and so on. I feel this could have been avoided if they had a system that protected specimens for the five days or whatever that it took to send them via FedEx.

Hi Antonia, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for detailing your experience. We’re truly sorry for the difficulties you encountered with returning your sample and for the amount of time and effort this required on your end.

Our kits include prepaid UPS or FedEx return labels, which must be dropped off at their respective carrier locations. Unfortunately, acceptance and availability can vary by location, and we regret that this led to challenges with local drop-off options and multiple trips on your part.

We appreciate you noting that our team was respectful throughout the process, and we’re sorry that the overall experience fell short. Your feedback is valuable and helps guide improvements moving forward.

Absolute nightmare experience

12/23/2025 Update
i received an email monday 12/22 asking for a phone number and they were wanting to contact me 12/22-12/24. i let them know i was not available 12/24. waited monday for no response. today after a couple hours i decided to get back into the chat to ask if i will be getting resolution today. after going back and forth waiting for 3.5 hours i finally received a phone call. we discussed how the website can be misunderstood and they were going to make changes. they also have had an increase in customers and are currently hiring new staff. offered a replacement test but by this point after waiting so long for a response all i wanted was a refund. they were able to provide that, again offered a new test. i refused. its best if we just part ways. i have since received notice of a refund and was also asked to remove my review. i will not be doing that. i feel thats incredibly dishonest to future customers to never know of my experience. I truly hope this company uses my experience to make some positive changes.

12/20/2025 - my husband has had great experiences with this company and as I was getting ready to try one myself I saw there was a Black Friday sale. maybe that's the first step I went wrong. buying into when there was going to be mass usage of this company due to the great price. I receive my test no problems, do my phone call with someone to help go through the process, great. send it off. later to look and see I have an email where my test had not been registered (which I had already done). found out this company doesn't bother with live customer care so that was fun trying to get ahold of someone to try to manage my test not registering. supposedly they were have a technical issue and later that day they were able to get my test registered. I receive my test results for a hormone panel that online states will test 14 male, 16 female biomarkers, email states "we were unable to process a few markers due to the insufficient amount of serum collected" FEW being a keyword in this. they are credited my account $20, to me that is not how they website promotes the incomplete tests. support claims I'm only missing one biomarker - testosterone. however due to that not being processed there are 5 biomarkers per their website I'm now missing. but support still sits with Im only missing one here's you $20 credit. even their own AI says I should have received a new test. I started a chat looking for answers and was told it was an hour wait for a response. after an hour the chat said it would be 4 hours. 3 hours later the chat changed to be back Monday. THEY DONT WANT TO TALK TO ME NOW?!? so I started an new chat, told AI it was urgent, and wouldn't you know someone was able to answer me right away. was told by that person again I would be only receiving the credit. now currently is supposedly having a manager look into this. Most funny thing about this whole nightmare is on this same review sight there is a review from oct 13,2025 in which siphox replies and states "were sorry to hear about the delays and incomplete results you experienced. in some cases, a sample may not contain enough volume for a full biomarker analysis. when this happens, we promptly send a replacement kit at not charge"
then WHY am I being told I only get a $20 credit. Per a policy not even able to viewed by the consumer.

Hi Nate,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take test accuracy very seriously. Many members have completed real-world, side-by-side comparisons between SiPhox and Quest or Labcorp with strong alignment, and every test we offer is validated in CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited laboratories against venous blood draws.

That said, some degree of variability is unavoidable in laboratory testing. Differences in instruments, reagents, and calibration standards can lead to meaningful variation, particularly for immunoassay-based tests. An accepted ~15% variation can occur even when the same sample is run on the same machine, commonly referred to as the coefficient of variability.

We’ve reached out directly and would like to offer a complimentary retest so we can further investigate your results and determine the root cause. In these cases, we typically recommend collecting samples side by side, and we cover the cost of the retest.

You can find additional details regarding test results inconsistencies in the following article: https://siphoxhealth.com/hub/guides/biomarkers/why-blood-test-results-dont-always-align

Long delays, lost kits

Long delays, lost kits, no company followups on these mistakes. I get that it's hard, especially now, serving Canadian customers as a US-based firm, but I'd have thought that these regulatory and logistical hurdles would have been sorted out well *before* you took customers' money!? The online and app-based tools are good, and the testing results I did manage to get do seem to compare favourably with traditional lab tests here in Canada. The trouble is with the basics of actually getting tests to customers, and then getting them back to the lab. This has been a frustrating experience, from a plucky startup company that I was really rooting for. I wish I could offer a more positive review, I really do.

Update: after the response below, I really do want to emphasize that the app and web-based platforms are great products and suggest a solid development team, and that I want this company to succeed. Perhaps if North American trade and regulatory cooperation ever return to something friendlier to both customers and creative and innovative start-ups, Canadians can once again work with our friends south of the border.

Hi Loren,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry for the delays you've been experiencing. That’s not the level of service we aim to provide.

We value the trust our Canadian customers place in us for a smooth and dependable experience. The constantly changing border and logistics environment has created challenges that impacted our service, and we’re actively working to address them.

We appreciate you noting the quality of the platform and results, and we regret that operational challenges overshadowed your experience. Our team has reached out directly and would welcome the opportunity to address this appropriately.

Unfortunately I did not succeed getting…

Unfortunately I did not succeed getting a blood sample. My sample was just a small blood clot stuck in the collection device and I could not re use it as it is a one time use device.

Hi Claudia,

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that your collection wasn’t successful. While these situations are uncommon, they can occasionally happen for a variety of reasons, including hydration levels, cold temperatures, or natural vasoconstriction.

Each kit includes a backup device to allow for another collection attempt. In addition, we offer complimentary Collection Calls, where one of our Collection Specialists can guide you through the process step by step in real time. If needed, we’re also happy to provide a complimentary replacement kit so you can retry your collection with confidence.

We've reached out directly to support you best as we can.

Sllllllllowwwwww Reporting

The reports, once you get them, are very enlightening. The collection process could NOT be easier. I have tried a few other services, The Siphox collection method is far superior. My biggest issue is with their turnaround time for samples received. The sample you collect is transported overnight, but then you will wait for 2 WEEKS to get any report. If this were a cheap adventure, I'd say that you get what you pay for, but it is FAR from cheap, and so I would expect results quite a bit sooner.

Hi Chip,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you found the reports valuable and the collection process easy but regret the longer-than-expected turnaround time you experienced, and we understand how frustrating that can be.

Under normal circumstances, results are delivered within 3–5 business days from when the sample is received. During that time, the sample is analyzed, approved by the lab director, and reviewed by our team of health experts to generate a personalized report. While there are several steps involved, delays should not extend as long as what you experienced.

This is not representative of our typical timeline, and we’re actively working to ensure results are delivered more consistently and promptly. We’ve also reached out to you directly to address this and make it right.

We appreciate your honest feedback and remain committed to providing a smoother, more dependable experience going forward.

Great way to get lab tests at home but a bit glitchy

The actual lab tests are good and I love the home blood draw system but I feel like they have some work to do before I would fully recommend them. When I initially purchased tests from them, the description of what tests were included with the pack was different in 3 different places (2 screens and then different again on the box I was sent); some items that were listed as included actually required buying an additional pack which was a surprise. For my second set of tests I have had daily early morning texts and email messages saying I did not register a kit I have sent to the lab, but I have not even received the kit yet…I’m on my 4th attempt to get the support team to stop these daily messages with no luck. Shipping is also slow and glitchy, both times I have had automated messages saying it is taking longer than expected for my kits to ship and they are investigating.

I think eventually they will have a great service but their quality control is a bit lacking right now

Update: after seeing this review, the team responded quickly to me by phone and email to resolve the issues I have been having, both with automated messaging and customer service. I really do think they are trying to provide a great service, but still have a few things to iron out. Updated my rating
