Moved my domain names and hosting to Site.EU, very happy with their services, great price and very good support as well.
Moved my existing site to site.eu, had a slight hiccup with some technical DNS stuff, support was quick and we got it solved pretty much right away.
I have created our website with domain registration on site.eu because it had reasonable annual hosting prices compared to the competitors, and it was crucial for our new budget project. The first thing that pleasantly surprised me was the professionally solid and full of additional features admin panel. The second—fast and with a personal approach—human support, which is rare today within widely used AI agent-arranged support services!!! Special personal thanks to Jeroen for not only his quick response but for his simple desire to help me with site migration and useful advice. Well done! Thanks!!!
I initially posted a negative review here regarding their poor technical support. Instead of resolving the issue, Site.eu retaliated against me. Their support team explicitly stated in writing: 'You left us a one-star review... We'd rather not do business with you as we're getting major red flags.'
Immediately after this statement, they terminated my account and revoked access to my control panel, effectively holding my domain name hostage.
This is a textbook example of Retaliatory Service Termination. They punished a paying customer for honest feedback, which is a violation of EU Consumer Protection laws and ICANN policies. I have preserved all chat logs and screenshots as evidence of this illegal behavior.
If you value your data and your domain, stay away. If you complain, they will not fix it—they will delete your account
Great support from Kerryl and Jeroen. My issue was resolved quickly and professionally .
**SCAM ALERT** Ordered a domain, it immediately took my money then told me it had failed and I was "refunded" in credit on their site. When you click "withdraw funds" it opens an email to them.
I haven't yet become a customer of Site.eu hosting, but during my search for a web hosting provider, I came across some positive reviews about them. Since I had never heard of them before, I decided to test their support before making a decision.
Here's what I found:
(1) Their response time was quick, indicating a high level of attentiveness and promptness.
(2) They provided detailed explanations where needed and brief ones where appropriate.
(3) They were very friendly, almost as if I had been an existing or previous customer. I don't know how to describe it exactly, but communicating with them felt natural and easy, without any awkwardness or need for small talk.
Bearing in mind that I'm currently in the process of evaluating multiple web hosting providers simultaneously.
(4) Their responses didn't sound like automated messages, or even a rigid human behind the desk, but rather like genuine humans carefully reading and providing clear, precise, and honest answers.
I would like to reiterate that I haven't become their customer yet, and the scope of this review is limited to their support, genuineness, effectiveness and promptness; I felt that they deserved this positive review reflecting what I experienced.
If I do end up moving to their servers, I will update my review and cover other aspects.
If I do choose another provider, I hope that this positive experience will be helpful to others.
I transferred my .EU domain to site.eu. After the transfer was completed, the expiration date in the EURid registry was 31.5.2025. However, this company deleted my domain 1,5 years before the expiration date. The reason is that they consider the expiration date of the domain to be the end of their billing period. So if you are no longer interested in their services, not only they terminate everything they provide (perfectly fine), but they will also delete the domain from the registry and not care about the expiration date.
Otherwise everything worked, but the way how they handle remaining expiry period was really unpleasant surprise. That's why only 1 star, in such an approach there is a big risk of losing the domain with a little inattention (you just don't expect to delete the domain when the expiration date in the registry is in a year and a half).
