Just returned from a week skiing at Jahorina and a night in the city, tour of the war tunnel and visit to the Olympic bobsleigh track everything exceeded our expectations. From emailing and enquiring through to hotel transfers, booking ski lessons (Voijn was amazing) to sorting our trip to the war tunnel and bobsleigh track, everything was easy and simple and nothing was too much trouble. Our drivers and tour guides were helpful, friendly and accommodating and done everything to ensure we had a great time.
A fab recommendation of a restaurant to eat in the evening with beautiful views of the city.
What a great service you offer with great people - keep up the good work - we will definitely be back. 👍

Brilliant! We had a fantastic trip to jahorina, Ski Sarajevo so helpful from start to finish everything was smooth and exactly what we wanted. I cannot recommend them enough. They responded promptly to any queries, even silly ones. There was somebody waiting for us when we arrived, they took us to our lovely accommodation and Sorted all Our Ski and boot hire. The teachers were fantastic. All of our children were complete beginners and they each progressed extremely well, they are all different personalities and the teachers responded to them and brought the best out in them. We will definitely be back thank you very much for a memorable trip.

We ski’d Jahorinha for a week at Feb half term and went with Ski Sarajevo. The whole experience was very well executed. Comfortable on time transfers. Ski equipment of good quality delivered to our apartment on arrival, fine tuned adjustments made and stress free. Their ski lessons were fantastic quality and value. We really made improvements and the children did too. By the end of the week our 4 yr old was skiing on the mountain on his own. All 3 children really bonded with their instructors and had fun. We would definitely do this again. Five stars from us! Well done Ski Sarajevo!

Having never been to Bosnia before let alone been skiing in the country, we decided to use Ski-Sarajevo ltd, a family run business, to organise our holiday to Jahorina.

In brief the whole trip was seamless from start to finish. Ski-Sarajevo organised our transfers to and from the mountain, as well as recommending and booking our ‘Apartment Hotel Monterra’ which was first class. Even ski hire and passes were organised.

We were treated like long lost friends, with a 5 star service and there was nothing that wasn’t too much bother. Half way through our 5 day stay in Bosnia we decided to do the ‘Sarajevo War Tour’. After a call to the office, the tour was organised without a moment’s hesitation and we had the most fascinating day, finishing off with a visit to Sarajevo old town for a coffee and reflection.

I would whole heartedly recommend Ski-Sarajevo as a company to organise your visit to Bosnia whether it is skiing or something else. Out of interest Ski-Sarajevo Ltd is a part of the Funky Tours Group, a popular tour company for the Balkans region.

The whole process of booking with ski sarajevo was incredibly smooth and efficient. Having never travelled to Bosnia we had a lot of questions, which were all quickly answered by Skender via email.

On arrival at the airport we were greeted by Alem where the 5* service continued. He drove us up to Jahorina, helped us check in to our apartment, get our lift passes and ski hire and made sure we had everything we possibly needed before leaving. 

We showed interest in learning some of Bosnia's history and they kindly organised a tour for us on the Thursday of our holiday through their sister company Funky Tours. I would highly recommend adding this on to your holiday.

We had a great time with Ski Sarajevo during our visit to Jahorina. As beginners, we appreciated the 2-hour session with Davor, our instructor. He was patient and clear, which helped us feel more at ease on the slopes.

The journey to and from Jahorina was smooth, thanks to our driver, Alem. He was punctual, friendly, and approachable, making the trip comfortable. Alem also took the time to answer any questions we had and gave us some interesting insight into life in Bosnia, which added a personal touch to the experience.

The equipment provided was good quality, and the day was well-organized, allowing us to focus on enjoying the experience.

If you’re in Sarajevo and want to try skiing, we recommend Ski Sarajevo. The combination of good instruction, helpful drivers like Alem, and the lovely slopes at Jahorina made it a great experience for us as first-time skiers.

Highly recommend. We used ski Sarajevo ski school for our family of four each morning. Our instructor Branco was really friendly, and supported us all at our different levels of skills. He pitched the lessons perfectly; pushing us just a little out of our comfort zones, whilst constantly building our confidence.

Such a fabulous place to introduce our children to skiing. All of the ski-sarajevo team were exceptional from start to finish. For those people looking for culture and tradition as well as adventure this really is the company and country for you.

A fantastic ski destination with good snow and great runs. State of the art gondolas within walking distance from the hotel. A really well organised and enjoyable 5 days in the mountain resort then a final day/night staying in Sarajevo. Good transfer from the airport, accommodation and food throughout. Our (very large) group had a fantastic time with Ski Sarajevo. Everything was really well organised making the whole trip super easy and extremely enjoyable for us! Great place to go skiing, especially for beginners. Highly recommend.

Had a fantastic trip to Sarajevo and Jahorina with Ski Sarajevo in March. It was very low admin, with transfers and meals all included, and we were lucky with some great snow. Can highly recommend the trip and also the war tunnels tour was well worth it!
If you're an experienced skier I'd recommend trying to take your own gear as the hire equipment isn't world class.

Absolutely loved it! I was hesitant never having skied or snowboarded before but having been with the company for a Sail before, I felt so comfortable. Everything was really well organised, the food was great, the guides that we had were great, as were the tours through the War Tunnels and Sarajevo - and Vlad who hosted us during the week was exceptional (as always!) I could not rave more about this adventure enough. Thank you so much to the amazing crew!

Ski-Sarajevo went out of their way to help out when I emailed them out of the blue to see if they organised any groups to Bosnia, asking an existing group they'd arranged a trip for whether I could join (who very kindly said yes) and then organising for me to eat at the same hotel as the group (tho I stayed in a different hotel nearby that Ski-Sarajevo arranged) and were quick to answer any questions I had. Really good level of customer service, and all the arrangements in place. Definitely recommend using Ski-Sarajevo for any trips out there (and I'd be very willing to say if this was not the case).
As for Bosnia itself (the Jahorina resort where we had 5 days skiing and snowboarding and Sarajevo where we spent a night and a day), I can highly recommend the country and region. Jahorina is not a huge resort in comparison to some of the larger European ones, but it was more than good enough for my 5 days there (and I'm intermediate - advanced level), with good runs, lifts, facilities and in our case loads of fresh snow most days. Sarajevo and the surrounds has an interesting history, the people are friendly and in my experience spoke more than enough English if not pretty fluent, and the prices of most things (including e.g. ski passes, food, hotels etc) were about a third to half that of elsewhere in Europe. I intend to go back to Bosnia maybe even this summer, a great place that I would visit again.

We had a really good time on our ski trip to Bosnia organised by Ski Sarajevo. The trip was really well organised and we had no issues at all. Would highly recommend.

EXCEPTIONAL … I can say no more from booking to getting dropped off at Sarajevo Airport for our flight home the support and help from Graeme and his team was outstanding . Myself my wife and son have just returned from Jahorina having taken the Silver Hotel Package …. and already booked for next feb half term . It is everything one would want from a ski holiday for a family Sun , Snow , Great Food and the odd glass of Kuvano Vino ! Such a relaxed enviroment to enjoy .
Everthing catered for as soon as you get off the plane met at arrivals taken to hotel , sized up for kit and given lift passes.
The fantastic instructors had my 14yr old skiing with confidence in 6 hrs of lessons over 3 days .

I very rarely write reviews but Ski Sarajevo really go above and beyond to ensure their guests have an exceptional time as a very competive price compared to central europe .

Unless you are made of money, skiing in February half term is always about compromise. I have skied in many countries at this time of year, always trying to find value for money coupled with a decent level of skiing, snow and atmosphere…. And I have struggled. This February half term I finally made it to Bosnia and was completely blown away by the variety of skiing, the unbelievable value for money and the unique ambience of this incredibly beautiful country.
The team at Ski Sarajevo could not have been more helpful from start to finish. The level of service and on mountain support meant that every aspect of the holiday, from one on one lessons, ski hire, transfers, restaurant recommendations, flight options even historical tours was taken care of. Local people knew who we were, contacted us in advance and took great pride in showing us the best of this remarkably diverse and beautiful place. Ski Sarajevo’s ski school is staffed with patient professionals who ensured that each member of our mixed ability group progressed over the week and had fun doing so. The exceptionally value of everything meant we were able to enjoy private lessons throughout the week at a fraction of the cost one would expect.
Jahorina mountain, whilst not huge, is kitted out with modern lifts, good snow grooming, traditional restaurants and a wonderful variety of slopes. Despite skiing in the busiest week of their season we never queued for more than a couple of minutes for lifts, drinks…. or tables. Our accommodation was modern, clean and very comfortable and located a couple of minutes walk from the main lift hub.
A day in beautiful Sarajevo with a night in a five star, centrally located, hotel was a massive added bonus to this unforgettable holiday.
I will certainly book again and I cannot thank Graeme and Nikolai enough for looking after us so brilliantly.
