I will never book through them again!!!

After cancelling our Bali in April due to Covid 19, i was told that after taking our cancelation fees from both Skiddoo and Garuda the fees would come to $730 for our 2 tickets, it would take 8 to 10 weeks. I am yet to see a refund for the balance of about $1300 after 15 weeks. I have emailed the, a number of times only to get an automotive reply say they have a high volume of enquiries and I never hear from anyone. They have literally stole our money for a service that we never received!!

Still waiting on my Refund after 10 weeks

My return flights were booked on Nov 19 for travel departing Melbourne on 18/6/20 returning from London on 18/7/20 with Cathay Pacific. With COVID looming I cancelled on 30/3/20 and my initial response to the cancellation confirmation was they said 8-10 business working weeks for refund minus substantial fees. This is way overdue. Now all I get from followup emails are automated responses. No phone calls are being received on the two advertised numbers. Contact with Cathay Pacific shows that my Skidoo booked flights have not actually been cancelled. According to them, my husband's flights booked through a different website have been cancelled but no refund as yet from them either. What the hell is going on?

Absolutely the biggest bunch of thieves…

Absolutely the biggest bunch of thieves in the industry. Got 13 K of my money. Will NOT reply either by phone or email. Contacting the airline only results in being directed back to Skidoo. The worst crooks I have had the misfortune to deal with :( :(

misleading, deceptive company, worst experience ever

This is by far the worst experience I ever had in regard to travel. Booked 2 business class tickets Perth-LA-Perth, airline cancelled the flight. Requested a refund and was advised wrongly by Skiddoo that my tickets were non refundable. It took several weeks till they finally processed our request for a refund with the airline. Our flights were cancelled 19th of March. I received an email from the airline on the 22nd of May that my flights had been refunded to Skiddoo on the 18th of May. After no money appeared in my account, I sent an email to Skiddoo on the 30th of May, demanding my refund. Was told that airline had not refunded money. Attached proof of the airline‘s transaction including bank transfer reference number in another email to Skiddoo. They are now not replying any longer and don‘t answer their phones and still no money in my account!!! This is deceptive, misleading and fraudulent. Never again will I use this OTA again

THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE TO GET ONE STAR HERE!!!!!
I was planning to travel to China from Australia, but due to the COVID-19, I wasn't able to go travel, so I had to cancel the flight.
After all, I have been waiting for the full refund since 29th, January 2020, and I also have a confirmation of the refund email on 28th-29th, January 2020. And this company promised with me to give the refund within 10 weeks.
But it has been more than that and the Singapore airline even referred that they have already processed the refund, but I haven't got anything back, and Skiddoo customer service doesn't even reply to my email and phone calls. I am very irritated about this matter. Please reply to my email as soon as possible, and give me the evidence that you have processed the refund to assure me!!!

DISHONEST, LACK OF INTEGRITY, WILL NEVER USE AGAIN

My flight was cancelled by the airline during covid-19. I was not informed by Skiddoo that the flight was cancelled, until I contacted them a few days before my flight was originally due to depart.
In the past 3 weeks I have had about 30 emails back and forth with the company demanding a refund and to this date they are advising me that it will cost approximately $600 in 'cancellation fees', so I basically won't get any refund. They rely on their customers being ignorant in the law and unable to read terms and conditions.
I could go on and on but there's no need. Most people have already said the same thing below. Service is appalling. I don't even want a credit with this company because I don't trust them as far as I could throw them!

Very dishonest company.
Our flights were cancelled due to Covid19. They would not accept a refund only a credit for the same flight in a later stage. I then called the airline which confirmed they would refund all flights but I need to talk to Skiddo to get the refund. After talking to Skiddo again, they still refused to give a refund. This company has taken my money and most likely received the refund from the airline but does not pass it on to me I am not even able to rescedule that flight in the time frame they set to rebook that flight.
I will never use Skiddo again !!!!

Dishonest company

Our trips got cancelled due to medical condition and I got offered a full refund by Singapore airlines since early March (well before the covid 19 lock down). However this disgusting Skiddoo company got me wait for over 8 weeks and now stop responding to my emails and they don't pick up their phone calls anymore. They don't have a gut to tell me if and
when are they going to pay. They even told me to stop contacting them. I am wondering how many people have falled in their trap.

Skiddoo refused to give a refund

Skiddoo refused to give a refund, even though United airlines were offering refunds. I wrote to NSW fair trading and a week later, a skiddoo officer from overseas, with poor spelling mistakes, said that i was eligible for a refund and said to expect it in 8-10 business weeks.

Not hopeful, but will keep you posted.

No refund and no communication after 4 months

We had to cancel a Flight in the first week of January due to a health issue. We had insurance and yet we still have yet to receive our refund so that we can claim with the insurance company. It is now MAY!!!!! This is absolutely unacceptable. Even given the current situation, our cancellation occurred long before there were any other issues and absolutely should have been resolved by now. I will be referring this to the Better Business Bureau if this is not resolved immediately. My recommendation is that you do not expect any customer service from this company. They are clearly not concerned about the quality of their service. Judging by other reviews, I am not alone and I regret not reading the reviews before we booked.

I'm desperately trying to get through…

I'm desperately trying to get through to Skiddoo, but they keep advising to email, and there is no way to get through on their 1800 or 02 #. I've emailed multiple times as I flight out tomorrow, but getting nowhere. There is conflicting messages in their return acknowledgement email saying that I have to call them and speak to a customer service rep, but the voicemail says email is the only option. Appalling service.

Disgusting customer service

This is by far the worst travel company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I have travelled all over the world and never experienced such disgusting customer service.

The airline changed one of my flights so I called them to see if they could change it. The airline were fine but told me that the travel company would have to contact them.

After spending an hour on hold with Skiddoo they told me that they couldn't change the flight so I called the airline again. And, shock, the airline were fully prepared to change the flight but needed Skiddoo to call them. After another hour and twenty minutes on hold the person at Skiddoo told me that it wasn't possible. I called them out on this and told them that the airline were prepared to make the change at no cost so they needed to sort it out.

After another three back and forth emails Skiddoo told me that all of the economy flights were now sold out so there was nothing they were going to do.

Never have I dealt with such an incompetent and foul company. I will never deal with them again and will recommend that nobody I know does. In the current Covid-19 climate, I hope they go out of business.

This poor excuse of a company doesn't even deserve a star. Due to the corona virus, the department of foreign affairs and smarttraveller advising not to fly they won't even refund part of the flight booking payment, as the airline is still flying. ABSOLUTELY APPAULING!
