Really happy with my experience. Dr Sree is very knowledgeable and created a treatment plan that felt genuinely tailored to my needs. Communication with the entire team was great throughout, and my skin has never looked better. I highly recommend Skindoc.

I never leave reviews, but I came across Skindoc after months, years, of scrawling the internet and going to GPs and trying every possible option to manage my hormonal acne which is a symptom of my PCOS. I’d read on forums that Spironolactone can be helpful to manage multiple symptoms, not just acne, and for me an added benefit is that it has helped me manage my previously crippling PMDD (also a symptom). The prices are reasonable, the turnaround is incredible, I was prescribed within 48 hours, and the support is above and beyond what you would ever get via the NHS. I’ve had my questions answered by a doctor the same day, and been completely reassured about any concerns. Can’t recommend enough.

The whole experience has been very positive. From the start the Doctor and all staff at Skindoc have been extremely helpful. If I ever had a question they were very quick and friendly in their response. I would highly recommend the team if you are thinking of any treatment.

Dr Sreedhar Krishna is a wonderful consultant, very funny and kind and will listen to all concerns.

It's honestly amazing. I just joined a 7-8 month waiting list on the NHS to try and get Spironolactone for my acne, was desperate and decided to try skindoc. So glad I did. I uploaded my photos Sunday night, and it's now Tuesday morning and I've had my case reviewed by a doctor, who ordered a Spironolactone prescription for my acne, and now my medication is being delivered to me by their partner pharmacy for a VERY reasonable price of £20 (including postage fees) for a 3 month course. I'm honestly so impressed with the service and the price. I 10000% recommend skindoc and using their partner pharmacy to anyone looking to skip the NHS waiting queues without forking out thousands on private healthcare.

I haven't got my medication yet, but I will update in a few months whether my acne is any better!

I was in need of a dermatology prescription which I would of had
to wait probably around 2 months for if I went through my GP. I found SkinDoc and saw that a photo consultation was only £65, compared to other dermatology practices charging anywhere from £150-£300.

I submitted my case at 4pm today and my ID was verified, case was reviewed and I was given a prescription all by 8pm! I even had a hiccup with my ID because the photo was a little blurry and even with that delay it still all got done so quickly. They also offer a virtual pharmacy which means you can have this whole service done in the comfort of your own home. 100% recommend this company. Big thanks to Penny and Dr.

Skindoc is an absolutely transformative service that enabled me to get a next day appointment with a dermatologist, after being informed the referral waiting time for Isotretinoin treatment with the NHS was several months.

By the time I'd booked, I'd gone through several months of trialling Spironolactone, which ultimately worsened my acne and made me very unwell. My skin had become so bad, I couldn't conceal it with make-up and it was impacting my sociability, work and totally eroding my self-esteem. I couldn't wait months. I needed a solution ASAP.

So far, I've been amazed by Skindoc. I was able to select a derm based on their experience and specialisms and book a next day virtual consultation off the bat.

Before my first consultation, Dr Natalya Fox had clearly attentively pre-read all of my history, and throughout our video call, she listened and asked a bunch of questions. She explained why my skin reacted to Spiro (based on a medical condition I have) and understood I couldn't tolerate specific side effects (joint discomfort, as I'm a very physically active person), so she offered me a flexible dosage plan based on how my body responds to the drug - important, as Isotretinoin is no joke! It's also worth noting she was exceedingly understanding and kind... I've unfortunately had a couple of experiences with dermatologists in the past who have followed clinical pathways repeatedly that don't work / worsen my skin and microbiome (various topicals, oral antibiotics), despite sharing my history and verbalising my concerns about these pathways. I've also had the unfortunate experience of seeing a derm recently who misdiagnosed the problem and refused to prescribe me the meds I needed... These experiences left me feeling deflated and defeated. Being in the care of Dr Fox has been quite the opposite.

Penny McIlvride (clinic manager & lead admin) has been equally excellent. She's sent clear information about how Skindoc works (virtual appointments, at-home blood tests through partner Forth, delivery of medication through partner Phlo etc.), and she's been quick to resolve any queries I've had on the phone / over email.

At a time when my skin has been the absolute worst in my life, Skindoc and its staff has provided nothing but reassurance, excellence and kindness. I'm already very grateful this service exists, and for all of Dr Fox and Penny's help so far.

I was impressed by how quickly I got a response to my query. I liked the fact that I could upload photos and ask questions without having to pay for a full consultation. The phlo pharmacy was also speedy.

Felt very personal and professional, clear and quick communication and easy process to navigate and order from.

No fussing around, immediately got straight to the point about what would work best for me. Amazing.

I was on the NHS waitlist for almost two years for Roaccutane, and when I did get an appointment they cancelled it a further three times before I decided to look online at private options. That’s when I found Skindoc- if you are debating going down this route, I cannot recommend Skindoc enough. I have a very busy work schedule so being able to do everything from home (even the meds being delivered to your door) was a dream, even someone being on hand to answer any questions you have at any time was amazing! I really feel I got a much better, tailored treatment plan than I ever would if I hadn’t gone private, and Dr Sreedhar made the whole experience so easy, always putting my mind at ease and reassuring me with any questions I may have, whilst being so friendly!
It is on the pricy side, but still one of the best priced and accessible private Derm I could find. I struggled with the finger tip blood test so had to pay a bit more for a clinic one, but this was still very easy and reasonable. It was honestly worth every single penny once I got going and it’s so reassuring to know that I can come back any time if I have any further skin issues down the line. It’s stressful to not be able to rely on the NHS for proper care, but Skindoc took every single worry and stress I had away about cancelled and delayed appointments. I genuinely am over the moon with my experience and my skin has completely cleared after 7 months! :)

Incredible level of service from the team at Skindoc - from the doctors right through to the office staff. They had me fully set up with a three month skin plan within 24 hours of my digital consultation. Really impressed and hopeful for the journey ahead.

After years of back and forth with the GP trying new creams for my teen daughters acne, we finally got REAL help from Skindoc.uk. It was simple process of uploading images, proving her ID, detailing the issue and discussing medical history. Three recommendations were made based off of these (sometimes a video call can be necessary but not in our case) and she opted for the one she had her sights set on at the start - spironolactone. The fee for the referral is very reasonable and the drugs were also very reasonable. We used their recommended online pharmacy. From the very start of the process with Skidoc on a Monday morning, the medication arrived Thursday morning. I am confident these meds are going to give my daughter her confidence back. My only regret is not finding them sooner.
