First of all the treatments are less…
First of all the treatments are less effective than a home laser. I was diligent for 6 months, never missing a session and using all of their products and there was no improvement to my complexion. When I finally decided to end the nonsense and cancelled my membership they continued to bill me and would not return my calls. If I could give them zero stars I would!

Subscriptions you can't get out of
All they want is you to get a membership then you can't cancel for 4 months minimum. Its a scam u see a minimal difference because of the serum they apply for a day and that's about it... I did 2 sessions first one was better than the second one which is supposed to be more powerful but I think dont bother with this business
The reply below doesn't allow me to respond. But I have an update I kept going because im stuck in 4 months contract ...the resurfacing has helped my face tremendously it is now 1 week still see results unlike the other 2 so im glad im starting to see a difference with this one treatment

Response from Lynnfield MA office when…
Response from Lynnfield MA office when I complained about their denial of allowing me to use a gift card for a special service they were advertising.
“Thank you for your feedback. We sent you a text message stating that we were running a promotion for Power Resurfacing treatment for $100. To redeem this offer, clients must purchase the treatment using the link provided in the text message and then book the treatment on our website/app.
You called at 6:45 on you were instructed to purchase the promotional offer online as the text read to purchase then book before it ended. You never ended up purchasing the promotion and got upset when it ended. We unfortunately could not honor it anymore and offered you a $50 Signature Laser facial or a Resurfacing facial for $150 to compensate but you were very rude and hung up on us.
We called you the next day because we spoke with upper management and we wanted to inform you that we had permission to extend the promotion for you. We left you a voicemail and never heard back from you. Based on your behavior towards our staff, we will not be honoring this promotion for you moving forward.”
They lied. They called me back to say the promotion had expired. They offered a different service, not the one that was advertised. The reason I did not pre purchase the service I wanted was because they told me they could “ not find my gift card in the system” and they would call me the next day. I did not want to prepay for something that I wanted to use gift card for that they could not locate. By the way I do have the gift card. The staff member was not knowledgeable about my situation and told me her manager would call next day. They never offered to extend the promotion to me. They offered totally different service. And no one left any voicemail. I have all my voicemails. They also gave me email of district manager Tim Robinson to file complaint. The issue here is the promotion was a good value but when they found out I had gift card they did not want to honor it. I sent two emails to Mr Robinson. He never responded. People, read the reviews and membership carefully. Total scam, dishonest and not rated by Better Business Bureau. I do not see them lasting.

Total scam at Skin Laundry Burlingame
I had a terrible experience at Skin Laundry Burlingame , California on April 17th. I purchased the Skin Resurfacing Duo facial online, but when I showed up, the nurse practitioner decided on her own to do a completely different facial — without discussing it with me first. Then at checkout, they had the nerve to try and charge me for the facial they chose, not the one I actually purchased.
When I asked why I couldn’t receive the treatment I paid for, they casually said, “Oh, you can’t do the Skin Resurfacing Duo on your first visit.” Excuse me? Then why did your website allow me to book and pay for it in the first place? There was a disclaimer about signature facial , not resurfacing !!!
No communication, no accountability, and a total bait-and-switch. This place is a mess. I won’t be returning — and I’d warn anyone thinking about it to think twice.
Unreliable and untrustworthy
I had a microneedling treatment today
I had a microneedling treatment today. My therapist was very nice and accommodating. However I was shocked that no numbing cream was offered. When I challenged my therapist she acknowledged the fact and apologised- stating that the company doesn’t offer it - which she is not agreeing with. It was suggested to purchase my own numbing cream for the next treatment- which seems ludicrous- especially bearing in mind the treatment costs £250

I usually don't write negative reviews, as I find it's often not worth my time. However, the experience I recently had left me in tears. I booked my appointment weeks in advance, and like many of us, I have a very busy work schedule. When we treat ourselves to something special, we expect to be pampered and greeted with kindness.
Unfortunately, I arrived 4 minutes late to my appointment--5 minutes by the time the woman at the front desk finished assisting the previous client. I was informed that I could not receive my service because I was past the grace period. Technically, if 5 minutes is the grace period, wouldn't I still be within the window? I asked the receptionist, but she insisted that the nurse wouldn't be able to see me. I felt she was quite argumentative and made me feel like a burden.
If you are looking for a service that treats you with care and a touch of luxury, this might not be the right place for you. I honestly expressed my surprise at the level of service and the unusual responses I received, mentioning that it wasn't a great way to start a relationship. I inquired about canceling my membership for a full refund, as I hadn't used it yet and wanted to avoid future interactions of this nature. Unfortunately, I was told I would have to pay for three months regardless of whether I used it or not.
I left feeling very upset. It's disheartening to have such an experience. While Skin Laundry has its appeal, I cannot help but compare it to fast-food chains in terms of the service received.
I was so upset with my today experience…
I was so upset with my today experience in Campbell, CA location. I was running 5 mins late because of parking issue. The clinical manager Juliana canceled my appointment and send me away. not sure why she has to be so rude like this, feel like I am begging her for my facial treatment. She even said to me " just be kind." I don't know what that means. I go to get facial treatment, being judge by them daying " I am not kind?" so weird!!!
They are wonderful.
Great first experience.
These guys are fabulous. I was a little apprehensive about having Botox but after a very thorough consultation with a very professional and friendly doctor I can happily say it was a very easy and painless process. The staff were also so friendly and informative and the clinic very clean. Definitely recommend these guys
Impossible to cancel an appointment
Impossible to cancel an appointment. You can only reschedule it and there is no customer service number
It’s a scam people
Absolutely horrible. One of those experiences that sticks out that you think is beyond belief.
And this is for a spa service. Whatever you do stay away from this business don’t fall further marketing and certainly go get your facials and skin care needs met elsewhere.
I visited the store in Lynnfield, Massachusetts and you could see once you got in the treatment room and spoke to the nurse who was going to do the treatment that it was a total scam, they were painfully uneducated and had no experience to be operating such equipment or even safely administer treatments.
And to make matters worse An incredibly rude nurse named Bri who turned out to be a bully interrupting an interfering when I tried to ask questions about the procedure and the process as I was learning that the first session you pay for is not a treatment at all and has no effect on your skin, but it’s rather simply an introduction to their monthly plan service and so you pay in essence for them to sell you a commercial of their services pretty outrageous.
Apparently, the store where the chain is owned by someone in California, and there are no local Massachusetts contacts. I was simply given the email for an Angie Lee and no phone number to speak to a manager about how dangerous this felt, and of course how it is portrayed as a treatment and a medical service but instead you’re supposed to pay for something that is simply a commercial that has no impact on your skin so they can sell you their packages
I plan to place a complaint with the state and never expected to be this dissatisfied nor have this kind of experience.
As the old adage goes, buyer beware and here buyer stay clear this is a super Duper scam like no other

NIKI IS NOT VERY NICE!
I have been a client of Skin Laundry in Houston, TX since October 2023. I was really excited because they offered a complimentary first visit to see if my facial skin issues could be resolved. I had just lost my mother in September of 2022 and it was a year of neglect and I felt that I needed some rejuvenation. Grief literally took the shine out of my face. I was really looking forward to taking care of myself again. I signed up for the $250 per month program and was told that the Power Duo Facial was going to help me. No 100% guarantee. Of course I understood that. On all my forms, I indicated that hyperpigmentation was my main concern.
I had a Power Duo Facial on 10/28/2023 I made my next appt for 11/25/2023 for a second Power Duo Facial.
This procedure isn’t the most pleasant thing you’ll go through. But it was bearable and if it gave me the results I wanted, great.
So, I show up on 11/25 and am told that the machine they use for the Power Duo is not in the facility and is out for repairs. I was asked to get a Power Signature Facial instead. I was really disappointed and told them that they should have called and at least told me!
So, today, 04/03/24, I get a message that my appt for 04/06/24 has to be rescheduled because they DO NOT HAVE THE TIPS FOR THE POWER DUO FACIAL!! Obviously, I am upset. I have paid 6 months of fees but wasn’t able to go in December, January, February, or March. My grief is debilitating. I haven’t been able to acclimatize myself back into my “normal” life. I miss my mom. She was ingrained in every waking second of my life. So, this appointment on 04/06/2024 was a big deal. I’m upset. I respond to the message that I am not happy and it’s the SECOND time that I am not getting the service that I want. I said that I need to be compensated or something. I am the client. I am paying. I am upset. A lady named Niki responds and says that she will speak with me with respect because that is what she does. And that we can talk on the phone the next day. I’m taken aback! Like, what just happened? I responded that I was not disrespectful and that shall I call, or will she ring me? She had me in tears. There was so much back and forth, and I was upset. I did not curse at her but I was petty. She was so patronizing. Is this how they treat their customers? I am spending money to receive a service. And then I’m treated this way. I’m just sad now and do not want anything to do with this company. I will live with the dark spots. I want to cancel my membership. I will not go back. What happened to customer service?

RACISM
Back in October last year I was treated despicably by an employee called Nicki at Skin Laundry in Hampstead (reported immediately to management as 'racism' and 'discrimination'). Even after countless emails, (some of which went through Odeta who is the Clinic Manager in Soho) the ball was never picked up let alone dropped. My experience was never investigated and no one in the business decided to take it seriously. This obviously speaks volumes about why I received that kind of treatment in the first place. In addition to that, after a handful of laser treatments my skin was the worst it had ever been in my life. Finally, there definitely needs to be better pre-consultation advice before treatment, tailored to each individual customer, instead of a one-size fits all approach. The brand / company were way too concerned with getting customers to fill out tonnes of disclaimer paperwork and contracts instead of tailoring laser to their skin type / problem etc. It quickly started to feel like a money making scam and the process felt unethical and lacking in transparency at times. Very conveyor belt (one customer in one customer out, make a profit, the end). For obvious reasons, I would never recommend this company to a friend / family member.
Soho was lovely
I’m editing a previous review where I had a bad experience, that was 7 years ago and I was pleasantly surprised this week.
I had a contra indication and this was thoroughly investigated. Treatment itself I changed on the day, they accommodated, I went for the power duo and it wasn’t painful. Just got. After though my face was on fire so be warned and a few days after I still have the grid marks.
I was never pressured into a membership so I might be lucky but I’m guessing that doesn’t happen anymore

STAY AWAY OF THIS COMPANY
LOCATION: NEWSBURY, BOSTON.
They sell the 3 monthly founder service BUT NEVER explain that this is a monthly membership that keeps charging your credit card until you GO to THE SITE TO ASK FOR CANCELLATION which is RIDICULOS you will be paying until you cancel de service. When you ask for a refund since you only agreed for 3 months, they refuse it.
This is a completely cheating way to enroll you as a customer and is ILLEGAL. STAY AWAY OF THIS COMPANY. I'm thinking of taking legal action against this company; also, the contract is a grey area regarding this membership, a very shady business.
Avoid at any cost
I joined Skin Laundry at the beginning of the year when they aggressively promoted their signature laser facial starting at £75. Since other laser treatments were costly, I decided to try it out. After the initial promotion, I became a monthly member, paying £225. Initially, I could visit every week and alternate between treatments covered by my membership. For a few months, I booked weekly laser treatments, but I had to freeze my membership for a while. When I restarted it in May, I discovered the terms had changed. I was still paying £225, but now I needed credits to proceed with treatments. There was no email notification; I was only told about it by the receptionist, so was quite taken aback how things were negatively changing. However, I thought that they have too many clients, so they are reducing all the privileges from the beginning of the year.
I was unsure about my credit balance, relying on the receptionists checking their system. On September 10th, after a dual treatment, I asked when I'd have enough credits for the next one. The receptionist scheduled me for 22nd of October as my next appointment for dual treatment. She suggested that I should choose another membership which was above 300£ per month, so I wouldn’t have to worry about the credits. I said that I can’t pay more at this time. I had the treatment on the 22nd October without any issues. Afterward, I received a text from Skin Laundry stating I had exceeded my credits and owed extra fees. I contested this, explaining my membership covered it, but they claimed the treatment cost £700. Frustrated, I called it a scam and extortion, mentioning my prior confirmation with the receptionist. Today, I received a text canceling my membership and pending treatments.
The treatment personnel were friendly, but the reception staff was rude, arrogant
and disrespectful. They seemingly were trying to extract money with unfair tactics. I believe this company's practices warrant investigation, as they fall far from expected norms. Don’t waste your money, the facials are not even that good. There are plenty of other places where people will treat you with respect and kindness for the money you are spending.
One of the worst facial salon
One of the worst facial salon. Staff is rude and they don’t explain the process of each facial. The down time is not explained and the treatment is painful. I left the salon on each visit feeling really ugly.
