ALWAYS out of stock, put other retailers ahead of their own customers and brand
When I first stumbled on Skinny's mixer range in December 2024 I left a glowing review. I felt like I'd found the holy grail - a zero calorie mixer brand that used natural sweeteners (stevia), and tasted great. They had a customer for life.
Since then, tumbleweed. Empty shelves. Month after month of empty shelves. Whenever you go on their website or search online you get big OUT OF STOCK or SOLD OUT messages for most of their range. The ones I like to buy - Ginger Ale and Indian Tonic - are ALWAYS out of stock. They've not been in stock ONCE in the entire year. Or if they have, you'd need to be sitting on their website 24/7 365 to get them for the nano-second they came back in stock before disappearing again.
Personally, I don't think they've EVER been back in stock, because I've checked AT LEAST once a month, every month, and have never seen them in stock for a whole year.
When I contacted them (first time in June 2025, after 6 months of empty shelves) they said:
"We have been out of stock on a lot of flavours lately, this is mainly due to high demand and retailer commitments. We will be producing more Skinny Tonic flavours from mid-July and we will update our channels accordingly."
Great, I thought, roll on July. But a part of me wondered, what 'retailer commitments' meant. I could understand how they might be in high demand, but I'd never seen them for sale in any high street store or supermarket, so as far as I could tell they were an online only brand. So what did 'retailer commitments' mean?
Also what did 'update our channels accordingly' mean? They'd let me know? Or just take down the SOLD OUT sign if I happened to be on their website in the middle of the night? I wish these people would learn to write and speak in plain English, not 21st Century techno-babble.
Hey ho, July came, and went. So did August. Still nothing.
I emailed them again in September asking what happened to the July promise, and actually if they were still in business. They replied saying:
"Unfortunately, as we manufacture our own products, as well as other products for retailers, we have to wait to produce our own brands. We are definitely still in business... however, there will be a delay in getting the remaining Skinny flavours produced..." apologies for inconvenience etc... "I am hopeful we can re-stock these flavours soon."
That was 2 months ago. They're still out of stock.
So there you have it folks. Despite their assurances to the contrary, they actually don't seem to give a damn about their own customers, or their own brand.
Presumably it's more lucrative to prioritise making products for other retailers. Otherwise why would they commit brand suicide by treating their own customers like dirt?
I guess, it's their business to run, they have shareholders who call the tune and who am I as a humble customer to naysay their baffling strategy.
Well fine, it was nice knowing you Skinny. What I thought was love turned out to be just a one-night stand with a serial cheater. I held off leaving this review for several months in the vain hope that you'd realise your mistake and we'd get back together. Alas, I now see it was me that made the big mistake, thinking you could ever change your ways.
I'm going back to Fever-Tree, who never cheated on me, ever.

I been a customer for years I purchased my last order over a week ago I contacted customer support nothing. Product has been out of stock for many many weeks I tried email, twitter & insta not a word. This smacks of a business in distress or doesn’t give feck about customer coms either way it’s a real shame as the product is beyond good.
Great service and product
When there were issues with my ability to order the team at skinny we’re quick to fix the problem. Once that was fixed I was able to order and get the product in quick time. Very responsive and great product. Thanks.

Delivery and product is great
Delivery and product is great - I just don't recall subscribing to receive a box every month! Must be small print somewhere... Beware
Was told next day delivery
Was told next day delivery, did not arrive until day after, luckily did not need it until day after for a party.
No email or explanation why it didn’t arrive on time stated. Apart from that very good value for money
Amazing service ordered on a Friday…
Amazing service ordered on a Friday delivered on Saturday keep up the good work
Great Tonic, pity about the delivery.
The tonic as ever is great, the problem is with DPD. I received a message at 09.47 telling me it was being delivered. Unfortunately I was on my way to the station, but had left instructions on the DPD app to leave in a safe place in the rear porch. DPD just left it on the front doorstep in full view until we arrived home at 19.00. Perhaps its just a local problem, but would be good if Skinny could use a comment carrier
Always efficient ordering and delivery
Always efficient ordering and delivery. Skinny tonic is still the best tonic I've come across; a perfect mixer. Nice, clean flavour and no sugar and no calories -beat that!
Good flavour drinks
Good flavour drinks without the calories. Fast delivery. Great service.
The only no sugar tonic
Most of the tonic options out there have too much sugar or artificial sweeteners or taste terrible. Skinny make the only tonic I trust to mix with alcohol. It's easy to order through the website and delivery took a couple of days. The raspberry tonic goes well with non flavoured gins or to drink on its own.
