This company uses pictures, videos and reviews from a different company so you order and someone in China sends you a fake version of that product. The items I received are nothing like what I saw on their instagram page. It costs £15 to return to someone in China so I decided not to return and just keep them. Do not be fooled by their pictures

They are scammers. The items I paid for they sent the wrong sizes. And they are in china not in UK or Eu. You wouldn’t receive your item in few days but 2-3weeks. I sent an email to send the item back and get a refund. It’s a week now they haven’t responded. Please nobody should buy from this company

So an update on my order. I purchased shapewear from Skinova but needed to return it. The company instructed me to send the parcel back to an individual in China (not a proper returns centre), which I found unusual but followed their instructions.

I returned the item using Royal Mail tracked delivery. The tracking shows the parcel has been stuck in Chinese customs for nearly two months. Royal Mail confirmed that any customs enquiries go directly to the recipient, but the seller has not responded. As a result, my parcel remains pending in customs and my refund has not been issued.

This feels like a deliberate tactic to avoid processing refunds. A legitimate company should provide a proper UK/EU returns address or at least cooperate with customs.

I cannot recommend this company if you expect reliable customer service or a fair returns process. I am now pursuing a refund through my credit card provider.

Misleading delivery
I ordered this shape war on 19 July and paid extra for express delivery and I am still waiting. What they don’t specify is that the items are shipped from china. So their delivery claims is misleading. Have asked for a refund and cancellation as not happy and if no response from them will open a section 75 with my credit card company. Also I suspect that the marketing on social media is AI enhanced and most of the models on their website do not need shapewear so again misleading advertising.

Such a very unpleasant and very bad experience. I have bought 2 items, 2 shapewaer, which indicates some amazing features, I watched the review they have place on their Web page. Waited for 2 weeks, once I received, I could see the items were not identical at all with what have been advertised, the features where not the same, the mesh they have said, the uperlift, the backless shape are were not the same, basically very cheap shepewear that doesn't worth the money paid. Once I get in touch with their support email, and enquire why they have sent the wrong item, and show how unhappy I was, they just reply to return the item and I need to pay for the return. Is this any kind of joke Skinova, when you are the one that send the wrong item and was unable to clarify why you did so and because of that I need to pay for the return? Such a bad item and such a bad support overall, and my purchase were £50, this is unbelievable. Never ever again will buy things in this company. Watch out, as the items you are seing in their Web page is not the same you get at home.
