Bought DOTA2 item locked for 7 days
I specifically searched for a DOTA2 item that would not be locked for 7 days. Bought it. It is locked for 7 days. On a plus side: item was discounted.
Took about 10 minutes to connect my Steam account - not great.

When you purchased the item on Steam, it was tradable, which means you could transfer it to your account immediately. However, whenever a Dota 2 item is traded between Steam accounts, it automatically receives a trade lock of 7 to 8 days.
