I recently attempted to purchase an item on Skins.com after encountering what appeared to be a significantly discounted price. Within minutes, I deposited funds in order to complete the transaction. However, each purchase attempt repeatedly failed during the processing stage, while the listing continued to remain fully visible and available on the platform.

When I contacted support, I was informed that the item was “apparently no longer available,” yet the listing remained active for several hours afterward. This raises substantial concerns regarding the integrity and reliability of the pricing and listing system, as users may be encouraged to deposit funds based on offers that cannot be fulfilled.

Additionally, although the failed purchase resulted from the platform or the seller listing an inaccurate price, the 1 USDT transaction fee I paid for the deposit is non-refundable. Reputable and customer-centric companies generally offer at least a goodwill gesture in cases where user trust has been compromised—regardless of the monetary size—because the issue is fundamentally about transparency and accountability.

It is important to note that another user reported the exact same experience, with their review appearing approximately eight hours before mine. This strongly suggests that the issue had already existed for 10–12 hours prior to my own attempt, yet the problematic listing remained accessible during that entire period. Such a delay in addressing an ongoing issue raises legitimate concerns about the platform’s responsiveness and quality control processes.

Despite explaining my situation in detail, the responses I received were generic, repetitive, and did not meaningfully address the core problem. Having operated a business for 19 years, I expect a significantly higher level of professionalism and operational integrity from any company engaged in commercial activity.

There are items that are massively discounted (in my case I wanted to buy a Gamma Doppler Phase 2 Glock that was 85% cheaper than different markets).

I deposited my money, paid the deposit fees and wanted to buy that item. It didn't work.

Their support response was basically "you won't be able to purchase it. That price also isn't accurate, so it most likely won't be the same"
