Easy to use app to claim back most of the tax payed in France. Recently bought some wine at Calais Wine Store and the refund was in my account the next day.

Very easy to use and the app explains everything required to get a refund.

Very easy to use. Simply upload pictures of your receipts, once you’re done spending, generate the invoice and scan at the airport. It was a lot simpler than I thought it would be and I ended up getting almost £250 paid back within 24 hours of scanning my invoice.

It was simple and easy to use, but there are some slip-ups to be wary of.
Everything you purchase has to be inspected at the border – don’t wear the clothes, don’t play with the toys, don’t open anything until you are on the transport out of the country. Do not buy anything like snacks or drinks in the same transaction as your other items if you plan to consume them before you travel.
You can only scan a receipt (“invoice”) once, so if you buy, say, souvenirs from Disneyland Paris but also buy drinks and snacks, be sure to buy them as a separate transaction otherwise you can’t claim!

Very straight forward and easy to do. I scanned and uploaded my receipts whilst I was on the train from Disneyland to Lille, then once at Lille and through passport control, you go to customs and scan the bar code. Customs check the receipt and goods - make sure they are brand new with tags. I was refunded the tax the next day. Very easy and a bonus for me as Disneyland is expensive, so a little bit back was nice.

So easy to do! If you goto Disney Paris make sure keep all your receipts on all purchases! We got £47 refund back, super easy walk through on how to do it on the Disney app!

Easy and very effective way to do tax

Easy to use and very worthwhile using the SkipTax app to claim back VAT charges on goods purchased in France.

Downloaded the app in Calais Wine Supermarket and added the receipt with the help of the guy at the till - really easy to use and they had a map showing where to find the customs terminal at Calais ferry port - refund received the next morning - fantastic
