Skip app did not take the future date…

Skip app did not take the future date and place a order for our office for ASAP in stead of Wednesday. I tried multiple time with Skips help desk to get the order cancelled after dealing with 3 representatives they didn't cancel the order.
I call the restaurant to cancel the order as the date was not taken they tell me to talk to skip I talk to skip and skip gives me the run around. Never again.

Never use Skip The Dishes

I ordered food through Skip The Dishes for the first time. I spent $23.64 for a single meal and waited for an hour for my food to be delivered. The driver, Filimon, just left the food on the floor. I was puzzled when I saw him and asked him what happened to the food. It was a total disaster inside the bag. It was disgusting and poorly handled. I was furious. I called for a refund, but the operations service emailed me that, due to several requests for reimbursement, they cannot refund my money. What a joke for customer service! They are at fault, but no accountability. I will never use this service! Think twice before you have your food delivered. NEVER use Skip The Dishes!

As a restaurant owner we take pride in…

As a restaurant owner we take pride in the food we cook for our guests. So when it comes to take out the food is already comprimised in the sense that the longer it sits you are not getting the same quality you deserve. To make matters worse SKIP has a policy in place where they will send a driver to pick up not one but two orders. This major issue with this is the first order sits in boxes for usually 10 minutes or more while the second order is made. I have expressed my objection to this practice and they tell me it is policy. The result is the guest recieves food that could have been much better if the friver would have left with the one order. It is a cost saving technique by SKIP but a food killer for the restaurant. A truly terrible policy for a company that already takes a huge chunk of money from the restaurants. If you read this review please reach out to SKIP as a consumer and let them know you do not agree with this policy. SKIP is not listening the restaurants maybe they will listen to the customers.

Skip over charge $75 They just pass the buck.

Update: Was able to finally get refund but through their** Instagram massager chat only**. All my emails to skip were ignored. See my issue below and maybe I can help others out who feel lost. Here is my original post: Good luck getting a hold of skip for refund promised. I got over charged by 75.00 for an order that hardly had any stock yet I got charged **charge posted not pending the full amount.**
I'm so done with places that you can't get help so I'm now raising awareness.

Ordered delayed

Ordered delayed. Received after 90 minutes cold. Waiting 40 minutes for customer service to respond and they offered $5 compensation. Ridiculous. Never again. Uber eats is way better.

Drivers should be accountable for their…

Drivers should be accountable for their deliveries. Ensure you have the correct order given to you before you leave the store. We received the wrong order plus the order was in terrible condition. Pizza toppings were slid to one side and up the box.
Delivery driver took no accountability.
Need to stop using these crappy Delivery companies. We will always order directly from a restaurant and pick up ourselves going forward. Skip the terrible middle man!

We paid for our order

We paid for our order. Nothing showed up. There is no possible way to contact the company. This company is a complete and total scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! Complete con. No follow up. They took our credit card and other information and we got NOTHING! Nothing you can do about it. It's a scam website. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

So bad. Waited over an hour and my food apparently still wasn't ready; I got the impression Skip just forgot. Then asked me if I wanted my refund on Skip credit -- no. I told them I won't be using Skip again. So bad.

Was charged 95 dollars and a quarter of my order came. 95 dollars for fries and wings… customer service said a refund of $30 dollars would be processed. Hungry kids, a quarter of the food and a $30 discount on one small fries and 6 wings. Thanks skip!

Went to order from Harvey's restaurant

Went to order from Harvey's restaurant. Cost was to be $67 before tip. I cancelled and went to restaurant and paid $49. Almost $20 in charges stress to Skip with no tip to the driver. It's a rip off

I am so disappointed in this company, in every time I order take out.

I am so disappointed in this company. Where I live it takes at least 1 hour for my food to get delivered by Skip the dishes. By the time I get my food it’s very cold a grouse. Skip the dishes will only give a $ 5.00 refund, cause it’s not their problem your food was cold when I received it. Even though their driver took over an hour or sometimes not at all and I still only received a$5.00 refund. This company has no regards for how or when you get your food order. I recommend Uber Eats or Door Dash these 2 places have a shorter delivery time.
I deleted their app and refuse to use them ever again.

FOOD NEVER ARRIVED AND STILL CHARGED $70.00

Ordered our breakfast worth $70.00 to Orillia Mariposa Hospice while greaving my mother and grandmother. The breakfast never arrived. There was a doorbell and someone on front desk on watch. We were still charged and never compensated the $70.00. I will never trust skip the dishes.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!

If I could give less I would.

If I could give less I would.. this time I paid $18. For a bag of coffee they didn't bother to include... and when I asked for a refund they offered me skip credits ... I don't need credits for a business that I will never use again

It’s just not worth the service any…

It’s just not worth the service any longer. Too expensive. In the beginning I could see the benefits for the service provided. Now….
1- you pay a higher menu price than is at the actual restaurant
2-you pay a delivery charge
3-theres now an additional skip charge
4-you need to tip
Add that all up and you’re close to an additional 40% compared to picking it up yourself.

Where do I start

Where do I start? Only ever used the twice. The first time the order was wrong. The second time I cancelled it because the order had somehow set itself to "pickup" which I didn't even know was an option. Nowhere in the order could I select between order or pickup. I called the place before they made the order and asked they not make it. They obliged. STILL GOT CHARGED. The only way to talk to Skipthedishes is thru the app chat. You must keep the chat window open and on your screen otherwise it shows you're offline. It can take hours for a response. Also these agents abandon you on a whim, whether you ask too many questions or you don't answer their stupid automated notifications within 5 seconds. I spoke to over ten agents. Four of them said I'd get a refund but no dice. Finally after 8 days someone decided to give me Skipthedishes credits which is not what I asked. I always said I want a refund. She could only refund me the money I paid and not the credits I used. I said the original credits were from another screw up from Skip the Dishes. She couldn't trace the order because it disappeared when I changed my address. This platform is run by idiots and crooks. Horrible and useless.
