This is not just skiing, this is an empowering experience meeting other women of all ages who just want the same thing in life which is someone to ski with. There is no better feeling than sitting in a big group for lunch up the mountain!

Ski Weekends catered chalets in great locations…
Great chalets in great locations (Avoriaz last year and Val D'Isere this year), good value and lovely friendly, helpful staff at Ski Weekends. My Daughter and myself had a fabulous week.
Chalet Tavernier was superb
Chalet Tavernier was superb. Great chalet with loads of space . Hosts Gavin & Tracey were unbelievably welcoming with excellent catering🙏. The chalet is 5mins walk from Prodain lift and ski hire giving easy access to slopes. There is even a bar at bottom of the run. Hot tub views are amazing. Bus stop to Morzine is close. We did the Thursday -Monday and slopes very busy over weekend so might look at Monday-Thursday next time. Short transfer meant we could ski until 3.00 on 4th day. (20:45 flight)Thank you ski weekend
Only tip is much cheaper to book skis from Sport 2000 at Prodain lift not via ski weekend website if you can.
Excellent food from friendly chef
Short walk to ski lifts (7 minutes), hot tub with powerful jets, heat-adjustable steam room and excellent food. The option to prepare your own lunchtime baguette before a day on the slopes is great. Very friendly, helpful and generous hosts. I didn't fancy one of the dishes at dinner time and I was given an alternative at short notice.
Ski Weekend’s chalets are in the best…
Ski Weekend’s chalets are in the best location near the action and ski in/out. Their chalet staff are the best. Their food is top notch.
Great experience
First time using ski weekends- really good experience from booking to actual hokiday !
Good value , great chalet with really nice enthusiasts hosts and great food .
Will def use again - thanks
Amazing break over Feb half term with…
Amazing break over Feb half term with Ski Weekends. Stayed at Chalet Marjorie in Les Gets. Chalet was fantastic, clean, great facilities, recently refurbished and amazing food. The chalet staff were lovely and looked after us really well. The affiliated ski rental business were also great and everything was waiting for us on our arrival, after smooth transfers from Geneva airport. 10/10!
Booked and paid for a holiday in full
Booked and paid for a holiday in full, everything went well. Had a back injury 6 weeks before the holiday which requires surgery, asked to rearrange the holiday. A 2 week window was offered over Xmas which wasn't an option for us. No other location offered, wouldnt rearrange for next year. Forced into cancellation costing me half of what was paid. So I'm out of pocket £500 for something I did not want to cancel
I recently booked a ski holiday to…
I recently booked a ski holiday to Kaprun, Austria, through Ski Weekends, and I have to say, it exceeded all expectations! The trip was for myself, my wife, and our 7-year-old son. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless, and it’s clear that Ski Weekends really knows how to curate the perfect ski getaway.
They recommended the resort and the SOULSISTERS hotel, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The resort itself is fantastic, with a wide variety of slopes perfect for all levels of skiers. My son had an absolute blast on the beginner slopes, while my wife and I enjoyed the more challenging runs. The snow conditions were perfect, and the views from the slopes were breathtaking.
The SOULSISTERS hotel was nothing short of incredible. The staff made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived, and the facilities were top-notch. The rooms were spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with a great balance of modern amenities and alpine charm. The hotel also had a wonderful wellness area, which was a much-appreciated way to relax after a day on the slopes. They even had a fantastic kids' area, making it so easy for us to unwind while knowing our son was having fun too.
The Ski Weekends team were always on hand to provide recommendations and assistance, making the entire trip stress-free and enjoyable. The transfer arrangements were smooth, and everything was organized down to the smallest detail.
All in all, I highly recommend Ski Weekends for anyone looking to plan a ski holiday. Kaprun is an amazing destination, and with the right resort and hotel recommendation, our trip was a memorable family adventure. We’ll definitely be returning!
Fantastic short break in Les Gets
Fantastic short break in Les Gets. Although we're returning Ski Weekend customers this was our first time visit to this resort, chalet Marjorie is just a few mins walk from the main lifts and ski hire shop (where you could very conveniently leave your skis/boots/poles at the end of each day's skiing). The chalet is a good size and has a steam room and hot tub (although somehow I completely missed seeing that in the description). The staff so nice as well, and made us extremely welcome with helpful advice in this new ski area for us, so we'll certainly be returning.
Fantastic short break
This is the second time we have traveled with Ski Weekends and both times have been very good. Every member of staff was friendly polite and helpful when booking, during the transfer and in the chalet. The food was plentiful and well cooked and the cakes always delicious! Our room was a little small but overall we had an amazing time!
“Unforgettable Ski Getaway with Amazing Hosts and Food”
We had an incredible experience with Ski Weekends! The food was absolutely amazing – every meal was a delight. Megan and Andy were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was perfect, offering easy access to the slopes and stunning views. A truly unforgettable trip – I highly recommend it!
Ski Weekends chalets in Avoriaz
Back in April 2023 I booked a last minute weekend with my son to Avoriaz and stayed in the Chalet Jean-France (room 5). The weekend was lovely. On the back of this I booked with them again for half term, again to Avoriaz but this time staying at the Chalet Perce-Neige (room 6).
Although the rooms in each chalet are shown as a similar size in the plans on the Ski weekends website they definitely are not.
The room at Perce Neige is barely big enough to fit the bed and far from ideal for a week's stay with my 18 year old son.
I complained to Ski weekends and was offered a £100 voucher. They may as well have said FO. I have given 2 stars not 1 as the staff in resort are lovely. It's a shame the owners have such little regard for their customers.
I asked them to change the information on their website so that others don't fall victim to the same issue but they have not, hence I am writing this review.
Be very careful when you book with Ski Weekends that you check how big the room you are booking actually is. Their website is not an accurate guide. I would suggest staying away from rooms 6 and 7 at Perce-Neige.
Disgusting company and attitude
Disgusting company and attitude - avoid at all costs
Booked and paid for a private transfer from Geneva but they cancelled it at tried to charge me for a new one.
Helen unsuccessfully talked herself round and round in circles about terms and conditions. 25 mins and 3 phone calls and complete failure to deliver any solution
Lovely Catered Chalet Experience In Courchevel
Stayed with SkiWeekends in Chalet Mouria in Courchevel 1650 in March and had a fabulous time. The chalet is lovely, spacious and the lounge area is super comfy and social. Rooms are basic but comfortable, and the chalet hosts and food were excellent. Great location, only a stones throw from the main bars, shops and restaurants. Will be back!
Worst staff experience to date
I stayed at Chalet Tavernier in March along with nine other young professionals and unfortunately the stay and subsequent customer service was the worst I have experienced in 27 years.
On arrival, Ski Weekends in-house staff Martyn and Francesca appeared to be in a bad mood, immediately asking us in a judgemental manner "what sort of people are you" when dropping off our bags. Later that evening, we were disappointed to find that the Kitchen- Lounge Diner had not been fully refurbished as advertised on the chalet's description (see attached picture). During the rules we were surprised to be informed that both the Hot-Tub and Sauna could only be used between 5pm-7pm and could not be used at all on the day of arrival and departure, this was incredibly disappointing as these time restrictions weren’t advertised to us prior to our stay and this restriction is far out of line with accepted industry practice. During the next couple of days, we became increasingly uncomfortable with Martyn and Francesca's aggressive language and attitude, particularly their short temper and derogatory and offensive language such as swearing and use of the word "spa**ic" in response to innocent mistakes such as taking glasses of water into the bedrooms.
On the Saturday we were surprisingly informed by Martyn and Francesca that the hot tub was "broken" and could not be fixed as a result of a small amount of water spilling over the edge during use. Martyn and Francesca very aggressively informed us that "someone is going to have to pick up the bill for this". We were quite rightly incredibly disappointed and upset by this. Given this false allegation and our disappointment that the services were unavailable, I decided to make a complaint to Martyn and Francesca in line with Ski weekends complaints procedure (clause 7 of the T&Cs). During this complaint, Martyn and Francesca were incredibly aggressive towards me, swearing at me, calling the group brain dead, referring to me and the group as children and repeatedly trying to patronise and belittle me. Perhaps most disappointingly, at one point Martyn who was listening to the complaint from the kitchen at the time came out of the kitchen, squared up to me, shouting and swearing and demanding that I to "look at him when I talk to him".
We were incredibly surprised and frankly shocked by this behaviour and naturally made an official complaint to Ski Weekends upon our return. Despite never receiving a full response to the complaint it was determined that the Hot-Tub was never in fact broken, moreover Martyn and Francesca had lied as they did not wish to top it up with more water. As a result, Martyn and Francesca chose to lie to the group, emotionally manipulate us into believing we had done something wrong and would need to pay for that mistake. To make things even worse they chose to swear and act in an aggressive manner in a desperate attempt to cover up the lie. As you can imagine, this behaviour is completely negligent and unacceptable in any customer facing role, let alone while staying at three-star accommodation.
Perhaps most disappointingly, Ski Weekends refused to apologise or accept responsibility for their staff's behaviour, putting their behaviour down to a "clash of personalities" justified by the group's behaviour, namely taking glasses of water into the bedrooms and accidently knocking over one beer bottle (yes really!). As a result of this awful and quite frankly upsetting experience, we requested a partial refund. Ski Weekends ignored our requests, refused to accept any responsibility for their staff's actions or the false advertising on the website. Only after three letters, eight weeks and an eventual decision by the group to issue a legal claim did Ski Weekends offer us a 25% refund (i.e. £180 each in return for being swore at, lied to and emotionally manipulated). We were never able to use either the Hot-tub or Sauna after the Friday.
Ski Weekends rather remarkably continues to defend their staff's behaviour as acceptable. I reached out to Dan at Ski Weekends personally in an attempt to discuss my experience but got ignored. If you are planning a stay at Chalet Tavernier or any Ski Weekends chalet and would like additional information about their staff's behaviour or the customer service we received, please don't hesitate to contact me.
TL;DR: If you are happy to be swore at, called a child, lied to, emotionally manipulated and only have a desire to use the advertised facilities for a maximum of 2 hours per day (if you're luckier than us) then Ski Weekends is the company for you!
We spent a fabulous 7 days in Chalet…
We spent a fabulous 7 days in Chalet Monique, Courchevel 1650. The private transfer from Geneva was seemless and we had a great driver. The chalet was beautiful, especially the main living area. There was enough room for all to socialise or find a quieter corner to relax in after a day’s skiing. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area which was a great asset. There was plenty of choice at breakfast to cater for all. Our dinners were delicious and, again, so sociable. We made use of the hot tub on a couple of evenings which provided the perfect wind down after a full on day! The position of the chalet is ideal too between the main Ariondaz lift and Petit Moriond lift. Would definitely recommend booking this chalet through Ski Weekends. We had a really special week!! Thanks
Perfect in every way
Ski Weekends' excellent service started when I accidentally booked to come back a day later than agreed. They arranged an extra day accomodation and reorganised my transfer for the following day for a nominal fee. The plane was delayed (not ski weekends' fault) but the transfer remained in place and I was kept up to date by text in the airport and again on landing. The location was excellent (3 mins from the lift as advertised), the chalet beautiful, staff attentive and polite and the food was excellent. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, ski weekends.
