Skylights1 were excellent to deal with. We ordered a 2x1m roof light which was delivered as promised. Unfortunately the unit we received was damaged during transport but Skylight1 arranged a replacement unit to be sent and the damaged one to be picked up within a few days.
Highly recommended these guys

I ordered my roof window on a Friday afternoon, I was called less than an hour later to arrange delivery on the Monday, which came by 10am, a great service at a reasonable price

Purchased 2 sky lights from slylights1 which we initially thought were a tad sketchy but they were local and seemed to be pleasant on the phone.

When ordered, we received a call for a delivery date and time which they went above and beyond to facilitate delivery. The driver helped me offload both sky lights with pleasure and a genuine desire to help - particularly at 0700!!!

If and when I have any other sky lights I need, I'll be ordering from them.

The issue I have is with the cost of returning an item. A flashing kit that could have been sent by Parcelforce for £10 was instead sent on a pallet for £33!! There is also a restocking fee of 25%!
Therefore of the £103 I spent on a simple flashing kit, I will receive £103-£33 initial postage-£16.5 restocking fee-£10 Parcelforce return = £43.50!!!
How is that fair??

Almost resigned to the fact that I will not be getting automatic blinds for my skylights as the prices being quoted from other sites were over £1000 per blind. Luckily found Skylights1 via Facebook and bought a couple of their automatic blackout blinds. Was so impressed that I bought a further 2 and now all are controlled via Alexa. High quality, small footprint, no guide wires, thermal properties, great service and a very happy customer!

We recently replaced vellux windows and had a large skylight installed.
Not only was the price of these skylights far lower than most other websites I'd looked at, the order from start to finish was easy and prompt.
I would definitely recommend.

Excellent communication throughout. Great price and delivery options. Dealt with Tim via WhatsApp, which was a really quick and efficient way to communicate. Tim's customer service skills were tested with a damaged panel that needed replacing, but he pulled out all the stops to rectify the issue and got a new one to us in time for the pre-booked roofers, even taking on the cost for a Saturday delivery. 10 out of 10. Would not hesitate in recommending Tim and Skylights1. Excellent customer focused attitude, which you don't often see anymore.
