Huge price increase

Been with Sky 9years no problems I can remember they now call me a Platinum VIP member what ever!!
Just noticed last week, that out of the blue they want to increase my bill from £75 I pay now to £118 in June then to £150 in July they must be mad, or think I am.
Just warning other Sky customers watch when they start thanking you for being such a loyal Sky customer and pin one of these Platinum VIP badges on you, you could be in for a price increase.
Probably be taking mine with me cannot afford to pay double to what I signed up to pay for the deal.

Very poor value…

You pay new money every month to get the same programs repeated dozens and dozens of times over and over again. They move the same programs around different channels to hide the fact. Very poor value for money.😡😡

Recently joined Sky media after 30years…

Recently joined Sky media after 30years of being a Virgin customer. The only reason I went with sky was because they didn’t do virgin where I had moved to.
I must say I have had the worst experience.
Cancelled appointments for broad bend installations, wrong price package quote, gone back on the original price quoted.
Extra costs taken by direct debit.
Ring up the try to sort it out and keep being transferred to different departments, oh and if you want to speak
To a manager..forget it, they dont exist!
Cant wait for Virgin to be an available, Sky are rubbish!

I signed up with SKY 1st May 2024

I signed up with SKY 1st May 2024. For the first five months I kept getting stalled on Channel 107 - all other channels had a connection. However, since May I also experience shut down with a screen notice "Please wait for your programme to load" it never ever reloads - I give up and turn off TV. So frustrating - reported many times and it is not dealt with.

I was with Sky for an 18 month…

I was with Sky for an 18 month contract. Whilst away on holiday for a month the contract terminated and my service ramped up to £99/month.
I'd already decided to move to a 4G hub as the internet is very poor here. It took me nearly 2 hours to cancel and I have been plagued with texts and e-mails since.
To make maters worse my mother (88) needed to cancel to move to be with us. The cancelation fee of £200 was bad enough but the really annoying thing was the 45 minutes on the phone which wore her out.
Sky need to actually listed to their calls that are recorded for training and see where they have gone wrong !

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. Can’t even get hold of anyone. Waited on the phone for over an hour on two separate occasions.

Moving phone contract to another company. Very poor

Customer for a very long time

I have been a customer for a very long time and even received VIP status. Most companies would treat VIP's well but not Sky. Over the past three years I have had nothing but grief from this company equipment going wrong, abuse from staff to which you won't get an apology, my account restricted cause I dare to voice an opinion on the customer service I have received. I do not have one good word for this company and will be leaving once my contract ends

Wrong information by Sky

Signed up to Sky in Jan 2020 for 18 months contract. Did ask the question regarding price rises due to inflationary rates and the fact that I would be hit twice meaning any savings I negotiated would be reduced dramatically. I was told that the rise this April 2020 would not happen since the sales team would have been told by now. Hold and behold, received a notification in March advising a rise of £3 and when challenged them, was advised I have to accept it since in fine print of T&C. I did not appreciate being told a ‘lie’ by the rep to entice me to sign up to sky.

Sky what a joke. Latest update not good...

I waited in yesterday afternoon for an engineer from SKY who was delivering my shiny new Sky Q box. Time was latwr changed to 15.45 ti 17.45 no problem but then at 16.37 it changed to 2nd Nov. I was so angry got in touch with sky who said would try to get someone to us Monday. Today get a email saying it would be the 25th Oct then2 hourslater it's the 30th Oct. Not going to hold my breath what a bunch of cowboys and they threaten to fine me if I'm not in. We will see what happens obviously not got enough engineer's.

Update engineer just been and left said he's the wrong sort for this job don't know how others in the block have Sky Q so left and we now have wait for a phone call what a buch of cowboys been waiting since 8th September my m8 upstairs ordered his after me and it was fitted no problem weeks ago absolutely fuming mad...

Well best they can do after cancelling the first time and sending the wrong engineer out the second time is 27th November nearly 12 weeks i will have waited Brexit will be sorted before my Sky Q box.
Well where to start hard to believe but they sent the wrong engineer out again so another four weeks waiting what a joke this company is promised this would not happen again promised that if they failed for a third time they would be investigated as its not aloud. Don't believe a word this company says if i had a choice i would be well rid but i don't no option but to use this shower of cowboys or only have freeview and i enjoy my sport too much.....

GREAT TILL SOMETHING GOES WRONG

I have been a loyal customer for over 19 years - the service is great until something goes wrong. Customer Services 3/4 hour to answer phone and then could only offer me a service call after 36 DAYS! My complaint fell on deaf ears with the suggestion that I knock on the door of a Sky engineer who lives in my close and give him the job number. My complaint suggested that my service call would only happen if they then had an engineer available. I have no TV for over a month and they reminded me I could not cancel my contract which had over a year to run. Shocked by this uncaring help

Poor customer service

I purchased a sky package and 28 days ago an engineer turned up, caused some damage, didn't install it correctly and left without even giving a demo.
I complained to sky and to the CEO Jeremy Daroch.
I had a service manager call and advise that he would send an engineer to put right the wrongs and get the damage sorted.
Today expecting an engineer and after waiting in all day and moving work commitments, I received a text message at 5pm advising engineer wasn't coming and an alternative e appointment tment had been booked.
I had no call to rearrange and this was already a visit to put the poor install right. Just a text...
I still have a damaged wall and no mention of putting it right, a damaged towel which he used as a dust sheet and had no visit to rectify..
No one has or wants to take ownership..
I have cancelled today within 28 days of installation..
Shocking service

Sky TV

My view on sky,I've been a loyal customer since 1992 and always had the premium package but recently I've had to give up work to care for someone fulltime,at the start of the call I'm called a loyal customer by there operator so I'm prioritised,I asked about reducing and even cancelling my contract because of there price increase and because of my life circumstances and not able to work anymore but to no avail,it would cost me way too much money which I cant afford in 1 payment,£120 to be precise, its not what I call being loyal to to customer of nearly 30 years,I don't know how much sky earn a year but surely in my circumstances they could make an exception, shame on you sky and when my contract finally ends and if my circumstances change which will probably mean the passing of a loved one,I wont renew it with sky that's for sure
