We have had no service for days

We have had no service for days, excuse maintenance. Decided to go to Vodafone. Requested pac code for both our phones. First call was advised 24/36 hours to get it. After another call it was 5/6 days.

Never again

I was with Sky Mobile for years and as a single parent with 3 kids the piggy bank worked in our favour. When it was time to upgrade our phones (after 3 years) sky kept putting the orders through and then cancelling the agreements on day of delivery. I never received an explanation. They submitted 4 new phones, 5 times, all agreements cancelled by Sky, hours before DPD were due to deliver. SKY left my perfect credit score in a complete mess. They've agreed to remove all hard searches. That was in Sep 25. It's now Feb 26 and no hard search has been removed. I never want to deal with sky again, reuined my credit score which is causing me massive problems elsewhere as a single parent.

Genuinely appalled by such a poor level…

Genuinely appalled by such a poor level of service. I would not recommend Sky to anyone.

I was with Sky for over a year. In the first year I had noticed a significant reduction in signal from my last provider (O2) - I had gone with Sky as I hadn't had any major problems with O2 and it was my understanding that Sky uses O2’s network. Sky was also the cheapest option at the time. I persevered with Sky for 1 year. Then almost exactly 1 year to the day, I was not able to make/take calls or texts and I was not able to access my data at all.

I called Sky and was told that the Technical Department would sort the issue within 48 hours. 2 days passed and the issue persisted. I visited a Sky store and was provided a replacement sim which the in-store staff checked. It was deduced by the in-store staff that there was a problem with my account as nothing seemed to be working. The in-store staff were very pleasant but there was nothing they could do and I had to wait for the Technical team to respond. The technical team were chased whilst I was in store and I was advised to wait 72 hours.

Over the next 2 months, I received no response from the technical team despite several chasers and complaints. None of the complaints were responded to and I made a data subject access request which was also not responded to by Sky. Every time I raised this with Sky I was told to wait 72 hours and again nothing would be received. Several times I was lied to by Sky staff though out the process (not just that they would respond within 72 hours).

Their telephone customer service is appalling and provides no assistance. The call handlers are incredibly rude and persistently say that you must wait 72 hours. I have since switched providers and have been much happier. I will not be returning to Sky for any service, not just limited to Sky Mobile as I believe that their customer service procedure is the same for all of their products.

Graham

Do not join sky mobile for a reason. Their customer services are not very good. The lawyer to team and skymover are not very good. They don't really solve the problems with you. I've had trouble with sky mobile now. Do not join them if you're going to join another network. Join E valifying 020 free G. I feel like sky. Mobile is not a very good company to join. I won't recommend a friends and family and I will trouble them now when I'm trying to upgrade. I said, there's a new if I'm trying to upgrade my simps card a handset. I'll have to go for a full credit check. Now I feel like sky is hiding their crosses. Over hiding the terms of conditions, the doubt tail customers. If you send a text message, fight a message on text another country. It's chargeable, they just hide those terms of conditions and i'm waiting for a call back from my manager from the third of february 2026 initiative takes 7 working days to get a call back. It doesn't, it takes 24 hours. I feel like this company sky mobile lawyer team too. They're very rude on the phones

Is Sky the limit?

I find Sky an intolerable and impatient company.
I find them greedy...they call me a "loyal customer " but that obviously only cuts one way...they have no concern in disconnecting your phone services if you are late or struggling...they left my daughter stranded in Bristol even though I had informed them I was struggling with a change in jobs..
They could have converted my Piggy bank data into payment.....their coverage isn't great and data appears to slow down when billing is due. Customers service is rude and judgemental. I don't recommend Sky

Harassment

I have got behind paying my bill over christmas but have made installments towards it. Dispite being cut off and not able to use the phone they not only charged for the month I could use it but also charged FULL for a month I was not able to use the services? How does that make sense?
Dont owe a huge amount yet they were very quick to pass my information onto a debt collection company that I have never heard of before and keep getting dodgy phone calls from them that cut off so will NOT be paying though them.
I have been paying in installments directly through the sky website anyway to chip away at it till I get paid.
God forbid your late with a payment!!!
Expect harassment.
Also wifi keeps cutting out and I paid extra for something to give it a boost...
Where is this thing thats supposed to help when the internet signal drops when im paying for the best???

You must be very careful if a Sky customer

You must be very careful if a Sky customer on mobile, you must be aware of horrendous data roaming charges if abroad. I had been to Monaco 6 times previously when using O2, never a problem they charged £2.50 per day, visited for 2 days in Jan this time with Sky and had over £200 of charges for less than 500mb of data. I have Cancelled all my Sky accounts, broadband, TV & mobile, they are a hopeless company with terrible customer services, all working from India with hardly a grasp of English! No acceptance on their part that they had not given me adequate advance warning of charges. BEWARE of SKY !

Appalling Customer Service and advisors…

Appalling Customer Service and advisors MIS SELLING illegally!
In September 2025 I took out a new contract for a Google Pixel 10 Fold Pro, I used it for a couple of days and found it too big for my liking so I organised a return on the phone.
The phone was returned to sky mobile and a few weeks later I received a call from the back office team advising that there was an issue with the phone upon its return (crack in screen) which when I returned the phone it was in PERFECT CONDITION!
They advised they will investigate this and come back to me in a few days!
3 months went by and I hadn’t heard anything, I was still paying for the phone and my CCE was still in place.
I have spoken to more agents then I can count, all of which say the same thing…that they need to raise this with the back office team and they will be in contact…guess what nothing happens.
I received a text yesterday from Sky saying that the are going to refund the payments I made on the device, so today I called them to ask three simple questions…1- How will I receive my refund eg bank transfer or on my account, 2- That my credit agreement had been cancelled and 3- What are my future payments.
I was put from one advisor to another who couldn’t grasp what I was saying (8 advisors in total) one advisor said he had cancelled the credit agreement and the refund was going into my bank account in 3 days and as an apology would offer me a great discount on my data plans….what he didn’t say was I was taking out new 24 month contracts on all of my data plans.
So I called back to say that the previous advisor had mis sold me into new contacts and not only that this advisor said that my credit agreement hadn’t been cancelled, there was no refund and I had indeed been conned into making out new data contacts.
This service is appalling and some of it even illegal, I will need to obviously take this further and as soon as I’m out of my contacts on both mobile and tv leave sky completely

There are scammers on sky customer…

There are scammers on sky customer service now. I am not sure this is customer service as they had an Asian accent. Here is the number i called: 03300412523. I called to upgrade, i was asked for all my detail, the person kept telling me that they are wrong. I was confused. I called the next day and all the details i had given a day before became suddenly correct. Then i took out a contract, passed crecit search. Normally fom experience the customer service agent would ask me to sign the agreement whilst on the phone, this time when i asked, he said that i should sign it later. When I logged on to sign it, I couldn't. And then I called again, and this time, the person was asking me for my password. I refused to give my password. He then asked that I do a new credit agreement and run another search. i asked why and that who cancelled the first in and for what? These are sign of scams. Need to come here to alert all.

Stay clear!! Shocking coverage even more shocking customer service! No one understands or knows what they’re doing it took them 3 days and 4 different agents to work out how to send me an eSIM. The staff at bluewater store were as useless as a chocolate tea pot and incredibly rude, no wonder the store was empty! Refused to give me a pac code to leave customer service refused to give me pac code won’t text me one so now reporting them to trading standards.

I wanted a cheap SIM for my son and saw…

I wanted a cheap SIM for my son and saw a £2 offer on black Friday.
Placed my order online and it was cancelled. Placed it again and yet again it was cancelled.
I rang up and spoke to somebody and they said they will get someone to look into it and come back to me. Two weeks later I get a text message saying it's taking longer than expected but it's still being looked into.
A month later I haven't heard anything so I've rung up and they said it's been cancelled and the offers not available anymore. But they will do a sim for 3.75 pence, so more expensive than I originally planned, but I reached the point where I'm like okay.
10 days later still no sim.. so I ring up and they tell me oh it's been cancelled. They couldn't tell me why and said someone will get in contact with me.
Nobody bothered telling me it had been cancelled and so I went elsewhere.
I know it's not the biggest contract to have lost but when my contract was up for renewal sky would have been an auction which they certainly are not now and I will make sure I tell everybody how they have treated me.

Great deal on phones and SIMs - AWFUL network coverage

Got a great deal on two iPhone 16's last year (one for my wife and one for myself) - £30 each per month with a 10GB SIM deal. All good to start, but then the phones and SIMs arrived...

Handsets worked fine, but the network coverage was absolutely awful. I called the tech team, who ran us through a few options to try to improve it, but none worked. I could be in the city or out in more rural areas, and the coverage was always subpar.

I've just returned to EE. I would urge anyone thinking about going for a Sky Mobile deal to reconsider.

Been with sky for about 2 years now and as soon as my contract is up, i will be leaving them. Their signal is awful and about 70% of the time i cant recieve or make calls. I have tried getting in touch with them but they only offer a calling service and with no signal on my phone ever, i cant make a call. Worst thing i did was move to sky after being with giffgaff for years! I have recently got an email about them increasing my sim plan price. What for a sim that basically gives me no signal at all

One star is one star too many

One star is one star too many. Sky mobile is farcical. I entered a mobile phone and airtime contract on 29/11/25 and the next day contacted customer support to inform them I did not want to proceed. I was informed no problem but phone had been dispatched and just to follow return process. Returned phone immediately and this is where the issues started. Sky took 10 days to confirm the phone was received despite my tracking information. I requested confirmation that my airtime and credit agreement had been cancelled. Despite 9 calls and online chats I received no confirmation. Then Sky continued to take money from my account for the phone despite Sky acknowledging they had received the phone. I have requested refund and resorted to contacting my bank for a charge back. Sky actually have no clear process for cancellation within the statutory cooling off period. Customer support is hopeless, they state everything sorted and they will email this department and don’t worry! Yet every time nothing progresses and I have still not formally received any response for Sky complaint team regarding why I experienced and still experiencing these issues on 20/01/26. My last contact with the Sky complaint team was them emailing requesting information to revalidate my identity due to the length of time since they contacted me! Avoid Sky mobile.
