Wow...where to start.
Karla and Simon made our day extra special and really made us feel at ease while photos were being taken.
They really went above and beyond to make sure that our day went smoothly and everything was perfect.

Simon made us immediately comfortable when we met him at a wedding fair, and once we checked out some of his work online it was an easy decision to book him for our wedding. He couldn’t have been more pleasant and professional, something all the guests commented on. He has a lovely calming way about him on what is a potentially stressful day and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

We first saw Simon and Karla's photos when we looked at Dodford. Naturally we researched loads of other photographers but we could never shake Sky from our vision.

Simon and Karla were fantastic, right from the minute we booked through to scheduling a last minute Teams call to answer all our burning questions.

Fast forward to the wedding day and they were brilliant, half the time I forgot they were in the room. Simon would approach without disturbing anything and was calm, which in such a busy environment when you are the most wanted couple by 60 day guests was such a relief. It started to rain as we started our group photos and Simon seamlessly set up inside the Mortain barn without doubt to finish the photos we had asked for. We are so excited to see the rest of our photos.

Simon and Karla are exceptional and we are so pleased we booked them.

After months of organising one of the most important days of our lives, entrusting someone to capture those special memories was a daunting task. Luckily for us, we gave this responsibility to the extremely talented Sky Photography duo.

Simon & Karla’s vision and approach stood out when we were first choosing our wedding photographers. However, their charisma and energy, once we met them, is what solidified our decision.

From our first online meeting, it was obvious that they would do everything they could to exceed expectations - they more than accomplished that! Many of our guests mentioned how lovely the photographers were and that they did not see them stop once!

We found Sky Photography when we booked Dodford Manor for our wedding, looking through their album onsite I knew there style was right for us. I could rave about the quality of the photos for ages but it is not the best thing about Sky Photography.... that is Simon and Karla!
The process prior to the wedding and communication we had was excellent, always responsive and the questionnaire sent through was so thorough that I knew they totally understood how different couples worked and wanted a really clear understanding of how we wanted to capture our day.
On the day both Simon and Karla were fantastic. Karla came to me in the morning to capture getting ready with my bridesmaids and Simon was at the venue to capture my groom and the guest arrival. Throughout the day they were both kind, polite and non intrusive (while still capturing some incredible split second moments - i actually don't know how they always happened to be in the right place at the right time!)
Neither myself or the groom are big fans of having our picture taken and they made us feel very comfortable which has resulted in some incredible shots - even in just the 1st look!
I work in events and photographers can make or break the atmosphere, Simon and Karla certainly helped us to make this the best day ever. Highly recommend!!!

Simon and Karla, just wow! We’re still waiting for our pictures of the day back, BUT getting the sneak peak DURING our dinner was a huge highlight of the day! Both exceptional at what yous do and we are so happy we chose you! Venders at first sight😍
From the start, Karla running around with our 2 kiddies whilst we got ready, brushing our hairs, making sure we had exactly what we needed when we needed, capturing every beautiful part of the day.
They really don’t do awkward! The most upbeat, comfortable people, an eye for perfection!
From pictures with the family to running off in the pitch black with them for some beautiful pictures.
I cannot express how excited we are to get our pictures back, and how grateful I am for everything they done on our day! They truly go above and beyond.
For half of the day I completely forgot my dress had pockets, HOW?! But don’t worry because Karla had pockets and stole my phone during every photo session so it didn’t get lost haha!
They just flow with everyone, a truly exceptional photography couple and you can see their love of perfection and photography even through the sneak peak we got!
They well and truly made our day special!

From booking to the day of, they made everything perfect and flow great, no wonder they get booked up so quick😉

We are thrilled to share our amazing experience with Sky Photography! From start to finish, Simon and Karla went above and beyond to capture every special moment of our wedding day; yet they blended into the background at the same time - you would never notice that they were right there next to you, with how well they moved around guests. Upon looking at our photos, we saw Simon was next to the ceremony table but we can't remember ever actually having seen him at the time; that's how perfect they are!

Have you watched the episode on friends where Monica and Chandler try to take engagement photos and he looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp? Well, that's me.

After combing through a ton of photographers online and a couple of meetings we met Simon (and half way through the meeting his wonderful little boy who wanted to know if he could use the ipad to watch his show) and immediately felt comfortable. I told Simon about my tendency to 'stiffen up' on camera, to which he immediately followed up with a portfolio of ideas that were more natural and candid but still got the shots I wanted.

On the day, both Simon and Karla made us feel like family (we're some 4 months after the wedding, and my husband and Karla still chat away). They knew the perfect moment to grab a shot and the right time to take a step back and let us breathe (once or twice, giving us a little breathing space from our guests at our request).

Whether you're looking for candid or posed, I can not recommend this duo enough. I've gotten the most irreplaceable memories from my big day captured forever because of them both.

Without a doubt, the best choice we made where wedding vendors were concerned.

Wow! Simon and Karla were the most amazing photographers for our wedding at the end of July. They blended in amongst the guests, you hardly knew they were there. They took such a range of photos - from group shots, to stunning couple portraits as well as gorgeous candid shots. They more than exceeded our expectations. They were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they were a real highlight of our day. We’ll be recommending them to everyone we know as well as hopefully using them in the future for a pregnancy shoot (if we are blessed with children). Thank you Simon & Karla ❤️

Simon was our photographer for our wedding, we couldn’t recommend sky photography enough!
The photos are incredible, Simon captured a great mix of candid and group photos aswell as our beautiful couples shots! He also made the whole process comfortable and made us feel at ease. We’ve also had many guests saying they barely noticed we had a photographer because he was incredibly discreet which is what we would want! We also booked an engagement shoot with Simon and again the photos were perfect and it was great because we really felt like we got to know Simon throughout our wedding planning.
