We had a memorial slate from Ben nearly 10 years ago which was beautiful and still as good as new having been outside all that time so managed to track him down in order for a house sign for our new house.

Well yet again Ben has done a fantastic job. The timeframe was amazing and the quality outstanding. Ben went through every option that would work for my item and I never once felt pushed to buy or hurried on time. Considering it was a family members birthday thats quite something. Ben is not only an amazing craftsman but a really nice genuine man.

We are over the moon with our house name, it looks fab in gold leaf lettering. Perfectly executed from the font chosen and arrived quickly and really well wrapped. Ben was helpful and quick in replying to our enquiry. Would recommend to anyone looking for well made slat items.

I have ordered slate house name plaques twice from Ben and have been really happy with both. I asked him to make the second set because I was so pleased with the first. The signs are well made, exactly as I requested and delivered in good time.

A fantastic super efficient service from Ben Thomas. Our slate door plaque needed the inlaid colour changing from gold to silver to match a new front door. We were delighted with the result which took under a week ftom start to finish. Could not recommend The Slate Workshop more highly.

I ordered a new house sign from The Slate Workshop because I was impressed with all the very positive reviews. Ben most definitely deserves them. As I started with planning the sign, Ben was helpful by sending me examples of different fonts and images to help me visualise the end result. The sign arrived carefully wrapped and the finished product is absolutely wonderful! A very thick piece of beautiful slate skillfully carved.

Ben made a beautiful house name slate for us to give as a gift. The stone itself is impressive Welsh slate and the writing etched cleanly. Ben communicated really well, sending us two draft options to choose from. The slate arrived well packaged and within a week (Ben kindly made our order more quickly so that we could give it as a birthday gift).
