We love our bed from sleep master therapy. Delivery prompt as promised and staff so friendly. The bed is extremely comfortable and looks great on our room.

I contracted for the bed at a craft show in August '25. Gary and George were very helpful in explaining the bed mechanism and offered us a large choice of materials to choose from.I'm on a pension and the bed was very expensive for me but my back is bad and I felt this would help. My choices made we organised the bed to be delivered on the 8th Oct'25. Two chaps turned up on the day, on time and were very polite, tidy and quick to dismantle and remove the old bed and build the new one. The bed head was not what I ordered. I ordered a small bed head but received a tall one. I decided to keep it as it looked quite good in our room. The bed itself is of good quality and well built. The only niggle I had was the smell! I've never smelt anything like it. There was an oily, chemical smell to the bed and/or mattress. I know new mattresses can have a strange smell for a few days and hoped that this would disappear quickly. I left all the bedroom windows open for a few days but the smell did not dissipate. I had to sleep in the room but my husband slept in the guest room. We were away a few days later that week for a full week and when we came back the whole house reeked of this smell. I stripped the bed, put the mattresses on their side and opened all the doors and windows in the house. I rang George who was completely surprised at my comments and said they'd never had this problem before. He arranged for the mattress manufacturer to contact me which he duly did. He offered to come down from the Midlands and exchange the mattresses (he didn't sound that enthusiastic as he didn't think his mattresses were the problem!) if we would just wait a little longer to see if the smell dissipated. I waited a week or so and the smell was gradually getting less. I contacted George and Gary by email to ask if they had any idea what the odour could be but have not received a reply. It has now been three months since the bed arrived and I can only catch a faint whiff from time to time - when I strip the bed or raise the head of the bed to read.
My friend ordered a bed the same time as I did and it was installed on the same day by the same crew. She also had the same problem so it's not just me.
However, to be fair the product is well built and is straight forward to operate and complements my bedroom very well. It was just the after service. It would have been a good idea for either George or Gary to personally check out where this smell was coming from and if it was anything nefarious.
