Excellent service and quality mattress. I am very happy with the effort made to deliver the bed at no added cost and I also received a beautiful gift along with it.

I ordered a mattress from The Sleep Shop, and while delivery was on time and the customer service was polite, my experience with them wasn't flawless. There were issues with communication in other orders, as delays and chasing updates occurred. While prices are competitive, reliability and proactive communication need improvement. Overall, my experience was mixed.

I genuinely didn't think customer service this good was around anymore! Excellent all round. A great priced, quality mattress delivered within 3 days of ordering, very helpful customer advice on the phone prior to purchasing, polite delivery drivers who took my mattress to the choice of my room for no extra charge. Drivers were on time and informed me of the timing beforehand. Great service!

Ordered a silent night mattress in the evening on a Monday online. Took a call on Tuesday to let me know it would be dispatched and delivered on Wednesday. Prompt delivery and good customer service a rare treat and at only £2 more than purchasing via Amazon I was happy to give them my business.

Fantastic customer service. The best I have received in a long time. I had a fault on a Rauch wardrobe that I purchased from the sleep shop about a year ago and they have done a fantastic job of liaising with the manufacturer to get me a replacement item for me on this. I found them very competitively priced when I ordered the wardrobes in the first place and will definitely be using them again and recommending them to friends and family.

Company is a bunch of thieves and liars.
I ordered a mattress online a few months ago and a couple of weeks later (when the item had not been delivered as expected) I emailed asking to cancel the order and to get a refund. They replied that would be fine and lead me to believe I would get a full refund. However they actually only refunded me part of the money. Since then I contacted them several times by phone and email claiming the full refund back. Staff, Matthew and Paul said they would pass this to their manager and come back to me. However they never did. I have no other choice now except to take legal action.

Simply experience with good communication and quick delivery.

I placed an order for two expensive (£170) pillows on 9th Dec which were a gift for someone. I found out shortly after I was meant to be purchasing something different, so I contacted the company immediately via email to cancel the order. They confirmed cancellation and said they would refund me (as well as trying to sell me alternatives). After a few days nothing has been refunded so chased up and the company said the refund would be processed. I had to chase another 3 times and on the third time they went silent. Thankfully, I had used PayPal so I raised a dispute claim and have now got my money back.

A lot of hassle for something that should have been simple.

I have been trying to support smaller firms over the past year but after a number of bad experiences like this, I’m going to stick to big names in the future.

I purchased a bed, paid using paypal, and then the checkout process failed with a cryptic server error message. I got a phone call saying the item was out of stock and I would be refunded "as soon as possible". I get an email with an order confirmation with a request for payment. I query this and get told it would be fixed as soon as possible. I had to send an angry email to get my money back. Avoid.

Tried to buy a mattress. Was going to pay £600. When I asked about delivery, I was told that the item was in stock but that it would take 5 days for delivery! (2 miles up the road) When I asked why so long if it was in stock, was told that deliveries were going everywhere, Newark,Lincoln, Nottingham, every day and they were very busy!!! They lost my business because they couldn't work out how to incorporate a local delivery onto a vehicle that was probably passing my house the next day????

Ordered a wine cabinet on 2nd May with expected delivery of 1-3 weeks. Had to constantly chase for updates both via email and telephone for months. Kept being promised it would arrive the following week. Finally arrived on the 29th July with barely an apology. No proactive updates from the company on delivery updates or offer of discount based on a 2 month delay. Wouldn’t use again.

Fantastic purchase from start to finish, highly recommended. The sale price was excellent as was delivery and collection of my old mattress and I was kept informed at all stages. Help and and advice was very helpful. Thank you.

I purchased 4 pillows from The Sleep Shop. The company kept me up to date with every stage of my order, then provided me with a date & time of my delivery.
Pillows were exactly what I wanted, very reasonably priced, and as described. They were packaged and protected very securely.
I would definitely recommend this company and I will not hesitate in purchasing from then again in the future.

Ordered the Rest Assured Rufford 2000 sprung memory mattress. This is the 3rd mattress I’ve had from them. Great service and a prompt delivery. Good quality mattress at a great price. Can’t recommend them enough. Thanks again guys
