AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
I booked a job with smallmoves.co.uk and this is first time ever I 've booked a job with a removals company that don't bother to show up. (???)
When I spoke to John who deals with the bookings he said the job was ok and gave me a quote. A few days before the job he texted me to confirm which I did so I had no reason to assume the job wouldn't be done.
On the day of the job no-one turned up and no-one bothered to call or message me as courtesy to say there was a problem and they couldn't do the job. After half an hour I called smallmoves.co.uk and as I later found out John was deliberately avoiding my call. What became businessman does this? This was a nightmare does John expect me to find someone at short notice? Worse I'm a mum so as well as the stress of getting my things moved, I was left in a position of not being to move my stuff with kids. For the whole of that day I called and left voice mail and texted him. But he wouldn't reply. Up until now John still hasn't given me an explanation.
I've never experienced such a thing
