Nothing easier than uploading to, and downloading from, smallpdf. The quality of the compressed result is excellent. I've been using it for years to simplify my life. Thank you for the continuing improvements over the years.

Canceled within trial but still charged $144 for a yearly plan I never selected. Multiple emails, no resolution. This looks like wrongful billing—need immediate refund and explanation.

EXCELLENT WEBSITE APPLICATION & SERVICE.

I signed up for a 7-day free trial with Smallpdf and was charged for a full year without any prior warning or reminder email. The only email I received was a notification that my trial had already expired by which point the charge had already been processed.

I contacted their support multiple times requesting a refund. Instead of addressing my request, they repeatedly redirected me to their Terms and Conditions. When I cited my rights under EU Consumer Protection Law (Directive 2011/83/EU), they continued to ignore my refund request and sent irrelevant responses.

I have not used any paid features since being charged. Their support has been unhelpful, dismissive, and unresponsive to a legitimate consumer rights complaint.

I am now forced to dispute the charge with my bank and file a formal complaint with consumer protection authorities. I would strongly advise others to be very careful when signing up for any Smallpdf trial.

Converting a Word document to a PDF is very easy. I only have to convert a document a few times a year so I really appreciate that Smallpdf.com is free for occasional use.
