I've used them for a 16 months without any issues but then they just disappeared off the face of air this week and I ended up losing my whole website (note to self, always backup!). There is no way to contact them anymore. AVOID

Michael is a nice guy, very solid and prompt response on tickets.

The hosting service is reliable, fast and worth every penny. I bought three service from him, all are in good state. The plans are allocated with sufficient resources (nvme drives, ryzen CPU, no inodes / email / db limits, etc).

Smallweb values loyal customers too, it provided a upgrade with additional discount for the legacy plans. That is a rare practice in hosting industry!

I recently bought the 1 GB shared hosting plan but the service SmallWeb offers already exceeds my expectations.

Even though the owner said that he is a startup, I must say that his service is superb and amazing.

Michael offers generous plans which is affordable and great for budget conscious users.

I don't have any problems with uptime or any configuration. I didn't make any tickets since my first month.

The servers are fast and not oversold. My website always load very fast, even with the third party website speed tests.

Michael constantly improves his service. He is also transparent with the things that he do with his business. He informs his customers through twitter, announcements, and blog posts.

Worth every penny. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a new host with good specs and a dedicated IP address and thought I'd give Small Web a try. There was a minor issue regarding the IP that Michael quickly cleared up. Then I should have installed SSL before I installed some software, so it was my fault, but Michael thoroughly investigated, replicated the problem I was having, explained it to me and fixed it. There was then another hiccup I found relating to my installation of Textpattern CMS, and Michael sussed it out and sorted it. So customer service is second to none, plus server speed and specs are excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Want to give my appreciation to Michael at Smallweb, as I have had issues with my previous hosting due to lack of response times of several weeks and found his company through reviews and Google Search to host a small site online.
Has explained that his is a startup but even as a startup, his time to respond personally to customers has been warming and professional to say the least. Am very happy at his level of commitment at some small issues that was causing me confusion and wishing him the best success!

Smallweb has been one of the best hosting services I have used, the support staff is great and the uptime is reliable along with low prices for how high quality the hosting is!

Scammers and thiefs. They are incompetent, websites stop working, when asked to repair the problem they simply just deleted hosting account and blocked the client account.

I have Smallweb plans in Luxembourg, Melbourne (Australia) and Los Angeles (US). While the primary trigger was price, the choice of locations was another appealing factor. I was looking to consolidate my hosting (ended up doing the opposite, but that's another story).

Coming to the service:

Good stable performance, better still is the customer service and attitude. Michael is a great guy to reach out to for support. There have been a couple of hiccups- DNS changes (Luxembourg) and Softaculous not working (Los Angeles), but one message for a quick fix and I was ready to cruise again. To be fair, I have had these challenges with larger more established providers as well. Particularly the Softaculous issue.

I had my home ip lock out once- one message/ticket and the issue was resolved. Finally Smallweb helped with consolidation of the payment or duration of my plans. One was for 1 year, other for 2, and third for three. Now all set upto Dec 2022.

Next year planning to sign up for Cloudz, Smallweb's sister service.

I'm happy with the great service provided by SmallWeb Hosting, I recently checked Low End Talk as I wanted to switch from my current web hosting provider. Upon checking Low End Talk I had come across SmallWeb Hosting, which had all the needed necessities. I automatically sprung into action when I see the great offers they had in stock.

I now currently have 3 websites hosted using SmallWeb Hosting, they really do provide a great and reliable service for the current price I paid for, including the extra features such as; daily backups, cloudlinux and PHP selector. I also only needed to use the support a few times just for general information, most tickets were solved in under 3 hours. Smallweb is amazing very helpful service, fast servers, great support what more could one ask for? The control panel is a blessing to and I highly recommend SmallWeb and I'll be staying put for years :).
