Our experience at the Harborne Centre was
outstanding in every respect. My son genuinely enjoyed the lessons and looked forward to each session with enthusiasm. The 11 Plus preparation was made both approachable and enjoyable, easing what can often be a stressful journey. The staff at Harborne were consistently supportive and readily available throughout the year. The course was thoughtfully structured to accommodate the varied needs of students. We are sincerely grateful to the dedicated teachers and managers for their exceptional pastoral care and academic support.

After having experienced two different tuition centres, we felt super pleased with Smart 11+ (Harborne). Both our sons enjoy attending their sessions, and speak highly of the interactions they have with their tutors. We can see how much effort the tutors put in towards the teaching, and how they go that extra mile to get to know the children too, showing an interest in them as individuals as well as students.
The manager Arzina is very welcoming and has always been accommodating to the needs of our children and us as a family. She goes above and beyond in providing support and ensures everyone is happy. She keeps us connected with their progress and is always available for a chat when needed!
I have recommended this centre to a few friends already, who have also got off to great starts, and will continue to recommend.
Our son passed his grammar test with a brilliant score, we are super proud of him and couldn’t have done it without Smart 11+!
Our other son will be taking his entrance exam next year and we are confident that Smart 11+ will support him the same way!

We've had a really positive experience with Smart 11 Plus in Sutton Coldfield over the past 4 years. Both of my children always came out of their sessions with great feedback about their tutors. Steve, in particular, was exceptional – always encouraging, approachable, and friendly, which made a huge difference to my children’s learning.

I also really valued the written feedback after every lesson, which was detailed and included clear, actionable points for improvement. This structure kept us on track and reassured me that progress was being made.

Thanks to their support, my eldest secured a place at his desired grammar school, and my youngest is currently awaiting results. Overall, I would highly recommend Smart 11 Plus to anyone looking for supportive, professional, and effective tutoring.

Smart 11 based in Kings heath have been excellent, the staff are friendly and approachable. The work is designed in a way that my chid wants to complete it, she really enjoys going to these classes. The feedback we get is tailored to each child.

This is a very good centre and my daughter loves attending classes here. And her skills have definitely improved! Be able to master the exam skills. All the teachers are very kind and the staff here are very helpful. They will reply to my concerns and questions very quickly, and because of the small class size, they can pay attention to each student's ability and make appropriate adjustments quickly to ensure that every student has better training!

My son has just finished his 11 plus journey, and attended weekly tutoring sessions for the year prior to sitting the entrance exam. We were looking for a tutoring provider who could offer a holistic approach to familiarise with the contents of the 11 plus exam, but also also offer wider educational benefit, increase confidence and support our son to reach his potential within a low pressure environment.

From the initial assessment the centre managers and tutors were welcoming and supportive, and our son was always happy to attend sessions. Not only did he make great progress and grow in confidence, but he also had lots of fun, participating in additional opportunities such as creative writing, and other seasonal competitions.

We were pleased with the final 11 plus exam score, but our son came away from his experience with so much more; new friends, fond memories, increased resilience, and a greatly expanded vocabulary.

Smart 11+ Tuition at Sutton Coldfield is a very unique and special place. Every tutor (Steve, Chloe, Emma, Rohit, Shenai, Alice to name a few) are amazing, approachable, very knowledgeable and work tirelessly for the children. The feedback given to parents after every session is very valuable and confidence-boosting. Children are taught and cared for just like their own. Elara, the centre manager, has been very approachable, kind, understanding and dealt with all and any worries (big/small) in a very friendly and professional way.
Our son recently attended the booster course at Sutton Coldfield, and he is thriving with top scores through effective practice with the smart 11+ tutors boosting his confidence. The 11+ is about learning essential tricks & strategies, and not everything is taught in a normal school curriculum. These tutors are up to date with the new style updated questions introduced in the 11+ exam each year and we are glad Rayaan is with Smart 11+. I have no doubts! We’ve definitely made the right choice investing in Smart 11+ sessions every Wednesdays & Saturdays at Sutton Coldfield. Most importantly, our son is very happy with achieving excellent scores, which makes him want to attend each session more! His progress is positively reflected in his school report. Everyone in the team are very professional & friendly. Just want to say a huge ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone - You Are Amazing!

I can remember the day I contacted Smart 11plus tuition. I was very anxious and unsure if I was doing the right thing by my daughter. Speaking to the Sutton Coldfield centre Manager and going through the whole process of how it works, what do they offer was very promising. It was one of the best decision I had made. Smart plus tuition was right for my daughter . The tremendous support and guidance that the team had provided for both me and my daughter is now reflected in her final outcomes. This journey was not easy but with regular feedback and providing resources really made my daughter’s journey smoother. I could see the progress that she was making .

Smart 11plus is a very organised, dedicated and very professional. Very efficient in what they do. Throughout our journey the communication was outstanding. On a weekly basis we received lots of materials that was an asset to my daughter. Always willing to answer our questions.

Overall, I would say Smart 11plus tuition ( Sutton Coldfield) is an outstanding tuition place for children who are looking to thrive and excel in their 11plus test . The support that I received as a parent was phenomenal.

Tutors are all amazing, my son enjoyed go to the tution every week and the detailed feedback is good and with potential focus. My son started at Smart 11+ in October 21. He wasn’t too keen on Saturday lessons at first but he throughly enjoyed them.

He would come bounding out after every session filling me in on what he’d been learning. It genuinely made him light up seeing the process he was making week on week. Special shout out to Steve for all the football chat! You guys are amazing and do a fantastic job. Many thanks

We cannot recommend Smart 11+ enough. My daughter began attending pre covid, she attended throughout the covid lockdowns and once face to face tutoring resumed. I was consistently impressed with the standard of the tuition. We were provided with realistic feedback and my daughter felt encouraged and motivated. I always felt that they had my daughter’s best interests at heart. The pupils are not just “coached” to pass an exam - they are prepared academically for the exam by building on and developing the ability that the child already has. My daughter took her 11+ in Sept 2021 - she scored well. We recently found out that she was successful in gaining a place at one of the Birmingham Grammar Schools. We are all absolutely thrilled. We will be sending out younger son to Smart 11+ in 2023.

Highly recommend Smart 11+, both my daughters went in year 5 and both had such positive experiences. The teachers gave them such confidence and excellent tuition, ahead of the exam, and both loved the weekly groups as well as the intensive summer week which allowed them to practice sample papers and timings. We attended pre and during covid and the online tuition was also excellent. Sam, Emily and Elise were always so helpful answering any queries. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for anyone considering taking 11+ exam

Great tuition and brilliant tutors. My daughter really benefited from the extra lessons and gained access into the school we all hoped she'd get into. Highly recommended.

Our son joined smart 11+ about 18 months ago, we can definitely say he enjoyed his time in the Smart 11+ tuition. Sam, Emily and his team encourages the children in a way that made my kid explore his ability above and beyond. There was always a feedback written in their notebook after each session on what needs to be done or the areas in which he had to improve and work. Sam and Emily were always available to answer any doubts that we had and to provide any guidance on next steps.
Even during the lockdown, the team made sure classes were not disrupted by sending them videos on the topics that needed to be taught and the assessments that they had to do at home. If the kids perform well during the online sessions they never forget to encourage by sending them appreciation postcards. The team often conducted challenges, mainly on times table and they ask parents to record the time of completion. This made my son workout really quickly so that he could win the challenge. This helped him to do his Math really fast.
This tuition also made sure that they don't put too much pressure on kids and advised us not to stress out as well. The weekly sessions were all for a bit more than an hour but they made sure they cover all the topics needed for the 11+ exams. The online platforms like BOFA and Bedrock were really very good. BOFA had lots of small tests that covered a wide range of topics. Bedrock helped a lot in improving the vocabulary skills. They gave lots of tips to prepare for the exam.
We are quite blessed and delighted with the scores that our son has got and this was primarily due to the support and positive encouragement we had from this tuition.

Thank you Smart 11+ Tuition. Huge appreciation to all the members of staff for their amazing teaching in person and online. It has been a very difficut year with other things going on. Smart 11+ Tuition has made things much easier for everybody especially for our child who has thoroughly enjoyed the classes. Not only have the lessons helped academically but also have played a huge part in his self confidence and to meet new friends in the class.
