I've done a plethora of research on bar prep companies with my wife, and there are no doubt many options. Too many! We listened to podcasts, read countless reviews, spoke to tutors, and read more blogs than we care to remember. We got sucked into going with BarBri after a high-pressure sales pitch. Needless to say, my wife failed the bar exam on the 1st try. After speaking to others who had used Smart Bar Prep with success, we finally gave them a shot and pulled the trigger on the purchase. My wife and I looked through the materials together and we were blown away by the quality of it all as well as the way the program has been organized!!! She hasn't taken the exam again yet, but after looking at the materials she was relieved to see that it didn't seem as overwhelming as her last bar prep course! We worked directly with Matthew, who I must say is highly professional and at the same time a genuinely good human being. The level of empathy he showed is second to none, which was a bonus. We couldn't recommend the company and Matthew more, and I'll most certainly be spreading the word to anybody else looking into bar prep courses.
