We have recently had a bug with a new inbox not showing ANY replies which are all getting missed (not a good look) so I have to manually revert to inbox to find and reply to them.

I have been trying to speak with their support team for nearly 2 weeks and I don't feel like they're getting anywhere - 1-2 day replies, new agents jumping in and asking the same question with zero context... really poor

Many other software out there they provide a much better customer support team.

I'm only writing this in hopes to get an actual team member who can help me resolve this issue - then I'd be happy to change this review, but until then...

Extremely unreliable platform with the worst service I have experienced. I was very disappointed with the tool, which is practically unusable. Bugs occur almost every day and affect campaigns at various levels: email accounts disconnect unexpectedly, emails disappear, and responding to leads from their "Master Inbox" is often impossible. The platform is so unreliable that you have to constantly monitor your activity to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Even worse is their support team. On average, it takes 8–9 hours to get a response (I’m based in Asia), with no consideration for your time. They may send a message asking for clarification, then disappear again for hours. You can imagine how slow issue resolution is with that kind of communication.

This company has been AWFUL to work with. Their website is used for sending email campaigns, but when we used the software it was FULL of bugs. Constant issues with it led us to cancel our subscription. Since cancelling, this company continues to send us unsolicited emails even though I've told them multiple times to stop emailing me. I've clicked on their unsubscribe link, I've emailed them, but nothing seems to work. They have even told me "We have unsubscribed you from the emailing list", yet they continue to spam me. This company only does email campaigns which require them to provide an option to unsubscribe, and they can't even get that right.

Very useful for email campaigns. Great free trial. Although it's sometimes a bit buggy and the emails got randomly disconnected, it was still a good experience overall.

Smartlead makes it easy for users to send cold email. I've been using it for cold email on and off for the past 3 years. The team is constantly improving the platform. I'm a big fan of their latest iteration around adding a CRM to visually track your leads so you don't leave money on the table. Highly recommend for cold email.

I've exlpored Instantly and Saleshandy. I love lemlist because it's multi-channel. But if i think about cold email only, Smartlead takes the lead.

Amazing software, been using it for months and months.

Scam! They tell you you can just pause the subscription for 2 months than they take your money again and againa and again... that is a criminal behaviour.

I spent $200 on various services, ordered Hyperlinks, formatted my email, and my emails are logged as spam. No one will help me. I have tried everything, The customer service is non existent. I just wasted $200.

I absolutely LOVE smartlead... up until 3 months ago out team were literally writing every email by hand and the response rate was trash. Smartlead has been a gamechanger for us, cant recommend a tool enough! Just started testing out there CRM feature and proving very useful as well... 100% recommend A++

SCAM
The e-mail deliverability is average at best. Cancelling the service is almost impossible.

We send the cancellation request via the live chat. Cancelling via Stripe in-app was impossible for us. After they confirmed that they paused (weid, we asked for cancellation) it, we still got charged. We then asked them again and they told us that they could never find our initial request. It would almost be funny if it wasn't so frustrating.

Overall, I advise you to stay aways from the tool. They have a good Marketing and LinkedIn presence. But the tool, the usability, and the service are horrible.

Terrible application. Should not use it at all. Im doing just the basic stuff and it's not working as expected. Why is it even live? Error upon error.

I use it for all my cold emailing needs, and their obsession with deliverability is unparalleled.

Their tech is terrible. Basic things such as inbox syncing doesn't work. That is, if you get an email response into one of your connected mailboxes, it should show in your master inbox inside Smartlead. About half of the replies you get don't show up. So you'll never see them. They slip through the cracks.

Instead they choose investing into "fancy" features such as a CRM.

Why don't they get their basic tech working to begin with? How do they prioritize features? I don't know. Seems like they don't know either.

The tech support is utterly helpless. They confirm that the issue was solved, but it hasn't. They're all over the place, with multiple support agents dealing with you, and every time they ask you the same questions, starting the troubleshooting from zero. I start to believe that the issue hasn't even got to the tech team.
