As someone running a small boutique hotel, I gotta say – tech usually isn’t my thing. I’m more about the guest experience and keeping the rooms spotless. But Smartness.com? Total lifesaver.

Ongoing Billing After Contract Cancellation – Poor Support
I regret signing up for Smartpricing. After deciding the platform wasn’t right for our business, I formally cancelled the contract, disconnected the system from Guesty, and revoked the Direct Debit.
Despite this, the company continues to issue unauthorised invoices with no contractual justification. Their contract makes no mention of a 12-month penalty, yet they insist on enforcing one post-cancellation.
Repeated emails, legal notices, and formal complaints have gone unanswered. No one from their customer support or finance team has followed up properly. We are still receiving invoices months after cancelling – a clear breach of ethical and professional business practices.
This experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and frankly, aggressive. I strongly advise reviewing the contract terms in detail and considering the long-term customer support implications before committing to this platform.

The contract is a scam
The contract is a scam, you pay monthly, like any service that you pay monthly, however Smartpricing has a 13-month contract, and if you don't pay for a month, the contract continues, meaning they keep charging you but you are left without access to the service, until the end of the contract, totally unbelievably undignified.
Poor candidate experience
Poor candidate experience, with an extremely unpleasant sales VP.
In the process I was passed from post to post, only to meet the sales lead who had a very hostile demeanour and clearly couldn’t be bothered to be there. He demanded an impromptu cold call simulation mid way through the call to sell Smartpricing, and after ranking it he then followed it with his own, which left much to be desired. I was invited to critique his back, and when I did, he became even more hostile. Measuring a cold call against yours when you’ve been at the company for years, selling the product, is a silly way to measure and reeks of an inexperienced process.
Never heard from them again (nobody in the company) but I’m really glad - all interest flew out the window. The competitive landscape is growing and smartpricings product is quite dated.
