So another day
So another day, another genius platform like Smartrade crawling out of the internet's damp basement. Is anyone actually surprised they are flagged for unauthorized activity by the FCA or that people are losing their life savings? (I really should just stop checking, but watching the train wreck is addictive.) These "platforms" are about as reliable as a map drawn by a toddler. It is a bumpy road drive a bad idea, and Smartrade is the equivalent of driving that road with three wheels and a blindfold. Every "guaranteed return" is just a trap door waiting to drop you into a pit of hidden fees and "withdrawal taxes" that never end. Do they think we are all that desperate? I ignore that because, honestly, the answer is usually yes. I only ended up touching "𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁.𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲" because I was backed into a corner with zero options left. My expectations were in the dirt. But, to my utter annoyance, it actually worked to get my funds retrieved. The pattern stayed undetected, and it did exactly what it claimed to do without the typical song and dance. It is still a digital minefield out there, but at least that one didn't blow up in my face (yet). Trusting the internet is still a fool's errand, so do not come crying to me when your next "smart" move leaves you broke. ( ̄皿 ̄)
