New Laptop and Software - Purchase Advice and Migration Support
I approached SME ONE initially with a number of questions regarding replacement of a very dated laptop, appropriate software upgrades, related security concerns, back-ups, and pros and cons of migration to cloud services. Though the answers were a little time in coming, the quality and depth of the response, which ran to several pages, far exceeded my expectations, justified the time taken, and displayed a clear understanding of my circumstances and uncertainties. It immediately built trust and confidence. Following my purchase of the new laptop and software, SME ONE managed a less than straightforward migration from the old to the new. This was done remotely and took many hours, but with confidence-giving phone or WhatsApp communication throughout the process. Though there were a few issues along the way, and there remain some aspects to be tidied up, (the pace of which is being constrained by me), I am confident that these will be managed with a similar level of attention to detail, and determination to 'get it right' to the end. I greatly value the relationship I have developed with the technical support individual to whom I have been allocated. I feel "in good hands", and appreciate the ethos that: "no question is a silly question". I sense SME ONE are clearly trying to ensure that their customers get the productivity benefits they should, from the IT that they may have. I have been reassured by the quality and responsiveness of personal engagement.
