Smith Atlas is the first full service vacation rental management company to specialize exclusively in West Seattle, White Center, Columbia City, Rainier Beach, Beacon Hill, Georgetown, and SoDo (South of Downtown). My company was born from both inspiration and necessity. “I wish I could have stayed here!” I hear this all the time when friends and family visit West Seattle and tour other plum southern neighborhoods during their visits. Southern and Southwestern neighborhoods are close to downtown Seattle, yet worlds away from the hustle, bustle and noises of the city: - Alki Beach provides some of the best views of Seattle’s iconic skyline. - Lincoln Park combines forests, tranquil beaches, western views of the mountains, islands, and Puget Sound, plus pool swimming and playgrounds. - Seward Park offers Eastern mountain views, beaches, Lake Washington swimming and water sports. In between, there are tree lined streets, boutique shops, and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, street markets, and year-round special events. - Best of all, there’s plenty of free parking, peace, and quiet here. - And yet, most visitors stay downtown because that’s where most of the city’s vacation rentals are. I’ve lived in West Seattle since 2004 and watched the area grow from a sleepy peninsula town to the thriving community it is today. I was constantly meeting neighbors who were interested in turning their houses, condos, mother-in-law suites, and ADU’s (auxiliary dwelling units) into vacation rentals, but were unsure about the process, the regulations, and the potential hassle of doing so. Other people I talked who had their homes listed, but were either struggling with the DIY route, or frustrated with being a small fish in their property manager’s portfolio. It dawned on me that I was ideally qualified to offer area homeowners a unique, streamlined way to turn their properties into lucrative investment properties. Smith Atlas utilizes many of the methods and techniques I perfected while managing a large commercial property portfolio for one of the city’s top employers. To be successful in that high-stakes arena, I needed to be resourceful and detail oriented while employing excellent process, people, and time management skills. It was my dream to bring my expertise to the residential rental arena with Smith Atlas. When you list with Smith Atlas, you work with me directly. I’ll personally manage every detail discussing all the ways we can align your property with the best-possible ROI. While I handle all details of property management and strategic marketing, my support team includes professional cleaners, general contractors, photographers, and handymen and women. As a guest, you will find well-appointed, clean accommodations in beautiful neighborhoods and urban centers where restaurants, shopping and fun excursions are minutes away.
