Dishonest, no communication, avoid entirely
Dishonest company with shady communication issues. Absolutely appalling company to deal with, would recommend you deal with caution or avoid altogether.
I was informed I had a subscription soon to be renewed as of July 2021. Immediately I tried to cancel my subscription but accessing the site through Google search and trying alternatively through the defunct links Snakku provides in the emails my subscription was not listed, even after utilizing their FAQ page and so I could not cancel.
I emailed Snakku of this, expecting that any decent company with forthright practices and who value customer service will reply and cancel on my behalf. It's not almost 4 weeks and they have not deigned to reply. My box shipped and suddenly a link was provided which showed me having an active subscription- despite the same webpage before deadline showing nothing at all. They shipped my box, failed to reply and did not even attach a tracking number.
Absolute lack of customer communication shows a lack of basic respect and shady business ethics to potential consumers who wanted to buy your products in the first place.
It's been over two weeks and still no sign of the package- to be honest, I expect (if it does not come, with my experience I cannot trust absent a tracking number they have even dispatched it) they will not bother to respond to my inquiry. Their social media platforms do not respond to communication attempts, and they are careful to highlight five-star reviews and there are not a tremendous amount anyway.
Save yourself the waste of time and effort and deal with a company that offers quick and efficient customer service who actually treat you as a paying customer, the cheaper and more expansive boxes- even more shameful that Snakku, which is pricier and attempts to target consumers with a 'premium' niche is so disgraceful with ghosting customer communications- like TokyoTreat and Bokksu offer an excellent, straightforward customer experience and their website is actually usable.
Otherwise, my best advice is to cancel your card and let others know that they are potentially fueling money to a company that does not care and will ignore you if you should be so unlucky to encounter problems.
Even sadder, having regular subscriptions of TokyoTreat and Bokksu, I was looking to change subscriptions because of how attractive an alternative, 'premium' experience Snakku offered but I have been so disappointed at the total lack of disregard and care as a customer that I will never again fall to such a dubious, sleazy and downright unprofessional commercial enterprise. In fact, TokyoTreat now offers another subscription box, Sakuraco, which offers the kind of sublime, authentic artisal experiences I looked forward to from Snakku so now I know which company to buy a yearly subscription to.
PS: I'm going to update this post whenever appropriate with any future experiences with my current dilemma.
