Snapmuse is a scam app

Snapmuse is a scam app. They don't seem to have any interest in bu9ilding a real business.
They have tried to charge my account four times, luckily Bank of America is reversing. Seemed a good product to try, but after this cannot recommend at all.

As you registered our services billing annually, your 30-day free trial was started. When the free trial expired, your annual subscription started, and the subscription fee was taken from your account. Since the subscription was not canceled, your subscription was renewed every year. You can also cancel your subscription anytime if you decide to not use Snapmuse anymore.

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE. Snapmuse have stopped communicating with me, failing to resolve a complaint. After refunding me for a previous erroneous charge (Free Trial Ending) Snapmuse then failed to cancel my subscription and one year later, charged me another full years subscription.

Email complaint, with evidential emails sent to snapmuse requesting initial account cancellation have not been replied to. Snapmuse have so far refused to refund the charge.

We can see that you contacted us on Apr 24, 2024, and we responded to your message on Apr 25. We also offered a solution for the refund but we have yet to hear back from you for the refund offer. Do NOT USE THE TRIAL

Do NOT. I mean do not set up a free trial. They stole money even after ending my trial. Everything about this page and company is fraud. The minute I saw the charge was pending,I emailed the company ,demanding my page\profile be terminated, due to finding a better app, obviously not in likes with the app at all, the trial just showed me how trash it app really is, anyways,later that day after bringing it the there attention, they took my money…. They are a scam,they ARE FRAUD,LACK OF COMMUNICATION,THEIVES… they are not deserving,stealing money from people is NOT THE ANSWER. I want my money back,even reading these others people comments,the company still moves like a fraud company. PLEASE DONT DO IT PROPLE

Since you did not cancel your subscription, once the free trial period ended on September 26 an invoice for your subscription was created, and due to lack of funds, your payment was issued late on October 15. A cancellation request was sent by you on September 29, after the end of the trial period.

You contacted us on October 17 with multiple emails and we wrote back to you on the same day expressing that we would like to you issue a refund for your subscription.

Do not use this company!

This company does not send out notices when a free trail ends. Do not give your credit card information to them. They charged me a year later after the free trial ended, I did not use the service at all during that time, and they refused to give me a refund. They are very unethical and unapologetic. This unexpected charge came at the worst possible time.

You can always cancel your subscription from your account settings. Also, we see that you had an unpaid invoice back on April 9, 2022. Therefore, a payment for the unpaid invoice was triggered again. Since your payment was not collected in the given time, your subscription was deactivated and the payment became an open invoice.

User friendly website and very good experience so far

I’ve been using Snapmuse for 5 months now and I love it! Been using their tracks for Youtube and Instagram and didn’t have any problems with monetization so far.
Also, the website is very user friendly. I was getting my music from another website before and to be honest their search page made me feel like I was trying to find my way in a maze. The struggle was very overwhelming for me as I am fairly new in the creator industry and I don’t like wasting my time to find a song that I like for my videos!!
Snapmuse’s search page has a very clean and precise design in my opinion, so you guys get an extra star from me for valuing user experience!

Good for early stage and experienced creators looking to cut their fix costs

I've started using snapmuse about a year ago. Their priced seemed comparatively cheap and I wanted to see if it could lower my fixed costs on my channel. Here is what you need to know:

(+) They are cheaper than the top tier alternatives and you lose nothing on quality of tracks.
(+) Their tracks are top quality and there are many options. You are not short on selections and the tunes doesn't feel like royalty free or muzak. I got the same quality I used to get from epidemic.
(+) They recently added a large number of SFX which was a welcome addition as the lack of it was annoying.
(+) UX improving by day.
(+) Tracks are available in different lengths, i.e. easy to use for both long and short form content.

(-) As far as I can tell Snapmuse is still new and improving. There is still work to be done on the ux. They seem to be increasingly updating the product lately. Good if it keeps going.
(-) Search needs a bit of attention too. The music is there but sometimes searching for it takes a minute.

Who is it for: People testing the waters in their creative pursuits and for experienced creators wanting to lower their fix costs.

charge client for no service after months from stop using there music and service

the use my card and charge me for 1 year subscription with out asking me after 7 or 8 months I stop my account
the just scamming people
I stop use there service for reason that #after you stop your subscription with them all your channel got copyright claims
and making issues with me on my channel
so the are scammers
I don't recommend to even open there website

SCAM COMPANY - Do not use

Do not use. I signed up for a 30 day trial at the beginning of this month, and got an email 2 weeks later saying they switched my account over to paid - charging me $80. I reached out to support to try get a refund, and their exact words were “since you entered your credit card information while creating your account, we are unable to issue you a refund”. Make it make sense. Terrible company, terrible service, and all the music is on AudioJungle anyways.

They don't even deserve up to 1 star. I signed up with them for a month and decided against using their services a few weeks before the end of my free trial. Before I decided to leave, I had already used a few of their songs in a YouTube video. They proceeded to copyright strike the video that contained songs from their website after my membership ended. This is really confusing and annoying, as their website states that they WOULD NOT strike down any video that was uploaded while your membership was active (even if you decide to terminate your membership). My video should have been 100% free from their strike because it was uploaded within the time period stated on their own website. I wouldn't ever consider using their services again, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone else.

I've never had an issue with Snapmuse before and they have great content so 5 stars on that but I can't give you 5 stars ✨️ at the moment because when I went to upload my video I got a copyright claim on my Cooking video from a video I used in the past! Now I don't know what happened but I have a paid subscription with you guys please let me know what's going on! Did my payment not go through or something! Please help me fix this issue so I can upload my Cooking video and why would you issue a claim? I have been a customer for a very long time! Let's fix this together as soon as possible. Similar to other experiences here

Similar to other experiences here, I tried to cancel allegedly after the free trial ended. They get you because they end the trial a day earlier in the month (is March 4 to April 3 instead of 4). And they charged the day it allegedly ended. The music selection was really not that great either in my opinion.
Hey also funny thing is that they gave an Ireland phone number in the invoice that isn't even to their company.
