Reliable budget trekking operator

We experienced Snowcap as a very reliable Kilimanjaro tour operator. We trekked the Lemosho route in 7 days with two of their regular guides and a crew of happy Tanzanians supporting us.

In our experience Snowcap is cheaper than many other operators, but we did not see this reflected in either quality of guides, other staff, food, or gear. The guides spoke good English, and the general staff was happy, helpful, and very reliable. Food was plenty, and good. Gear was older than average on the mountain, but fully functional.

We experienced the guides and the team in general as very aware of safety on the mountain, as well as living up to the regulations of the national park.

We experienced that porters and other staff were treated well, and their safety along with ours was of high priority of the guides.

We would at all times recommend Snowcap as a budget Kilimanjaro tour operator.
